According to CDC report, not less than 361people are being shot every day in the US. the real question atm is, why is the US still not rated amongst the world unsafe country?? no matter how worse security situation is in Nigeria 2527 persons cannot be shot dead weekly in Nigeria

Truly Nigerians atm is one of Nigeria's biggest problem, tell em Nigeria is more terrible than Afghanistan and watch em praise you for b!tch talking their country. Nigeria isn't even worse when it comes to kidnapping as compared to South Africa but do brainless Nigerians know?? NO
You really don't know what you are saying. Google is your friend. In 2020, 21,570 American were murdered. That gives an average of 415 persons weekly. I don't know where you get your facts from.
Nigeria does not have good data of murder rates but ifor you do some research, you would find out that in 2016, at least 60,000 Nigerian were murdered. That's about 3 times the American rate.
Just use Google ok
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Sexual Immorality The Devil's Last Card In These Last Days? by tctrills: 9:15am On Nov 21, 2021
Onyiiobi7735:
I have observed so many happenings around me in this world pertaining to Sexual immorality.

Fornication, adultery and rape are daily increasing at an alarming rate in our world today, with so many of our youths, married couple including even clergymen entangled in the deadly web.

Constantly we hear news of a pastor raping a church member, father raping his own daughter, married men and women having sex outside the marriage, and so on;and this has brought untold troubles on the society.

And to add to it all,the proliferation of PORNOGRAPHY in all its diverse genres_Gay porn, lesbian porn,Bisexual porn, straight porn and so on has further fueled the raging fire of sexual immorality consuming our world today.
The question is why is sexual immorality so effective and potent a weapon for Satan in destruction of souls and destinies?
So many souls in prison today worldwide are there due to sex related crimes, and many have passed away due to that.

Why is it so so powerful?
Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed along with their thousands of citizens in matter of minutes, all due to homosexuality and bisexuality(Genesis 19:1_29)
And this is what governments of developed nations are legalizing and giving public appraisal today.

Lucifer really has great power, and we often underestimated his capabilities. That's why he is such a dangerous enemy.

It was sexual immorality that led to a civil war that almost wiped out the tribe of Benjamin in Israel(Judges 19,20).

The people of Israel lost 24,000 souls due to this terrible cancer on their way to Canaan at Peor in the valley of Acacia;when they began to worship Baal (Beelzebub) and have sex with Canaanite women(Numbers 25:1_end)
Baal is worshipped as a fertility god, through sex with temple prostitution, alongside his female counterpart, Ashtaroth.

Today, the Devil is still doing what he has always done, but this time he is employing technology to do so to create Pornography, intimacy gadgets, sex change surgery and so on.
The devil really counts on sexual immorality.
There has been sexual immortality from time. It is not unique to the last days.
As long as we have sex organs, there would be immorality

didn't you read when Op said his father is proud of him. From his write up you would know he's paying his bills.

And the list goes on. Yet their parent are happy with them.

What's bad op want to follow his dreams. Do you know how his father make his money?

Na wa 4 una ooo..
You obviously don't get the point.
A father that has met his responsibilities all through and is a successful man does not deserve a son who comes online to discuss his dressing.
If you can't respect your father's lifestyle choices then big shame.
You are 29 and you feel you have the right to change your father because he chooses a simple life.
The way children bring up their family issues on nairaland these days is becoming something else.
Really shame on the OP.

Perez99:
Good day nairalanders.
I will make it very brief. Please I need your advice.
I've been a nairalander since 2016 but this is my first official post.

My father is a good, noble and humble man. A successful business man. He's very proud of us (his children), we're also proud of him. We're 3. I'm 29 years of age, the eldest and only son. He make sure we don't lack anything. We all went to one of the prestigious Private University in Nigeria. I and my immediate baby sis are graduate, while last born still in 300l.

The problem is that, my father don't know how to dress, he prefer to wear faded and worn out clothes. My dad drive highlander 2014 model. If my Dad comes down from his car, you will think he's a driver to an imaginary Boss because of the way he dressed.
Blessed memories of my beloved mom May her soul R.I.P. She was always complaining and sometimes my Dad won't listen to her.

I'm a good fashion designer, my love for fashion is topnotch. I also own a laundry store and a barbing store. I've been privileged to sew some clothes for comedian Buchi which he loves so much and he promised to patronize me again.

GOD in heaven knows how many lovely, mature and soft dress I've sew and bought for my father with my money. He only wears it once and won't wear it again, there are some he haven't put on at all. He celebrated his birthday August, I bought this nice shirt 18k for him as a gift. Till today he hasn't put it on.

Please note: money is not his problem. The other day he stopped by at my store, I and my boys were working. He noticed nobody was using one of my industrial machines. He asked and I said it was faulty. He said how much? I said 170k but I'll change it soon before January....(because I just wrapped my car from corolla to ES Lexus)....Before I could say Jack... Baba don send me 200k. I ordered the machine instantly.

See what happened this morning, He got an invitation to attend a meeting. The smartest way to dress for a highly regarded man like him is native wear.
So he gave me this faded black trouser turning white to brush for him, that he wanted to wear it for the meeting...See eh, It was so annoying. I went to his room gathered the nice, starched and ironed native I could gather and I told him to select one, that I won't brush that faded trouser. He started saying ... " I'm proving stubborn and all manner things"... I'm sure our tenants could hear our argument.

Please Nairalanders. What can I do to make my Dad dress well. I plan to set fire on those faded and worn out clothes but it will look so disrespectful. I'm sure his friends have accepted his mode of dressing.
My siblings and I are tired of complaining.

Please I need an advice!!!
Your father has made money but your own interest is fashion.
You are the one that needs to change not your father

needsansa:
I'll cut the long story short.

I met this girl sometimes in 2018. She was living with her aunt who was not being nice, and early 2020 she returned to her mom. Im fact it was so terrible that and she survived several abuses from her aunt's husband, which she told me. I was actually the main force behind her eventual liberation and relocation to her mom. We've been together all through.

Then, mid this year, things went rough with her mom, and the poor woman returned to the village. Then she landed with this family friend of theirs(not related, but their mothers are old friends). This family lives a stone throw to her mom's place.

She's told me before she joined this family how their last son was troubling her for a date, but she has been refusing. Then mid this year she moves in with same family. It is a family of 3 boys. She would always be the one cooking for the family. Sometimes, she would have to cook and wash for the same boy and take food it to his house (which is a short distance from d family house). It did not stop there, anytime they are broke, the mother would send her to go and beg the same guy for money (teasing her that she has a way of collecting money from her son).

If I had d means I'd have also gotten an apartment so we could have more time together, but things neva set..I dey hustle nor be say I lazy, but soon sha God go perfect am.

I know what and what could have happened in all this drama but I want to gear from my agbas in the building - how should I go about this matter. Thank u.

Don't worry u can yab me smiley
It's not like you have an option here.
Just hope she comes back to you

MISSNORA:
Good evening all! Please i need mature replies on this topic. My elder brother is really hurting right now.

The Story.
My elder brother got married earlier this year...before the marriage, he was fully aware that his childhood friend[Michael] had dated his wife to be with sexx involved. The wife is the truthful type and lays everything bare. Michael is well aware that his ex [my elder Bros wife] is fully married to his friend[my brother]....My brothers wife and Michael recently reconnected again on social media and has since started up chats that "MAY" lead to them flirting. She shows my brother the chats and gives him every update. My brother is not happy with this development and is yet to communicate this to his wife.

Questions.
1...Should he tell the wife to block of Michael (his wife's ex, whom is coincidentally his childhood till date friend) ?is this a wise move considering the fact that this might make his wife start hiding stuffs
... The wife is cool with maintaining contact with this particular ex[Michael]....thought he tells my brother everything /the chats.
2....Can you allow ur spouse still in contacts with his/her ex?
3....Should my brother just talk to Michael straight up to stop chatting his wife?
It depends on the wife. If your brother married a dumb woman who doesn't have a brain of her own and is intelligent enough to choose her own friends and who she chats with then he should tell her to delete the guys contact.
But if she is a capable mature adult, then your brother should deal with his issues

I agree with you, Italy was not the most talented team but my point is, let's not act like we have superstars in our team and pretend it's all the managers fault.
That same Italy you mentioned did not qualify for the world cup directly under the same coach and same team.

PS: The Law is clear and precise (there's no ambiguity in the law court) but the media have creative freedom (they can make something as dramatic as they want). So Child, because the media said insurrection doesn't mean that's what they were going to be charged with. Haven't you heard of cases that the media call murder but they accused is charged with manslaughter.
You really need to read more. it will help you a lot. Find something you like and do and be happy instead of spending your time looking for conspiracy and something to hate on to make yourself feel better (because you kept saying CNN when majority of the media use the term insurrection)
Bros you na comedian. You keep saying it's difficult to prove insurrection yet you claim he is guilty of it.

clearly comprehension is your problem. Since you're begging to be schooled. HERE WE GO!!!
1) I never equate the ENDSARS to the Jan 6th Insurrection. I said if you read the ENDSARS report. An extract from report said that for soldiers and law enforcement to open fire on peaceful protesters can in that context be termed "Massacre". The dictionary definition of Massacre carries a different definition.
2) Using #1, let me break it down to you why the media use Insurrection but prosecutors can't.
I) How many arms of Government do we have in Democracy? Executive, Legislature and the Judiciary.
II) what was going on in Capitol Hill when they protesters broke through the barriers?
Congress was in session to confirm Joe Biden as the next President of USA.
iii) Did the protesters stop a legitimate and lawful democratic process enshrined in the Constitution? Yes, by virtue of breaking through the barriers, they for a moment stopped Congress from carrying out their lawful duty.
Now as you guys so very much like to bring up the dictionary meaning of insurrection. Answer this simple question, if they have succeeded in stopping Congress from confirming Joe Biden, is that not similar to saying they overthrew Joe Biden incoming government. Question 2: what would you call that?

Answer the two questions and I'll gladly continue your classes
The media accused the rioters of an insurrection but the justice department knew better.
As much as you and cnn wanted this to be an insurrection, the American law felt different. If you are not satisfied with the law then I can't help you

You clearly need some edu cation here and I would happily give it to you.
1. There is no semblance between the endsars and what happened in January 6th.
2. No one person was charged for insurrection. There is not evidence that anyone was planning or attempting to take over the American government. Unless maybe you have so evidence that the American Justice department does not have.
3.The minimum Jail term for insurrection is 5 years. No one was giving up to 4 years of jail.
