chukzyfcbb:Aerospace engineering in Nigeria.. I have no idea but my best guess will be AIRFORCE institute of technology (AFIT) |
bidexiii:Defence news in Nigeria is Bullshit. Today they call trainers fighter jets tomorrow they call rockets guns. I wish NA can be releasing information like NAF and not waiting for some fashion or celebrity news journalists. |
Odunayaw: Sir yes sir. Yes I know bro. The coating will be used on the UAV as mentioned. Design also features low obsevability. Glad this coating will be used.
|
rka2:Thanks bro. |
bidexiii:Usman said: “On receipt of the information, the Brigade mobilized and sent reinforcement, search and rescue party that include the Armed Forces Special Forces and guides that worked and pursued the terrorists throughout the night. “So far, they have rescued all the NNPC staff and recovered the corpses of the Officer, 8 soldiers and a civilian have who have been evacuated to 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital. |
Army loses 9 soldiers to rescue kidnapped NNPC staff Deathmachine are those guys AFSF or just regular? |
Damn! Anti aircraft guns. That Shiit was the reason why we lost many soldiers. |
nemesis2u:This is power pass power. We will get there. how much funding does DRDO gets? |
nemesis2u:That laptop crashed like 7 days ago. My files are off the laptop I need a laptop with no internet access now ![]() My hard-drive is sitting safe. |
jakeporeshenko:AFIT Kaduna has somepeople involved. Armament staff, Design team and engineering. All boils down to funding. Everything has been financed by the sister company all through. However, the project is expecting funding very soon so that's why I said hopefully December to January next year, something big should be out. I'll upload a copy of some of the project patent tomorrow. |
jakeporeshenko:Not a quadcopter, a UAV that needs a runway. |
This is the best I can upload. The UAV program has gone far with the program files etc amounting over 13GB in size. Had no access to the specification sheet as the place itself was not open. Engine : sourced from a German company. Alot of foreign contractors and expert had to get involved but project is ongoing still. I wish I could attach the picture but once there's something I can attach, I'll update. Hopefully, a prototype should fly next year January or end of this year.

The market is large enough. He can compete for his share but I doubt it can be a competitive issue to google. I saw a well detailed write-up on quora on why you can't beat Google. The best he can do to gain a meaningful percentage of the market. |
jakeporeshenko:Yes that's still in development. ToT just got finalized and that one is being planned specifically for NAF. A prototype is out . However in this, Demfas Aerosystems is designing a different encryption module to be used on it. The hardware part just got ready as of yesterday. The only complain and issue is having to import some stuff here and the dollar issue in making payment to suppliers. |
Life is more than being a Tribalist. Y'all should chill please ![]() |
I prefer the military taking control of escorts. Ambush is a very bad thing as you don't know where the enemy is firing from. 5BHT can completely kill over 20 armed officers in an ambush if you're not being tactical. Watch US military dash Cam or whatever during ambush, you'll see them wasting over 500 rounds just to suppress an ambush by just 2-5 ISIS member. |
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demfas_Aerosystems Demfas Aerosystems is a Nigerian manufacturer of telecommunication equipments. The company is based in Oyo state southwest Nigeria. Demfas Aerosystems started it's R& under the name Demfas Multiservices while Demfas Aerosystems was Founded in March 2016, the company started with a team or Nigerian experts having certifications or educational certificate in different fields such as armament, Aircraft manufacturing, Aircraft design , telecommunication, Elect Elect and software specialist. Demfas Aerosystems works with some foreign leading researchers, experts and others who share our vision for transforming the telecommunication industry. The company started with the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Contact: info@demfasaerosystems.com My own post. About the UAV, that thing doesn't seem to be flying anytime soon. I hope in 10-12 months as funding and technology will take a very long time. It will also be using a turbine engine. Less noise etc. I should be able to share the UAV design plan and parameters later on today. Yes, the UAV also uses a transponder and can be turned off manually by the team on ground.Attached DFMP-R1 DDMP-J1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demfas_Aerosystems

Fessy09:No, they tried removing area 51 from satellite view but then it's going to affect nearby areas due to its location. Alot of areas ain't accessible. Just look at the White House, it has been breached alot of times. Airbus owns some of those satellites. Google Images /google earth are not being controlled by google. They make use of third party satellites which you can see on the maps. Below are Nigerian airforce bases. Right down, you'll notice airbus as the provider. You may check tomorrow and see a clearer version being provided by another sattalite.

newafricaken254:Why is it that African countries don't harm helicopter in a heavy way? |
nemesis2u:Multiband jammer Yess but the DFMP I have no idea ![]() Haha I know much about the company because 1) Family stake in the company (investments) 2) Am among the group that developed the Encryption blablabla. (Present on my linkdln) 3) company biggest funding are from two companies (1) Parent Company : Demfas Multiservices and Glosad Nigeria. 4) Passing different tests, it dwarfed some radio in use by our military and police etc 5) They're currently working on some govt projects too. 6) Should receive her first investment from a non sister company soon. I think after that she should be fully public. |
Henry240:They should very soon. I think they're on the way to start with Proforce while so seeking Government approval for the handheld models to be used by our security agencies.
|
Those ain't Nigerian branded Coca-Cola. |
Fessy09:Area 51 is over hyped. Alot of pictures and videos coming out of there lately. On satellite, Area 51 is still visible on some sattalite provider database. |
White House number 3? You know how many times that place has been breached? ASO rock seems more secure to me. Forget the fact that the United States is more advance than Nigeria in terms of technology. |
Cc:kabe1 On funding, the company received investments from her parent company. Fully 100% privately runned and 98% Nigerian workers/specialist. The Remaing 2% goes to whatever ToT. However, the ToT are mostly on design while the technology used for the products belongs to the Nigerian company and are being protected by the company's patent.

... Can't upload the full brochure. The current brochure only shows their current product. When they're done with the audio jammer, spy camera etc. They should include in their brochure.
|
Henry240:Been promoting the company here by having her name on my signature for some time. So no one noticed. That means I would have been bad at PR. ![]() |
nemesis2u:What's that? |
IMO, this government has done great in terms of military. The only problem here is transparency which we've always have for years and again is keeping track of orders. If we were serious, we would have those JF 17 on ground since. We need to let them know we're paying for things and we can do and undo. To be sincere, I love PMB but as a military man, I expect him to concentrate more on military equipments and not just boots on ground. |
lilytender:He's an ADC. In the picture where he was holding his phone, they were in diamond formation. Now look, diamond formation in a non combat area means he'll be able to cover up in seconds if any Shiit happens.. That's why those DSS guys are at guard every single time. |
