Thanks bro.
What happened to the BTR turret? Do we remove them? That vehicle camo tho, I guess it's due to where they're being deployed. |

Some arguments are unnecessary. I don't see a white man to be more superior what then a fellow countryman? I have no interest in this Yoruba Vs Igbo issue. I'm not tribalistic you. You all keep arguing here while people from this two tribes are both doing buisness together, making money, getting married etc.
This life is more than nairaland BS. |

Awolowo001: [s]Keep quiet....minus that catapillar, which other model can proforce produce...
We are talking about car manufacturing....you are talking about catapillar manufacturing..
This young IMO state man is in the leaque of proforce...
This guy is even better than proforce because proforce is owned by Columbians and doing only welding work[/s] Are you okay? Proforce is Nigerian owned. Let me tell you something, IVM is Japanese then. What a dull logic.

MikeCZA: You can't deny the successes or contribution of those PMCs. From Angola bringing them in is like having or adding a paratroopers brigade worth of men in your armed forces.
There's no such thing as the best in the military world. The US was defeated by Vietnam. Russia was defeated in Chechnya. I see no big deal in what they've done. We had guys whose capability match up with theirs. No big deal just politics being played. Oh yes. There's no such thing like the best aircraft In the world. All fighter jets kill. |

lionel4power: when I was in the Premier Air Force base in Kaduna last year I saw more than a dozen of them lying about, a good number of them was also used for static display but sometimes early this year someone posted that the NAF wanted to convert some of them to drones. maybe they scraped the idea who knows? Yes. They will be flying unmanned. The project progress is what I don't know now. We need more UCAV. Armed ISR should be well conducted. |

however, I taught we were already mass producing the air beettle which appears like it has similar characteristics. I wonder what came about Fasasi.' I have no update on the air beetle tho. I would ask in few weeks time. Isn't the air beetle unmanned?? |

kikuyu1: [s]I'm going to have to step in here cause this is the shyt that ruined ToT as someone just said. Fyi,your Ship house boys were at DoD hq just after the Kismayu takedown requesting 2 things; the tactical playbook some KDF specops on scene in Mali to assist in N.A. ops. They went and advised a BIG NO! Too many players and complicated politics. I DON'T TALK OUT MY ARSE,FIND A COLONEL OR HIGHER RANK TO CONFIRM THAT AT YOUR END. Also sector 2, S Somalia is way bigger than your North East and is quiet, and has been since 2012. El Adde was outside the sector and was due to the carelessness of the coy commander as I said before. I admit the KAF needs lift and fast jets but DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING NEAR OUR KDF EQUIPMENT? ? Light and heavy gunships,SCAR H not to mention non tac basics like proper pay. A KDF soldier on any level gets 4x his Naij counterpart. A private gets just under 50 k ksh, about 500 $ monthly with 50% more in combat. On all levels the pay disparity between our 2 nations is similar. Stick to your NASF (what does that even mean?) pics instead of commenting cause your milItary knowledge sounds like the guy who SHOULD BE IN CHARGE OF THE MESS REPAIR KIT OR THE DUTY (cleaning) SQUAD AT THE DOG SECTION!!
Look what the KDF did on the fly. No time for a complicated fireplan just a hasty movement to action. Read more at: https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2001247388/ps-mariam-el-maawy-rescued-by-kdf-after-being-abducted-by-al-shabaab
Can the N.A. react so decisively,so quickly? HONESTLY? Hell no[/s] Your military being paid #1M and ours being paid #400k doesn't mean your guys are well better than ours in welfare. In your country, #1m naira may buy a Camry while and in Nigeria, you can buy a Prado. It's just common sense. in Nigeria, you'll get a stick sweet for 5# and here in China at 55-60# |

kikuyu1: Then what was Eeben Barlow doing with 72 Strike force just before your elections?! Fyi,he ain't Chinese! We've made some mistakes due to corruption and bad leadership. Nigeria has a country should have never requested for eeben Barlow's assistance. In terms of training, we had it but the guys morale was do down. They played politics with terrorism and our troops were under armed. I want you to know if it was an invasion by a foreign military, such thing won't happen. BHT was politically motivated and the military and defence chiefs then were full of corruption. The Nigerian military now is undergoing alot of reforms and we've seen great developments. However, the fact that BHT made joke of our military then still remains in the news. The Nigerian military however still hold it's position as one of the best in Africa. The government needs to review it's procurement policies and fasten up things. Those Yahbon flash UAV, the JF17. We need more things from the Navy, I'm interested in that SSV as that will challenge NN for AA, ashw etc. Some of these arguments here are unnecessary. |

Bro, he's the eyes of an IRT which means his id has been compromised already. Those guys in the pictures are assault team members. The guy doing the main intelligence are unknown to the public. |

frumentius: Neither do I. I too would also like to know how Saudi money is behind Senegal's upgrade of its military. All along I thought their expeditionary doctrine is influenced and funded by the real "Giant of West Africa", France. France may have enough military presence In WA but her colonies are still under equipped. |

Henry240: Countries such as Senegal and the Ivory Coast have been re-organising thier military. Offcourse they are not run by Dictators but we can see investments are bearing good fruits. True, Ivory Coast has a long way, still to go, but they have been investing.
We all saw how swagged up the Senegalese looked in Gambia, with additional Saudi money, i expect reforms to continue. I don't understand the Saudi money stuff. Can you explain cc: covert1 |
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by tdayof(m): 1:45pm On Jul 13, 2017 |
Henry240: We will have to wait and see what the Nigerian navy is interested in. However if we eventually do get the SSV, i'm sure the navy would go for missile boats also.
In terms of a Corvette, we should continue with the Type-056.
That been said, the Senegalese purchase is very good and practical. Saudi money is doing good for them. If we get the SSV, NN as a professional force knows she needs to get frigates or corvettes. The type 056 this time, will be well armed. |

Henry240: As well as Senegal, Gabon and Guinea have also ordered 2 KCR-60 missile vessels each. 4 boats in all from PT PAL.
So we have;
Senegal: 1 SSV, 3 KCR-60 and 2 KCR-45
Gabon: 2 KCR-60
Guinea: 2 KCR-60 This is a challenge tho. With those capabilities, they are simply taking over the West African waters . I am waiting for NN final decision on PT PAL. We need the SSV and some frigates . |

Damn we have got over 6 airliners in out presidential fleet already so I doubt this. Sputnik seems to be confused except the government wants to use them to set up Nigerian Airways. |

That's basically my only problem with it. 1) The tyre is perfectly the size, just that it was turned in a different manner. 2) for suspension or whatsoever .. Anyway seems nemesis2u said think think think, I guess he has an idea so he should tell us. |

bidexiii: Heap have seeing it too, BHT using the captured women has shield. Nice intelligent gathering by the NAF . Exactly. I saw a Mi-24/35 then the video moved to a the Alpha Jet firing rockets at BHT position. Anyway, NAF should try and sweep road before such escort next time. That road was obviously not safe because I don't expect BHT to be able to move around with technical in such area. They started shooting immediately after the Military convoy passed. |

Saw the video of BHT attacking the NA NPF convoy. It was nice to see BHT recording NAF firing at their own position. However due to civilians hostages already taken, I guess that was why NAF was unable to do much. |
