If truly their meetings in USA resolved “to work and stand with Nigeria to stop impunity and killing of citizens of Nigeria.” why should security agents in Nigeria be worried about that ? One would have thought that the efforts of NIA should be directed to addressing the Killer Herdmens problem rather than wasting resources to track individuals and Governors. Actions speaks louder than words. If the Nigerian Government has already put the machinery in motion to deal with these herdsmen, then they should focus on that and not worry about any one having meetings in USA. When Nigeria is good and the people feel safe, no propaganda from vested interests will matter. The government will only be lambasted and loose face in USA or the West if they have paid leap service to the people and not truly addressed the issues of security as they are saying they are doing. Having Keyamo as spokesman will not change that impression as peoples experiences will dictate how the administration is perceived. Either way, the ball is in the Nigerian government's hands. I will say focus on the job at hand, which is not an easy one, and let your results and not your words, speak for you. |
The difference here is that nobody has threatened his life or killed him. He has not had to go into hiding..... Perhaps a lesson for some people inn Northern Nigeria. If a Muslin Imam had openly come out to convert to Christ, what would be the reaction ? Food for thought. Tolerance and respect for other peoples choices is called for... |

This is exactly how being overly heavy handed with Boko Haram people led us to where we are today. Amazing how people have short memories. People suspected of crimes are supposed to be arrested and tried, not beaten, shot and killed on the streets. In balancing the argument, it is only fair that the military protect the cCOS and repel the immediate attack. But to go on a further revenge rampage mission against un-armed civilians is wrong. No one prays for another agrieved set of people to start their own so called "holy" war in revenge for how they were treated. This is how Boko Haram started. May God help us all and give the military some wisdom.... |
People who are cheering must realise that this can happen to you and your family members unchecked where there is no rule of law being enforced. DOnt assume that this only hapens to people presumed guilty..... This could hapen to you if you cross or offend someone powerful enough. See the case of the ex-DG of SSS who was forcibly ejected.... This is the display of the same impunity that was detested under the previous regime. |
The arguments of his guilt or whether he is an aleged thief is irrelevant. It is a worrying development for DSS or Police or whosoever to infringe the rights of citizens regardless of whether they are presumed guilty or innocent. The facts of the matter are that the man had obtained bail. I could not care less about the man but it is completely wrong in a democracy for this to hapen. |
Sahara Liars. You aught to apologise to the man himself first! |
This is a non story and politically motivated...Read the womans letter |
What is vigorous about the normal security checks one has to do at the airport? This title is mis leading |
Dustmalik, I agree that anybody can be sacked and especially for incompetence. However, to insinuate deliberateness, takes things to a different dimension. that is my point. Perharps a retraction of that point will suffice ? |
In as much as i would like to see Joy Ogwu sacked or be recalled by the federal government for her incompetency and for deliberately sabotaging Buhari's itineraries which, in turn, led to a gargantuan embarrassment on the person of my beloved President, it's not possible. Though her tenure expires in December 2015, which is barely two months from now. The emboldened, in my opinion, means she can't be sacked or recalled by the federal government. Read belowWhy would you jump to the conclusion that Joy Ogwu deliberately sabotaged your "beloved" presidents itinery. What evidence do you have to butress your assertions.?. You really aught to write in measured tones and put forth your arguments in a manner that is not libelous to others. Your bias against Joy Ogwu speaks volumes and has clearly tainted your thinking.. You should have stuck to your point about her alleged incompetence, rather than introduce your poisonous bias into this discourse. What next, because of her tribe, religeon ? is that why she "deliberately" sabotaged the president ? Give me a break...!!!!! |
Should this be true, it will be a welcome development. The funding would most likely have been sourced from abroad as it is inconceivable that looted funds would be openly invested in Nigeria. Doing so will be counterproductive as one would expect looters to stash the cash away somewhere and run for cover, especialy given the new era of the re-invigorated EFCC in Nigeria with the arrival of GMB. It therefore stands to reason that the project would be plausibly a genuine one.. so we salute this illustrios project which will add to our development as a nation. |
It amazes me how People are so gullible and stupid. The man (Saraki) has dual nationality purely arising from where he was born. Nigeria allows dual nationality. So what is the fuss about. He declared his Nigerian origins in his INEC form. The man has never acquired another Nationality,. he is both British and Nigerian at the same time. If it is a requirement that one can not hold dual nationality as a Senate president, i am sure he would simply give up the British passport...So what is all the fuss about ? You people should think before making silly noises about Sahara reporters "advertisement" for APC, clearly designed to frustrate Saraki. Unfortunately APC is already making some of the very same "witch hunting" mistakes the PDP made and which drove its members into the arms of the APC. In this case, it is rather early of the APC so be doing so..... APC, please get on with governance and stop all this cock and bull stories. Pdp tried the same tactics with Buhari's certificate saga, but it did not work. |
who ever wrote this and whoever believes them are honestly gullible and stupid (in that order). Please Ask questions if you are not sure and stop spewing out rubbish. Oritsejafor is seen with a bottle of annointing oil and anointing the place...The writer aught to know the difference between libation and annointing oil.. |
The Presidency is investigating alleged breach of protocol by the Clerk by attending the breaking of fast with the President. Is this the best use of resources ? Investigating people for attending breaking of fast? |
Buhari makes it clear that he will not discriminate against any area, including those that voted for him,. the people that are saying otherwise clearly did not watch the video. This is being unnecesarilly blown out of proportion and taken out of context.. Watch the video for yourself please !"£$%^ |
what is the name of the competition ? |
They rely on foreign tourists. Broadcast your experience on Trip advisor, Twitter and Facebook and which ever websites people visit to find views and ratings of hotels. The bad PR will force them to contact you and apologise and will loose them business |
dignity33:Lost professional honour in whose rating, yours ?. What a joke She was the only modicum of sanity in a system otherwise bereft of direction and she brought a lot if sense and accountability to the job if you may know. Never mind that she is now being tarred with the same brush as others that are profoundly disliked...Governors looking for cheap publicity are jumping on the mob mentality bandwagon... The real question that should be answered is what exactly has Oshiomole done with the funds he has collected so far...Not much is the answer. It might serve the comrade governor better to get on with the job... |
APC, Oshiomole and Co, please get on with turning the country around. Throwing stones at the old administratio never solved any problems. Soon the people will turn on APC if there is no visible progress. |
On the Nigeria front: Try and get official confirmation from Nigeria that you did enter / leave UK Get airline information (boarding pass etc.) Get personal statements from people that you did work /functions with when you came to Nigeria Pictures if any On your home front: Get Written statement from your wife / friends / Acquaintances in your base, confirming your absence and travel itinerary as far as they are knowledgeable about it. Any information and or evidence when you travelled to UK Airport (e.g. taxi receipts etc.) into the UK and Out of the UK. Gather all the evidence you can substantiating your position. Then put together a letter (with the help of a lawyer) and give the British High Commission a set time to review and reverse their decision, failing which you will take legal action. If they do not acquiesce and your evidence is correct, then consider suing them in the UK courts. I must add that you must make sure you are genuinely honest and telling the truth,. DO NOT FABRICATE ANY EVIDENCE as it will backfire Good luck |
The British High Commission has no right to seize a Nigerian Passport in the first place. If you can prove that you indeed entered Nigeria and left UK. Put your evidence together and sue them in the UK court. |
