The Jonathan group was quite matured. They did not respond to all the blame and accusations all this while. They gave them 2 years to work and fulfil all their campaign promises which GEJ knew were unfulfilable except through magic. Rather than own up, they are still giving excuses. Well 2019 is around the corner. Lets hear what they will tell us this time. Maybe they will blame GEJ for their inability to perform. Maybe Nigerians will agree they have done well, we cant tell. Lets keep our hands crossed.

I think you are the one that is confused. Read before you make irritating comments. I said to ASUU, not to me, this the ideal time. Frankly, I get irritated by stupid comments when people who think they want to correct you are the ones that need to be corrected.

The compliance level in the northern universities will be low because they will be told the strike is against Buhari and northern interest but to me, I think the timing is wrong because you dont make those demands from a country in ressession. From ASUU perspective, this is the appropriate time to hold government to ransome because campaigns and elections will soon start which I dont think is right.

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that he is in fine health and is only obeying the orders of his Doctors by remaining in London.

Buhari said that there was a tremendous improvement in his health and wishes to return home, "but I've learnt to obey my doctor's orders, rather than be the one issuing the orders. Here, the doctor is absolutely in charge."

The President spoke while receiving the presidential media team, and the Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters, at Abuja House, London, on Saturday. On how he felt hearing different conjectures about his health, an amused President Buhari said he followed events at home closely, lauding Nigerian television stations, and the media generally, for keeping him informed.

When told that prayers were going on fervently for him, not only in Nigeria, but all over Africa, and round the world, a delighted President said: "What we did in The Gambia early this year fetched us a lot of goodwill on the African continent. It gave us a lot of latitude. I thank all those who are praying. May God reward them."

President Buhari sent appreciation to all Nigerians, expressing hope that he would be with them soon.

There is the consensus that the north should be allowed to take another shot in 2019 to complete their 2nd term for equity sake. But if the entire south decides to team with probably the middle belt to install a southerner as president, I am sure the north that are accusing the igbo of hitting up the polity will do worse than what they say the igbos are doing. I am not igbo, but if the north will feel bad if a southerner emerges president in 2019, then they can feel how bad the igbos are presently in the power equation with the unacceptable 95% to 5% ratio. You cant be flogging a child relentlessly and tell the same child not to cry. I repeat I am not igbo but nigeria belongs to all of us. No one is born to rule over another. If we want peace there must be equity.

Truth is that there are many nigerian politicians walking about freely that are supposed to be in jail. Ibori and Alamasika stepped on toes. A typical Nigerian politician, whether free or arraigned and convicted, they are all thieves, no apologies. Those not convicted are as guilty as the convicted ones. Those not caught are just smart. Directly or indirectly, they have stolen our common wealth and this is irrespective of whether they are APC or PDP. To me, Ibori is not different from Markarfi, Tinubu and Fashola even those ones are moving about like saints even under police protection.

The most senior level 17 director in the ministry or parastatal is automatically in line to attain the level of permanent secretary once the current one vacates or retired.
