u want to know what i think of dis ??

hate!!!...

first off....i understand linda is a blogger...posting news...asin xclusives.....is her job...#Gossip

do i need to xplain dat ??...i didnt think so

so my questions is....

why are ppl mad dat she brought their dirty linens out to d public ??

to me she has done nothing wrong....if u keep ur life private...their is no way she will invade and no whats up....#obviously she is not a witch

u all know...chioma chukwuka Akpotha....am sure alot of us dont even know what her husband looks like...or how many kids she has...or how dey look...

this is because she lives a private life....making it hard for bloggers to feed on her scandals or achievements....their are alot of celebs like her

bt then if u are d type dat bare all ur privacy to d public/social media...or u have crews dat cant keep a secret..its practically no ones fault if ur skeleton crawls outta d cupboard ....

plus if u re someone dat goes online to claim things u re not.....be ready to bear d consequences if u re bursted...not get mad or threaten ppl...

i see nothing wrong here....she is a blogger..she did what so many bloggers in her shoe will do....

one will ask ...cant we socialise because of bloggers??

i think d answer is....u can !!

bt den u will have to be conscious of what u do...mhen like yea...u re celebrity...all eyes will be on you..ur every moves..dressing..shape...hair..make up..bag..lifestyle......practically everything

dats d price u pay for fame....so dont blame it on anyone...

u dont go around..mess up..and when a blogger posts it..he/she is guilty of defaming u....naahhh

as a celeb...u ve got thousand of invisible eyes watching over u....waiting to see u miss-step...and once u do....trust me...it will blow up......

so instead of hating on dat lady...

i will advice dose affected to restructure dia lifestyle and bear in mind dat ppl will always watch what dey do....

talk more of bloggers dat depend on it for a living...

so if u give dem the cheese...expect dem to bite deeply into it....

thanks.#

If you are Nigerian and a regular internet user, this shouldn’t be a new story as this has been on for weeks now.Linda Ikeji has been on top page of most news blogs, discussion forum and news headlines in Nigeria. This stare as a matter of fact has been on for long ,but her recent misunderstanding with Wizkid swept the dirt out.

My Opinion: When things like this happens its normal for people to take sides, and that’s exactly what’s happening.Success they say ,comes with lots of sweetening at same time bitterness,My candid advice for Linda, take is slow and low as haters are on the look!My advice for Rivalries/haters/beefers/persecutors/fault finders/anything you call it.Work hard,do all you can,be yourself, earn more, face life as its a game of choice. Now I’m not in support of infringing on others privacy but if that person has spoken for himself /herself let it be rather than hearers propagating it .We should live at peace and not war !My 1 kobo advice. We are all humans looking for our daily bread!

Romance11 Things Men Won't Understand About Women by teegrams(op): 5:41pm On Apr 17, 2016
There are some things in this life that you won't understand as a man.Redditors decided to discuss and create a list of the things that men will simply never understand about life as a woman. [Read more...]
1. Periods

The horror of a sneeze, described by redditor Vinnara as:

Wondering if you are going to get lucky, or instead get the dreaded 'oh god it feels like I just birthed a jellyfish' feeling.

2. Being able to somehow be a size 0 and also a size 8

Women's clothing sizes are completely arbitrary according to the vanity-sizing fashion industry.
3. The horrific feeling of putting on a bra on a cold winter morning

But the absolute glory in taking it off in the evening.
4. Baby and bridal showers

The co-ed ones that men are invited to aren't the same beast in any way.

You can't not go and it's purgatory, fawning over a child or a mother for years. No one cares that much.

Your offspring isn't even that cute. Why am I here?
5. How much boobs can get in the way of everyday activities

Also the occasional adjustments required - don't make it awkward, don't make eye contact, don't comment, we're just trying to avoid an incident here.
6. Pregnancy

A human is growing inside you, you may have felt a heartbeat, seen them on a screen, felt them kick.

You worry about what you eat because it may not be safe for them, you get pains often and worry about them often, your hormones are in flux, you don't want to be treated as if you're made of glass.

If you get through all nine months, you then have to push it out of your tearing vagina.

And then you have a child.
7. Shaving

We're all mammals and have roughly the same amount of fur. That's a lot of razor blades and surface area.

Rashes, ingrown hairs, itchy stubble, cuts.

All in the pursuit of feeling and being felt silky smooth.
8. Constantly being expected to smile
No.
9. Going from being underestimated because you're a child......to being underestimated because you're a woman.

10. What it feels like to be weaker than most people who desire you Feeling like you're being paranoid for the everyday reminder that most men wouldn't, but most men probably could, do you harm if they wanted to.

11. Trying on clothes while wearing lipstick

Forgetting to suck your lips in and causing a smudge and therefore necessary purchase of said white blouse. Regrettable.

HealthThe Benefits Of Guava For The Skin by teegrams(op): 7:35pm On Apr 15, 2016
The skin is the largest organ in the human body and its condition speaks volumes about your health. Rashes, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and oily, dry and aged skin, may reflect stress, lack of exercise or a poor diet. Improving your skin's health is possible in a variety of ways, including adding more skin-supportive nutrients in your diet.
Guava is a tropical fruit that tastes like a cross between a strawberry and a pear, and it provides several nutrients that support skin maintenance. Including it in your diet may help you make progress toward the beautiful complexion you want that is more than just skin deep.

Vitamin K
Treat skin discoloration, such as dark circles, spider veins, rosacea, acne irritation and overall splotchiness, with vitamin K. It heals because it improves blood coagulation, which is impaired in cases of skin redness and irritation. A guava provides 1.4 micrograms of vitamin K, which is about 2 percent of the 80 micrograms Food and Drug Administration daily value.

Vitamin C
The amount of vitamin C in a guava is more than twice the 60 milligrams of the FDA daily value, which is good news for skin healing because it contributes to generation of collagen, the substance that gives skin its firmness. Include more vitamin C-rich foods like guava in your diet to improve the tautness of your skin and reduce the impact of aging.

And in his “Urban Jungle” series, he focuses on the colors and vertigo-inducing heights of the hectic Sheung Wan, Wan Chai, and Sham Shui Po districts.

Based in Hong Kong, Yeung first picked up a camera in 2005. He focuses on landscape, architecture, and travel photography. His drone-based shots above the city have received international media attention. Some of the highlights follow.

BusinessSnapchat Overtakes Instagram As 'most Important Social Network' Among Teens by teegrams(op): 12:05pm On Apr 14, 2016
Maybe Facebook should have tried harder to buy Snapchat
The disappearing messaging app just surpassed Instagram as the "most important social network" among teens, according to a new Piper Jaffray report.

In a survey of 6,500 U.S. teens, 28% named Snapchat as the most important service compared to 27% who named Instagram. (The teens surveyed ranged in age from 14 to 19.)

While the one percentage point difference may seem insignificant, the change in perception over time is very significant.

Instagram has been at the top position of this study for almost two years. Last spring Instagram was named by 32% as the top choice of teens, and last fall 33% named it as the most important.

Snapchat was named by 13% and 19% during those same time periods.

Twitter(TWTR, Tech30) and Facebook (FB, Tech30) were third and fourth in the latest survey, while Yahoo (YHOO, Tech30)-owned Tumblr rounded out the top five.

Facebook bought Instagram in 2012 for $1 billion. The following year, Facebook tried to buy Snapchat for $3 billion.

Snapchat turned down the offer and hasn't looked back.

In both cases, Facebook wanted to grow its audience and product line.

With Instagram, it gained an app that appealed to people who skewed younger and female.

Snapchat could have given Facebook that plus a popular messaging platform.

Given how dominant messaging apps have become, it's no surprise that teens say Snapchat is the most important social network. Messaging is a just form of socializing, but it's more intimate, and doesn't force people to think about how to broadcast their personality across the Web.

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has frowned at the calls in some quarters for the resignation of Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, over the ongoing nationwide fuel scarcity.
CAN, in a statement by its South-East chapter in Enugu, Thursday, said attacks on Kachikwu were misdirected considering that he was merely the minister of state, whereas Buhari is the Petroleum Minister.

The statement issued by Most Rev. David Eberechukwu, strongly condemned the calls for Kachikwu’s resignation and asked “what happens to the main minister, President Buhari? Will he also resign?”

He expressed surprise “over the attack on Kachikwu by Nigerians, even those that are supposed to know better.”

Eberechukwu in the statement further faulted at what he termed “nonchalant attitude of President Muhammadu Buhari over the attacks on our people in the South-East and the Agatu community in Benue State.

“The National Assembly should do something to stop this attack of Fulani herdsmen. It has never been like this before; the Fulani herdsmen we see now are not the same of those days.

“How come they now carry AK-47 and pump actions rifles? Who is pursuing them and who are they pursuing? This is quite unfortunate,” he said.

FamilyHere’s How 9 Other Countries Celebrate Mother’s Day by teegrams(op): 6:00pm On Apr 13, 2016
The holiday has roots in America, but it's celebrated around the world

Sons, daughters and husbands across the U.S. were picking up their last-minute gifts this week ahead of the annual ritual to honor mothers. Like every year since it became a national holiday a century ago, moms will be showered with cards, chocolates and flowers on Sunday.

But Mother’s Day, unlike those All-American dates of Thanksgiving and July 4, is not exceptional to the U.S. In many countries, religious or cultural holidays revolving around women and families have evolved into the their own celebrations of motherhood. In other countries, the Hallmark-card-giving American holiday has merely been imported. And in still others, it’s something of a mix.

Here’s a look at how nine countries around the world honor their moms.

France

A 1950 law in France establishes the “fetes des meres” on the fourth Sunday in May (May 25 this year), except when it overlaps with Pentecost, in which case it’s pushed back a week. But beyond the date, Mother’s Day in France looks very similar to in the U.S.—cards and flowers are bestowed and family dinners are had.

China

While relatively new to the country, the imported holiday of Mother’s Day aligned with traditions of filial piety in China, as it has in countries the world-over. On the second Sunday of May, an increasing number of Chinese celebrate the day with gifts and festivities.

U.K.

As early as the 16th century, the U.K. observed on the fourth Sunday of Lent a day called Mothering Sunday, when families came together to attend church. In the early 20th century, Mothering Sunday—which had evolved into a tradition of spending family time at home—was fused with the Hallmark-card-giving American holiday, but it has retained its traditional name and date (March 15 this year).

Mexico

Mexico takes very Mother’s Day very seriously. In fact, Manuel Gutierrez, president of the national association of restaurateurs, told the Washington Post in 2012 that May 10—whatever the day of the week—is the busiest day of the year for Mexican restaurants. Flowers are a must, but the day is also filled with music, food, celebrations, and often a morning serenade of the song “Las Mananitas” from mariachi singers:

“Awaken, my dear, awaken/ and see that the day has dawned/ now the little birds are singing/ and the moon has set.”

India

Mother’s Day is a rather new phenomenon in India, but the imported holiday is making up for lost time. On the second Sunday of May (May 11 this year, just like in the U.S.), mothers are showered with flowers, cards and gifts.

Japan

Japan initially aligned Haha no Hi with the birthday of Empress Koujun, whose tenure spanned most of the 20th century. But Mother’s Day has since been moved to the second Sunday in May, when the Japanese load their mothers with gifts—primarily flowers. A recent poll of 1,000 adult men found that 87% planned to give something to their moms.

Russia

In the former Soviet Union, mothers were celebrated on International Women’s Day on March 8, a celebratory date that has since become an internationally-observed day to honor women and reflect on the goal for gender equality. In 1998, post-Soviet Russia introduced Mother’s Day on the last Sunday in November, but most of the gift giving still happens in March.

Egypt

Mother’s Day in Egypt and several other Arab countries falls on March 21, the first day of spring. The widely observed unofficial national holiday is a day of gift-giving and celebration.

Thailand

The holiday is observed on Aug. 12 to mark the birthday of the revered Queen Sirikit. Ceremonies and parades celebrate the dual intentions of the holiday, with jasmine the go-to gift.

More than 1,200 years after it was compiled and over 130 after it arrived in Europe, one of the oldest copies of the Quran is now fully digitized and available online.

The 8th-century manuscript can now be accessed on the British Library’s website. Placed on the library’s digitized manuscripts site, it comprises 121 folios containing over two-thirds of the complete text.
One of the oldest copies of the Quran (prophet Mohammed died in CE 632), it is also one of the largest of the known fragments of the holy book written in the māʼil script. The Arabic word mā’il means “sloping” and refers to the sloping style of the script—one of a number of early Arabic ones collectively named “Hijazi”, after the region in which they were developed.

This manuscript was purchased by the British Museum in 1879 from Greville John Chester (1830-1892), an ordained clergyman who made numerous trips to Egypt and the near east. It is likely that Chester acquired it in Egypt.
The earliest Quran manuscripts were produced in the mid-to-late 7th century. Ancient copies from this period have not survived intact and exist only in fragments.
There are no vowel signs in the early Quran, and this early style of script is also notable for its lack of diacritical marks to distinguish between letters of similar shape.

The importance of this Quran cannot be overestimated. It, along with other available fragments, provides the only available evidence for the early development of the written recording of the holy text and helps understand how early Quran codices were produced.

Seeing an officer in uniform trying to stop a moving bike with two passenger by force would normally arouse the attention of an average Nigerian.

I was facing a little issue with my car ,waiting patiently for the mechanic when the sight of a police man trying to drag a moving bike with two passengers caught my attention.

Barely did I remember my problems when I decided to see what happened.

This unlawful incident happened today at about 1pm in Ayede Ogbesse area Ondo state. This community as facts have it, is known for barbarism, cultivation of cannabis and rude timber dealers.

Back to the incident, I got closer to see what was actually happening, I realized a huge chaos was about to take place. My wife ran back for safety . I looked ahead only to see this hoodlums trying to get rid of the policeman by grabbing his gun ,but the policeman in his frantic effort wouldn't submit to their will. It was a great tussle, the policemen on his team fired shots in the air,but this hoodlums weren't scared.I scampered for safety ,as the struggle continued more people nearby gathered and settled the conflict.I moved closer at that time to get more picture of the story only to see the officer soaked in blood as he was injured, other officers who were on his patrol had joined to separate the fight at that point but the officers cloth were torn and he was bleeding.
From my own perspective this animalous behavior displayed by this hoodlum simply shows they have no regards for the law and that they were really lawless. To buttress my point, the head of the team came to the scene only for him to call the chief who this hoodlums answers to ,to come take a look at what his boys had done to his officer.Nigeria!now this is corruption !

My opinion: The hoodlums gallantly displayed such animalous behavior because they have a godfather they answer to who also has the policemen on his payroll.
It wasn't a surprise when those gathered around blamed the bleeding officer while his team leader asked him to go get medical help
Which way Nigeria which way.
