Lover Boi Swag: 10 Reasons why Seun osewa is our new Madiba...I see sarcasm dripping from this post. |
I always see the glass as half full. Shows optimism on my part and if I persist, it would transform from half full to very full and pouring over. |
jay bee: No be our fault naHehehe. Typical you. Will a thread like this ever pass you by without you dropping a comment. Happy birthday to the junior jay bee. Wishing him many more years. |

They are still basking in the euphoria of being married, hence the flaunting of the ring. |
PocketEconomist: My people sha. anyway to each his own. the most painful part is that it is the man who determines the sex. a case of wrong accusation on the woman. What can one do. the man who has a head is looking for a cap whilst the one with a cap is looking for the head in which to use the cap. If you read buchi emecheta's the joys of motherhood, you will understand that it is not today that serious emphasis is being laid on a woman to give birth to as many male children as possible Even those who are not well to do are looking for male children to succeed them. |
To the igbos a male child is a very big deal. They feel that it is the boy who carries on with the family lineage once the father is no more. Women are more relegated to the background because they are seen as another man's property who would end up bearing another man's name. Even when women give birth to baby girls, they would often be harassed with names such as a blunt blade that cannot cut common vegetable or a mother hen that cannot lay eggs. Quite pathetic. |
which improvement? power supply has become worse ever since phcn was privatised. on a very good day theres power supply for at least 16 to 18 hours, but now, thank your stars if you see light for even one hour. smh. ![]() |

personally i think it has to do with individual prefernces. you may not know it but there are girls who cherish flowers than monetary gifts. it is rather unfortunate that you probably have met girls who place monetary gifts over and above every other thing, hence the general belief that girls wont accept flowers as gifts. i would accept flowers afterall, is it not money that was used to buy that same flower. giving gifts do not matter, it is the thoughts behind that gift which means a lot to me. and in fact i would cherish that flower more than monetary gifts. oya bite me. |
habatically na, the message being conveyed is loud and clear na me get this house, so intruders should back off ![]() on a more serious note, it makes no sense leaving personal effects in a guys house. after all whether you leave am or you still carry am comot, a man would still do what he wants to do and nothing go happen last last relationship go end. ![]() |
chei.... thats something i cannot forget dude was a very good kisser, but he had a terrible mouth odour so bad that after the kissing bout, i spat in his presence. he felt bad but then what would i do.. btw first to comment. hehe |

In my village, its a taboo for any woman who is unmarried and has not yet done what is called "ikwa-ezi" to have sex or get pregnant. The moment she is caught, she is banished never to set foot there again. Very archaic if you ask me. |
