@firdaus4us, Why has it been so difficult for you to say what you had in mind? What is wrong with being a servant of God? Why all the games? |
Lol ![]() If it's not this one, it's Human Embryology. |
@Flowjay, Wetin dey vex you?? ![]() Flowjay:I like your choice of vocab at me and my Christian brethren. . . but you have not demonstrated any level of IQ. Until you do so, I would keep my fingers crossed for you! The thing about "ignorant intelligence" is that we know what we're talking about. The common sense thing to do would be to point out the flaws in our rejoinders, and show us HOW we got it all wrong! Failing to do so and sobbing all at once is making it difficult for me to concentrate on gaining more "ignorant intelligence"!! ![]() Flowjay:First, it was nuru I was questioning; and not God. Second, nuru is not God, nor has he been able to demonstrate common sense here - even so far as having been unable to answer his own question!! Not one Muslim (except sandoka) has been honest enough to kindly show how our rejoinders are skewed or wide of berth to the core issues raised here. How many of your Muslim brethren have answered any one of the 4 questions I posted initially?? After taking off from the thread, babs787 returned with his bragado style of circumventing questions because he felt the praises he got from his ilk were shortlived. And what happened after I explained the working of the qiblah detector to him? You don't use one set of ignorance to pepper another from your brethren. Flowjay:Belief may look strange; but we seek to understand rather than question the Almighty! Flowjay:Please go through the threads again - that question has been reharshed and circulated several times in various threads by your own Muslim apologists. Besides, islampride's blasphemous thread is still there for all to see how a Muslim behaves for nothing other than to justify his "ignorant intelligence". There has not been a coherent or consistent display of maturity coming from your camp - especially with the "tit-for-tat" games recently; so please don't make this cosmetic excuse that pretends these things don't exist among Muslims. Flowjay:Another cosmetic and pretentious excuse. These questions have been asked one too many times by Muslims. Go figure. Flowjay:We will miss you - NOT!! If you were being sincere, we would not be reading such snivels from you - especially because you're pretending the issues you're talking about don't exist among Muslims on this Forum. Flowjay:They will go there and see the maps, facts, evidences, and pictures I posted; plus the scholarly debates offered by other Christians to counter the cosmetic deception you guys often try to dribble around to coverup obvious shams. Regards. |
mukina2:Don't sob so hard. I'm not going to be here for long anyway. . . or I just might happen to stay for a lil longer!! ![]() mukina2:I noticed; and apologise to you about that. I can't excuse myself for only just joining the Forum; but you won't read me playing the "tit-for-tat" games. What astonishes me is that some lazy Muslims only slice their middle region in the process of defending their religion - because they think that by attacking Jesus and saying crazy things about Him, they're getting back at Christians! ![]() More than that, this is the first place where I'm reading of a Muslim referring to Muslim authors as "deluded authors that lied in order to deceive"!! ![]() mukina2:I've heard that, too. . . and I can't remember the text shown to me by one of my many rascal friends in school for that. I could post it if and when I find it. mukina2:Not true, and that's the interpretation often given to excuse common sense for ignorance. If at all, the same "making fun" can be said of your Muslim apologists whom I don't remember you guys saying anything of caution to when they go happy clappy on their adventures. And I'm being honest. mukina2:Did you say anything about the propaganda posting of the Khadijat who claimed that she had seen the light in Islam after having been a pastor for over a decade? Her propaganda story was posted on this Forum; but I did not see any Muslim object to that! mukina2:I believe everyone is intelligent enough to hold an honest and intellectual debate, until proven otherwise. Infact sef, no be Qur'an talk say there are men devoted to learning among the Christians?? ![]() mukina2:And Muslims have all claimed from their Qur'an that Christians are pagans and the worst of creatures!! Am I lying?? mukina2:The choice is yours - and you know light when you see it! mukina2:I never heard it preached at all like that in Islam. Allah in Islam has never said he is "for us all!" |
muhsin:@muhsin, I think that's a convenient way of saying: "I think babs787 has no answers!" Please read the question again and then re-read babs' answer: Question: "is it true that when Christians refer to Jesus as God, they are worshipping a false god?" babs: "We muslims do not worship Jesus and do not regard him as God." Now muhsin, was I asking about what MUSLIMS do or not do about Jesus?? I would very much appreciate an honest answer from Muslims. If this question cannot be answered, then none of the questions posed by your Muslim apologists are worth reading. |
@Realpoint, The answers given so far by Muslims - whether facing EAST or Kaa'ba - are borne out of ignorance! Even common sense geography is vacant in most of their answers - except the forthright and honest answer from one Muslim so far: sandoka!! Should we even leave the issue of cardinal directions (east, west, north south) for a moment, have you taken a closer look at nuru's questions and answers which you quoted in your response, and see how he flunks it out of IGNORANCE!! The guy is clueless about who Christ is; and I've had to show him answers from the Bible! Now, I observe that anytime the Muslim is pointed to straightforward, no-nonsense answers, they come up with some verses from the Qur'an which they apply as soothing balm to the bruise of the ignorance. You may be a Muslim and be proud of it; and we're all happy for you. But to plaster the shame of the vacancy of thought and scholarship at the basic level is, to me, simply out of this world! Let me ask you: when have Muslims ever believed anything when they've been pointed out lucidly?? Only the sensible ones are leaving Islam and finding grace and salvation in Jesus Christ! It would be such a delight to read from the likes of sandoka who, in telling the truth, has earned my respect! |
mukina2:. . . And I'm still laughing! ![]() mukina2:Lai-lai!! I will never gee vup on you! mukina2:No one is seeking to get at you. ![]() mukina2:Great! With the lost Torah and Injil! Let's celebrate! ![]() |
@nuru, nuru:We hear. So, if I am hugging and caressing a tree for the purpose of worship, you can assert that it is not idolatory?!? ![]() nuru:That is a convenient definition of idolatory for the purpose of disguising the reality of the baneful practice. As defined in the Torah, idolatory is far reaching than that; and includes the venerationof, and reverence to, an object as included in worship. Ask, and I'll gladly explicate the issue of the BLACK STONE for what it really is - with hard "facts, evidence, maps, and pictures". nuru:Okay, back to reality. I have just one question: why was the BLACK STONE nowhere mentioned in the Torah as part of the worship in the lives of Adam, Abraham and the Jews?? nuru:Actually, Christ knows exactly what people say and think in their hearts. In Luke 9:47, we read that He perceived the thoughts that were in the disciples' hearts (see also Luke 5:22). In Matt. 9:4, we read: "And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?" nuru:That's true - just as has been outlined above about Christ. nuru:Again, you wouldn't exist without Christ, of whom it is written: "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." -- John 1:3. nuru:He is more than that; and even in Islam, He is accorded a superlative position than the Qur'an accorded Muhammad. nuru:Not even the Qur'an teaches this. Muhammad was onced asked about the Spirit. His answer showed how blank he was about who the Spirit of God is. Rather, he said only Allah knew - and that was simply because he had mistaken Jibril for the Spirit. nuru:Facing the Qiblah is not the same thing as focusing on God; in as much as you have not explicated the "symbolic" significance of the BLACK STONE! nuru:In other words, you were unable to answer your own question?? Awww. nuru:We are not disputing what the Lord says. Rather, we are not that gullible to swallow what even Muslims have been unable to defend for themselves before asking others to swallow. |
@olutomiwa, olutomiwa:God bless you many times more! ![]() |
@nuru, nuru:Ah-a! Wetin happen to the claim that Abraham built Allah's house on that very spot; then pagans took over; then 40 years inbetween Muhammad overtook Noah and today - viola!!?? Infact, I really want to know where the commandment of the Jerusalem direction fit in all this Adam-to-Abraham and then Kaa'ba issue. nuru:Islam does not claim that they are plausible; rather, Muhammad wanted everyone to believe nothing else than his own version - whether or not plausible. nuru:The theory of Plate Tectonics developed in 1912 by Alfred Wegener, a German meteorologist; in which he saw a single super continent that he called Pangea. Over a long period of time, the super continent split up into large continents, Gondwanaland and Laurasia surrounding the ancient Tethys sea. You can have a glance in the following link to understand just a bit of this theory: http://www.stvincent.ac.uk/Resources/EarthSci/Tectonics/ However, what should come to our attention here is the recontructed tales told by Muslim apologists (they're at it again O!). Take this statement in your post: "given the location of Makkah, you would almost conclude that the Kaaba is at the centre of the surface of the earth". Oga, sorry. . . but that is simply not true. The position of Makkah/Mecca is way skewed from the continental fault lines to be regarded as the center of the surface of the earth!! Na who sell you that lecture sef?? Take a look at the map below and please try and locate you Makkah to see for yourself! https://www.stvincent.ac.uk/Resources/EarthSci/Tectonics/images/atlcont.gif You can trace the continental coastlines to see that your assumptions are not anywhere near accurate. Infact, to bring the view of the faultline closer, see the map below: So, nuru, where did you pick up your geography lessons?? Do you realize that there are reknowned Muslim geographers of centuries past? One of them is Ibn Batuta, and he didn't fall for this nonsense that modern Muslim apologists are trying shakara the pucblic with! nuru:In just one statement, the above simply collapses flat on the fact that everyone facing EAST cannot ALL be facing the Kaa'ba! There's just no way Muslims are going to dribble round this issue. I am quite aware that Muslims have come up with at least 5 ways to locate the Qibla. Those who use those five ways of finding the Qibla location are careful to not mention the "east" - because they know that the theory earlier given for this concerning facing the EAST cannot be substantiated - even from their holy books! nuru:I really hope for once you guys will simply face facts and give glory to God on the truth being revealed to you from those whom your Qur'an accuse of being pagans! |
@nuru, nuru:I have a couple of questions for you with regards to your post: # Where do Muslims themselves get the idea that they face the EAST when praying? # Are there verses in the Qur'an and Hadiths stipulating the direction Muslims face for salat? # What was the main reason why Muhammad was first facing Jerusalem in his prayers? # What was the main reason why Muhammad turned from Jerusalem to the Kaa'ba? # Why was the prayer direction not first towards the Kaa'ba but rather towards Jerusalem? There are so many questions that keep popping up with responses like yours, because they either deliberately ignore the very issues that many Muslims have been pushing across board; or else such responses are made in compromisive stances of what has been debunked. nuru:Perhaps, you might agree with most of us that supplications involves "prayer" in some measure. So another question: why are Muslims obligated to face the direction of the Kaa'ba when "praying"?? nuru:Which does not answer the question just above. However, after how many centuries of obeying 'Allah', what then are the "comprehensive reasons for the commandment"?? nuru:If there are "errors" and people find themselves committing such errors under the magnanimous latitude that His face is everywhere, then what then is the rational for the "commandment" in the first place?? Second, although this might be an offtopic issue, but I find it quizzical that most Muslims claim on the one hand that 'Allah' cannot be compared to anything and anyone; but on the other hand they speak of 'Allah' having a face - and that face is everywhere!!! That doesn't seem practical, especially when Muslims condemn the doctrines of other religions in order to promote theirs. nuru:The spiritual statement says only one thing: meaninglessness. Sorry, but that is precisely what Muhammad's companions confessed when following the example of the prophet of Islam who KISSED THE BLACK STONE! Please nuru, if this spiritual statement is going anywhere at all, then you would have to explain to us the spiritual significance of the BLACK STONE! The veneration given to that stone is begging for serious answers to the question of its being something akin to worshipping it. |
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Rom. 8:18-19 |
Hi @noibilism, noibilism:Although I'm not a muslim, the current development need not be embarrassing to your brethren - or even to us. There are quite a few active organizations holding such seminars by Muslims for Muslims. I don't have them with me presently (as I'm in an internet cafe); but when I get home, will post a few for your consideration. They may not be active in Nigeria, though. Anyhow, at the moment, perhaps the following might help towards your projects: "Poor Muslim-American Islamic-Investment Strategies The topic of this posting and a recent khutba is the real "Islamic finance": How to maximize the good that one can do, or in our quasi-materialistic religious rhetoric, how to maximize our wealth of hasanat or good deeds." Source: http://elgamal..com/2007/02/poor-muslim-american-islamic.html Cheers, and good luck in your aspirations. ![]() |
mukina2:@mukina2, Can you explain the following to me as to why they exist in Islam? Here: (a) Cancelled verses of the Qur'an (b) LOST BOOKS (Torah and Injil) of Allah (c) missing verses of the Qur'an (d) why the third Caliph Uthman burnt the other Qur'an copies of his day (e) the Qur'an cannot be translated because it immediately ceases being Allah's word. Just five questions for now. The reason I'm asking them is to seek answers from you and other Muslims concerning the claim of perfection of Islam's holy books. |
Another point is that none of the pictures or paintings that Muhammad prohibited were purposely made for worship. We should constantly keep in mind that it was about HUMAN BEINGS and ANIMALS that he made those prohibitions. For those who are arguing that the prohibitions were only for prophets, what has animals got to do with prophets?? |
davidylan:You know what? When I think of people making such wildly frantic statements as "east is east wherever one faces or stands", I recoil and ask myself if these folks have anything to offer. It is even more hilarious that most of their apologists pretend that Islam is "the most scientific" religion! Where did these guys put their brains?? |
kewe:Infact, you have summarized so neatly for me. kewe:True talk! Super! kewe:Well, I'm blushing. If you could say all I had to say in just two lines, I should rather be the one envying you!! ![]() |
davidylan:Aahh!! I forgot the CCCA! ![]() |
jiddah:That would be arguing with eyes closed to the facts. At least, another Muslim who has a good knowledge of simple Geography has admitted that is not the case!! Scroll up and see sandoka's frank and no-nonsense post! jiddah:Another argument from eyes closed. The East for Australians is not the East of South Americans. jiddah:What direction? Is Allah located in the east? Is it not to the Kaa'ba that they direct their faces when praying? jiddah:If God is not in a particular place, what is so vital about facing one direction? jiddah:Good. Now you're coming home closer to truth. Can you please tell us why Muhammad retained the BLACK STONE after asking that all other idols be swept out of the Kaa'ba?? jiddah:How have you argued out your case from knowledge if your Geography is skewed? Is your bias rather not bland? jiddah:What annoying remarks? How has questioning the idea of a faulty device stationed "EAST" now become annoying remarks?? |
dejia:I thought Chris Oyakhilome is Nigerian? donnie: |
mrpataki:It can be simplified this way: Question: Where are the Torah and Injil? Muslim: They are LOST and cannot be found!! Question: How then can Muhammad be found in the Deuteronomy and John's Gospel? Muslim: Those are not the Gospel and Torah that Allah sent down!! Question: Okay, so which ones did Muhammad use in his day? Muslim: Are you trying to tell me that those Gospels are the Injil? Question: I only asked you about what Torah and Injil Muhammad used! Muslim: Now answer my question first!! Question: Right then. There is no place in the Qur'an where a different Torah is spoken of. Infact, the Hadith said that Muhammad believed in the same Torah that the Jews used! Muslim: [panics and dashes to his favourte website to plagiarize materials; doesn't find a suitable one, and then returns with more panic] Well, I have 101 questions against Christianity; and you MUST answer me! Question: But you haven't answered the one on the Torah and the Injil?!? Muslim: It is glaring that you and your folks are crying. So answer me FIRST! Enter stimulus. . . stimulus: Muslim, I've answered some of your questions in a thread I opened! Muslim: [still dazed by pilgrim.1's threads] You still have not answered my questions! stimulus: But I have quoted from Muslim authors and translators! Muslim: I pity your deluded authors that lied in order to deceive you!! Enter the sobbing congregation (SC) of 'muslim' SC: Em Muslim, we are very impressed! You have won the debate! ![]() Muslim: Salaam. I am too much for them! Addendum: Has the basic question been answered by 'Muslim'?? |
@mrpataki, mrpataki:I don't know. Perhaps just like I stumbled across this site! mrpataki:Nope. Only rascals who can't afford to be honest with themselves will make claims like that. mrpataki:Okay, I'm very very sorry about that. Lol. Honestly, I am. It shouldn't have come across like that; but you're such a good brother (in my opinion) to get along with. ![]() mrpataki:I'm dazed. . .lol. Outstanding?? I be olodo O! ![]() mrpataki:I'm really honoured to be a member of the Forum, because in such a short time I have learnt volumes from so many people. God bless. ![]() |
@sandoka, sandoka:Okay, thanks for being honest there! ![]() sandoka:Anoda honest remark! Are you even Muslim?? ![]() sandoka:See?? We're still counting!! ![]() sandoka:I also had that kind of training. sandoka:I'm following you. . . until you bend comot for corner!! ![]() sandoka:Correct! sandoka:Correct guy! A1 for you o jare! ![]() Is that not what I have been trying to put across to our friends?? And someone is telling me about qiblah detector!! sandoka:M-e-n!! You made huge sense!! ![]() And thank you. |
@mrpataki, mrpataki:Lol. . . let's what and read his sequel. He may actually not be drivelling; and we can't really say anything until he has posted his write-ups. mrpataki:Point of correction: he called them "deluded authors that lied in order to deceive"!! ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-52589.32.html#msg1108087 mrpataki:Several questions, actually. And we are still waiting for their answers! ![]() |
@babs787, babs787:Ok. babs787:I will do so if you could please simply state what you believe is the Torah. babs787:Pride is not a virtue. babs787:You don't have "everything" about Moses and the Jews in the Qur'an. The simple issue here has been the Qur'an calls them BOOKS of Moses. You called them "stories". Please quote the verses in the Qur'an in exactly the verse I offered, and let's see if indeed the Qur'an called them "stories"! |
@TV01, Lol. Yep, it's the "Yomi Says" Forum. I haven't posted anything there yet; just reading through issues. I stumbled across this Forum while searching the web for something to spice up a paper I was writing. But I think 'Yomi Says' is ripe enough for me to register my presence there. Cheers and God bless. Yep. . . you recognized the "style" - but I'm not yet on 'Yomi Says'. ![]() |
Telly B:Can you please answer. Thanks. |
@babs787, My questions are to make you think about what you posted in response to the very same tired old questions you keep recycling. If you can't answer EVEN ONE, please say so. Answer one, answer all. If you have anything afterwards, then you can either discuss it, or keep repeating yourself. Can you please answer the questions above in response to the post I quoted from you?? |
@babs787, I think I have been fair enough to deal with most of your questions in other threads. The Forum is a place for discussions between people; and rather NOT a place to demand anything of others while you dodge theirs. Should I look forward to your answers to my questions; or you would rather keep avoiding the threads where they are posted?? |
@babs787, What questions? I have been attending to your questions and all you do is circumvent those I offered. If you can't debate issues fairly, you can as well simply say so. |
Aha!! TV01, how are you?? Saw you on another Forum, and was wondering if it was not you!! How far?? |
@babs787, Did you read my response above for the reasons WHY Joseph was called the son of Heli and also the son of David?? (Luke 3:23 and Matt. 1:20). Did Luke use the word BEGAT as Matthew did in his (the latter's) record?? |
