Dears pls I need your advice. 55% of POF is Gift Deed and I left instruction with my bank to place all POF in Treasury Bills. That's Over a week now and they are yet to initiate the transaction. To forestall further delay, can I just use the regular bank reference and SOA and maybe I can raise CSE for Treasury Bills when bank eventually do?

TB bid comes every two weeks, the bank will do the needful once the next window opens. Please don't ask me WHEN

To get upgrade in either is close to impossible. Remark fee is same irrespective of how many modules you are doing enquiry on. my advise... practise more and register for another test.

I write this in a very sombre mood. I just received my result for my fifth ielts attempt.

L-7 R-9 W-7 S-7

It's been an excruciating experience, because just listening has been the issue. In all attempts it's been 7.5 trice and 7 twice in listening and I haven't had any issue with other modules.

I do so well while practising ahead of exam but it turns out a ghastly situation and what's more, a serious case of phobia on the test day proper.

I know few guys may have had similar experience in the past. Please, I need your counsel.

I can feel your pains. What section(s) of the listening module do you have problems with during the real test? kindly share and the house might give some pointers

Thank you for your immense help and contributions so far. I have a question. I have my POF as a single applicant. However, I was able to get all the required funds by saving from September to date so obviously I have to do a LOE to explain how I got the funds. I am hesitant about presenting my six months statement. Can I buy TBills and just present a one month statement with the TB certificate? or am I fine with presenting the 6months like that?

Furthermore, I have a 500k gift from my parents so I have to present a notarized deed gift too. please help.

If you have nothing to hide, i do not see reason for the "hesitation". Some people had presented just TB certificate with bank reference and get PPR, others TB certificate with six month reference and still get PPR. Bottom-line is there is no one way fit all for this journey. Each application is unique as such it will be treated differently. Do what makes you sleep at night.

Yes get a gift deed (notarized or not) we have seen success with this.

Congratulations on getting a positive feedback.Where you able to check the result of your BC remark online?

I don't think BC does this checking result online after EOR. You might need to or send proxy to pick up your result at their office in LAGOS.

Hmmm, I am just looking at BC with one eye. Almost 40 working days now no refund after EOR came positive.

However if CIC needed extra report, shouldn't it come as an ADR on your CIC account. Would it be the hospital that calls for extra report. Abeg others dat did extra medicals, ur assistance is needed.

Well my brother/sister, i believed we all make sacrifice along the line in this journey. Two thing: I am happy that my baby is fine: and that this will not affect our application. Qlife can take the money for all i care.

Update......
So we did see a Pediatrician on Saturday with Qlife. After a long discussion/consultation, daughter was given Green light. All we were advised was to make sure she eats well and fortified meals with nutrients even if still she picks, she will still have enough to build up. Thanks to everyone that showed concern.

Thank you. yes my wife noticed when she went for her one year immunization. she was 7.5 then ( birth weight was 3.2). she hardly eats. just breast milk and picks on normal meal( baby cereals and milk) and our adults meal.

she is very smart . At 1yr 4month ( present age) she says A-F,1-5 , hello, bye bye. bring your phone to you when it rings. put the phone to her ear and say hello. I am petit. just adding weight now cos of marriage lol. I believe all will be well.

Hello house.. I know God want to make this testimony a sweet one. well we had our medical with qlife on Monday. daughter was flagged for being underweight ( 3rd percentile) whatever that means. we were told CIC might return our case for further test. we received a call today that CIC did return our case that daughter should see a paediatrician and further report is needed( qlife is charging 30k). Anything we should be worry about against daughter's health and our application. we are yet to get an appointment with the paediatrician.

I just called Q-life to book a date and they said the earliest available date is 6th December. I just people don't take this bad habit of greed and ignorance to Canada, just wait till you get ITA before booking, it's unfair to others.

You cannot be hoping to improve your score or still writing IELTS yet have a booked appointment. This same thing ruined Germany interview dates late last year and lots of us with admission letters where unable to get dates while some folks who didn't have admission yet booked more than 10 slots with different emails.

Please let's have a change of heart and consider others, I may have to opt for opt for Abuja for medicals.

To my mind, i don't see anything bad in booking ahead. What is wrong is not using the space or cancelling the appointment with the hospital.

People should try and do what is right. Book ahead and use it or cancel.

I finally got my TRNC police report BY PROXY after 9month and close to 100k.

I cant thank God enough for this victory.

Please people dont give up on anything in life even if not this Canadian PR journey. In all pray and hope.

I have listed the process to obtain TRNC police report few pages back. @WIP&,@WIP thank you professor, @mcstan... tell you friend its doable.

It does but please how did you come about this process? I called the Turkish embassy in Abuja and they asked me to contact the TRNC police.

I had to write to TRNC ministry of foreign affairs, TRNC foreign missions around the world, My University and one of my bosses that is well connected. You cant reach TRNC police from the outside world. Those Guys are close minded. I even called the TRNC police HQ in lefkosia, the guy on the other end dropped the call saying inglish yok.

I pray this works.

It is a serious issue. After almost a year, seems i found a way out. Though still in the process. I will share with the house once i get it.

But let me give an overview.

1. You need to give proxy to a friend living legally on the island.
2. Proxy (Authority letter to collect the PCC on your behalf) need to be notarized.
3. This proxy must also be authenticated at the ministry of foreign affairs Abuja.
4. Then you will need to authenticate it again at Turkish embassy Abuja.
5. Send the ORIGINAL copy to your friend in TRNC with two passport photograph, your International passport data page both old and new where applicable,TRNC PPC application form ( please fill it from Nigeria and get it authenticated at both ministry of foreign affairs and Turkish embassy abuja( i used DHL and took 7 working days)
6. Your friend will then take these documents to police station where you reside ( i stayed in famagusta and PCC obtained from there as well). He/She should go with identification document which details you must have listed in the PROXY letter.

You should get in the a day after he applied. One of my BIG BRO helped me with the ABUJA runs ( Item 3 and 4)

cost.
1. notary public =N=1500
2. Sending Proxy letter to abuja chisco =N=2000
3. Authentication at ministry of foreign affairs depends on who is helping and how long ( naija factor)
4. Authentication at Turkish embassy $20 per document
5. Receiving document from Abuja young shall grow =N=1500
5. Sending to TRNC via DHL =N=21,000
6. Stamp for application form at TRNC 31.50TL

Apologies if I'm dragging us back a bit on this. I think you're right with the VO's discretion assumption. 2 of my friends used their pf as a good part of their PoF (almost N2.5m) and they both scaled through. One other one who recently got his GCMS notes in July discovered that the VO treating his matter ignored hers. I advised her to raise a CSE at once before they come with their "insufficient settlement funds" slogan. Upon receipt of the second notes late last month, the PoF had been recalculated to include the pf.


I think pf is very well recognized (at least for now sha) as a valid part of PoF, but sometimes some of the officers decide on their own to leave it out. I'd really struggle to believe that it was an oversight. they're too eagle-eyed to miss out on anything.

. Boss man, you didn't drag us back ooo . Infact you just helped a brother having headache because of 500k. How far with that your friend with TRNC police report palava? I am currently working something out to get mine by proxy. if it works I will get back to you here.

Nobody knows anymore.....For my case, maybe cuz I had more. Cuz from their notes, money from the other sources exceeded by about just 30dollars. The pension was not metion anywhere.
But I also remember a guy here; hayor2014 who from his notes it showed that they didnt include the pension and it was stated that ït appears he doesn't meet the required POF.
If other that have recently gotten their gcms and used pension can chip in, maybe more light can be thrown on the matter

See above. My pension was part of my POF but from their notes, they didn't take it into cognizance at all

Immediately I saw the PPR mail on 26th morning, I just called in sick at work. It was raining that day but submit passport I must…... Went back to the same work I called in sick to (but stayed on a different floor) and printed and filled all I needed to fill and made all the copies I needed to make.

Decision to travel to PPR = 9 months. I really didn’t encounter any delays (asides my bsc matter) getting any of the documents and I thank God for that. Single NOC, Work ref was how CIC wanted it + payslips, POF was money in 2 mutual fund accounts (GCMS said they did not include my pension) + my salary and personal account, Medicals at QLife, PCC – ASP Mosh + UK PCC which I sent to a friend to scan down.

I kept it simple.. All the best

congratulations. Can you please throw more light on why pension was not considered. Was it because you had more than enough from other source?
