I don't av problems with both parents being goal oriented, driven and the likes... But most times from experience from a lot of my parents friends the homefront suffers... And I mean the kids... We have a very close family friend whose wife is a director in an international bank, the husband is a regional manager... Very beautiful careers.. But they don't know their kids.. Dat family bond is not there... I tink its best when opposite gets married... Weda its d man dat get d family together or the woman so far its done...

Bros u don't want to marry her... The torment am sure will throw away this luv u taking abt.. U wuld curse d day u meet these babe... Ma mum uncles broda married an AS and he was AS too.. He gave birth to 4 children and 1 was AS and d remain 3 was SS... Now he has lost everything all his SS children are dead, there was one dat died when he travelled that had to be buried in his absence, lost one when he was in final year, 2 papers short of being a graduate... Is wife too is dead self... D man is just trying to b happy.. He was warned but he refused to listen and now he is bearing the bitter consequence... Broda, don't tink abt now.. Think abt the future, tink abt d long term happiness of both u and she... The lord is ur strength bro.. I wish u luck...

bros, Been friends with ladies is gud u just treat them like ur normal friend u don't go the extra mile... Had dis friend in skool who zoned me, I liked her and I didn't want to blow the whole friendship thingy by asking her out, she had a bf who treated her badly, disvirgined her self .. So I was the consoler and emotional spare tyre among other things.. A friend gingered me told me to ask her out. I did,she was like temi.. U can't ask me out, it was ur friend dat told u to ask me out.. I made it clear it was out of my free will I did dat.. To cut the long story short d friend dat ginger me to ask her out started straffing the helll of her I didn't know until abt 4 mnths later thru anoda friend... And u no d funny thing is me, ma gingering friend and d babe wuld prepare for exams in his room and I didn't know dai were doing it... When I asked her she said she tot I knew.. It became very clear when dai started living couples life in school and I was back to square one... Hard lesson learnt... Friendzone is a disease worse dan AIDS bro.. It diminishes u.. I still tried been friend with her still until recently I joke with her to come flex since she has started working and she told me sowi ma money get plans... Dis was someone dat chop ma money to the fullest in skool.. Den I looked back and told maself never in my life wuld I let that happen to me... I wuld never sacrifice anything dat will cost me for a gal ... Friendships with gals is a no no... Make all men dai dere lane...

I don't understand why some people wuld just some things... Y wouldn't it be the op's business.. If problem arise in the marriage later in live don't u know it will affect the op's llife... Seems a lot of pple arond here don't know what faimly bond is called... Op my advise is for you to pray for him... He needs lot of that...

Am not condeming d skool but dis cannot happen in a federal skool... Even prof olufeagba as he bad reach self him no get... But good luck to her

You can also expand your search to other schools.
It's hard work so start now

I do not think you will find much skols dat offer control n instrumentation cos it doesn't really exist as a department. Chemical, Electronics , Electrical and other engineering departments have this area for research n specialization. Just look for skols with aforementioned departments whose professors work in this ur area of interest. Commence communication with him/her and possibly he will recommend u for admission n most importantly GA.

Search for the larger field then look at the research interests or specialization in the department.
A stringent search is bound to be perplexing.

temigracie: i ll love to share my own not-so-nice experience.....i met a guy in my first year..we got so close bla bla bla....he dint tell me how he ws feeling...i decided to tell him dat i liked him cos he s cool n so on...we kissed n den wat started dating...we dated for 3 n half years...twas a mixture of sweet n bitter experience....i fell deeply in love with him..he told me he loved me too...he introduced me to his parents n his friends....he strted changing wen we reached finally year....he told me he neva loved me,told me he was dating cos evryone loves me....he even told our friends i was d one wu initiated d relationship.....honestly,twas really tough for me......i dont advice such acts...i bcame a victim because i read romance novels alot n felt its gonna bring a happy ending

As regards a good GRE score, I will say for an average course or discipline, a Minimum of 153 in Verbal and 155 in Quantitative. However, for a quantitative based course like Mathematics, Economics and other Quantitative based course, one should shoot for a minimum of about 160 in Quantitative.
