CHEI.. Mehnnn u dont wanna know. The ever first time i bought it was not funny, i had to drive so far away from my area. Took me a whole hour to find a pharmacy cos i wasnt so used to the area i drove to. and when i did. i parked so far away from there, waalked down and saw some customers inside, i had to pretend as if i was making a call outside just to let the customers get what they want and get the f**k out, Dem no commot for there until after 15min, i no know wetin dem dey buy. after they left i just bounced in, Asked d guy for Gold circle and he nodded with one stupid smile like "hmmmm..Brossss" i just looked away and when he brought d stuff i just put his money on the table and walked out before another customer see wetin i dey buy. I forgot to ask how much was it before paying and leaving. Don't blame me, it was my first time then

Yep, very nice indeed. I hope u are aware that the new music player could display lyrics as well? checkout the screenshot below. As for the Touch qwerty, copy all peninputserver files from ''resource/apps'' and ''resource/plugins'' folder from Rofs2 of your previous firmware to the new one, be careful not to mix them up cos they are more than 50. Repack and reflash, thats it. Enjoy.

YES THERE IS!!! Screenshot included in every bit of explanation from A-Z. I attached 2 docs above. I hope u downloaded the flashing tutorial first and I hope it was opened with a microsoft word viewer on a pc and not on a phone. If you have a bit slow pc, wait for 10seconds for the documents to open completely and load all the pictures/screenshots attached.. Here is a screenshot of the document from a pc

aieromon: I haven't tried to upgrade using the PC Suite.Its very sensitive to network fluctuations so I prefer to download the offline file and flash via Phoenix.

Nokia suite will never upgrade your phone's Firmware if your connection goes below 40kb/s at an average speed. and it will disconnect if the connection goes below that in the middle of upgrade killing your phone. GBAM!

Yeah bro, it is, a lil' . at least for the first time it might be a little complicated but if u have the necessary softwares and follow the guidelines. it s a piece cake
All u need is;
1. Phoenix application for your PC

2. NOKIA BELLE firmware of your choice (Either original [Official] Belle from Nokia [OFW] or the costumed/Modified Belle by modders [CFW])

3. Your Nokia device + a good USB Cable

Now let me give u a clue about Manual and PC Suite upgrade + their flaws. The difference between the PC Suite update and self update is that u are in control of the update cos you have the belle firmware with you already, U could modify anythin before Upgrade and u could make changes to the Firmware and reflash/re-upgrade again if u wanna change something after the update which aint possible with pc suite. but u might kill/brick your phone if you didnt do it correctly as told.

Pc suite is straight forward cos u just connect to pc suite and click on update, but any slight network delay or disconnection at the middle of update will automatically kill your phone and u gonna need to take the device for flashing, which they will definitely do for u via the first (phoenix) method above. So it s a choice bro. If your MTN 3G fluctuates during PC Suite update and your phone dies, u gonna need the same technical procedure to bring it back to life.

U'r Welcome bro.
U will have to flash the device if you are are upgrading it youyself manually/offline. It is very Simple and easy provided you follow all procedures carefully.

Connect your device to a pc via MASS STORAGE mode. open :\Private\10281e7\ and delete the 3 database files (dat ends with ".db" ). Also open :\Private\101ffca9 and delete "harvesterdb.dat". Do the same to the memory card if you have music contents stored there as well. Disconnect d USB and open your music player. U should hav a fresh Music database now. Enjoy.

N8 is has a capacitive touchscreen which is very cool bro. it will respond to even a very soft and slight touch and swipes of a new born baby, unlike N97 with a Resistive touchscreen which u have to apply some more pressure before it responds. any device with a resistive touch is a NO NO for me especially when it comes to touchscrn only device. if u really like N97's Touch interface, then u ll be so surprised when u use that of an N8

Please i have a problem with whatsapp and skype. is there anyway to syncronise my whatsapp account to another line like login in to yahoo mail in different location?? I use my current whatsapp sim in a modem now and i wish to chat with it at the same time.
My skype hasnt logged in since i upgraded to belle. It reaches the login window, hangs and exit itself. Please help me out guys

U can Login your current existing whatsapp phone number even with another sim inserted and with no mobile data at all, anywhere in the world. Currently am using my whatsapp account created on my Naija Etisalat number with my current Maxis network sim card here and with a wifi connection as well, all u need to do is insert your new sim, launch whatsapp and when it asks for your mobile number, just enter your existing whatsapp contact number and there u go. saves u a whole lot of stress channgin ur whatsapp number everytime u hav a new sim
As for Skype, some particular firmwares freezes skype, If u have the Originnal belle, Taylor, Xeon firmwares installed, just change your theme Back to the default NOKIA EVOLVE theme and launch skype, u gonna be fine. In some Delight SW versions, Default theme might not solve the issue which is very annoying.. do giv it a try on your own installed FW though and giv me a feedback.

lol. Sorry about that bro, guess you are not putting more effort and commitment into it, a very little mistake could mess the whole project up.
Nope, didnt use any cfw as foundation, mainly cos it could be very difficult to clean a modder's changelog and it doesnt really feel original doin ur own thing on a ready made stuff. I started d idea of makin my own cfw cos i wasnt really satisfied with a particular firmware, for instance, original nokia belle firmware is just too simple and basic with its functions, Nicesoni's delight firmware is awesome (my favourite firmware maker till date) but some of its default widgets, fonts and changelogs aint up to my taste, Taylor's N8 pro firmware is brilliant but some errors really pisses me off, so i mark down the best function and asset of all dis firmwares + the leaked widgets and applications like the 808 and other eye catchin stuffs, brought d ideas together and made one dat suited my taste and my own use, i also took original nokia fonts and video codecs from 701 so flv videos could play which was one thing am so happy about.. +1 to all developers out there, really their released patches and add-ons tweaks for firmwares during creation was very helpful. Coderus,nicesoni, iL.socio,doctorly etc.. Abeg i don giv una credit for here o so no com remove my admin status at dailymobile o. lol.

Am not so sure bro, the graphic accelerator on 500 wont do much good with HD Games so it might go blank when u launch it, but i v seen a video of asphalt 6 running on 500 from youtube, dunno how true it is but u can search for ''asphalt 6 HD nokia 500 .zip'' and see if u could get lucky boss

i created the startup and shutdown animation images with both corel draw and Beneaton movie gif maker, as in i designed the frames on corel draw then used BMG to join all frames into a .gif image
Nope u cant use it directly, u gonna have to created the startup location in be9 folder when in the firmware before flashing, most Custom firmwares has dat by default. Actually dat startup screen was from my own cfw

awww, true bro HD Games are much larger in size due to its nice graphics and real animations.. unlike the normal 2D and 3D games. No other way around it bro, but if u try downloadin some (like asphalt 6) u will unistall all normal graphic games and start looking for HDs

U can't update from one operating system to another using your phone sis. u gonna need a pc with nokia suite installed (nokia suite 3.3 for belle ). even if BELLE UPDATE appears on sw update application on your phone, u ll see a message ''PC is required'' under it. you are changing the whole software (firmware) branded in the phone's system directory so u ll need an host (your pc) to do the work.

The belle demo u installed was notthe actual os, it is a normal update but u didnt check d full name cos u were eager to update to belle or probably it was the video demo that was released by nokia for belle (check ur video folders)

i wont advice staying on your current Operating system cos its no good in any way, but please u must understand how to update to Anna or straight to Belle so u wont make a single mistake which ll brick your phone. And also how to unbrick if it eventually dies on u.
