The early rx350 series that started looks almost the same with the 330 series that started in 2004.....except for the engine design

The first one is rx 330 (same with es 330 engine)
The second pic is rx 350 ( same with avalon engine)

Yes. Perfectly ok.
U might not always be lucky calculating your fuel this way because of the differences in the road you ply. For instance, traffic and bad road will make you use more fuel compared to a smooth road with less/no traffic.

@op i was once in your shoes. Car handles well but i slam on brake, it pulls to the right side.

Took it to the mechanic, i remember he removed the right front and back tyres and hit the joints/suspension or something with a rod (i actually didnt pay attention cos i thought he doesn't know what he was doing) funny thing is we tested the car and i never experience it ever again.

My guess is, something wasn't alligned or probably in place.
Definitely not your ball joint as it only happens when u press the brake pad.

I was on my way to work one morning and immediately i got to the highway, vehicle started behaving as if i was revving. Like seriously? I just worked on that gear. I managed to park at the side of the road and i was just about to blast the Gear mechanic on phone when i noticed somethin unusual..

Putting the car on drive, speedometer moves and i hear some funny noices from the front wheel areas.
Then i turned the steering, put the gear in drive again to check what was happening under the wheel... Oboy, na one iron dey roll there o. lol.
Called my mechanic and told him my shaft was out.

I knew if i had mistakenly called the gear repairer, he would definitely tell me about one thing or the other that has to be fixed in the gear.

Gear works perfectly well.
The thing is, local gear mechanics are only doing a guess job based on their experiences working on few gears. Sometimes before you get the actual problem, you would have been made to throw different parts whuch will cost u a lot. Sometimes you ll realise you might have spent almost the same amount of money for a new gear or even more. You are not even sure how long the new part that eventually work will last since they might be substandard or might have gone through wears and tears

Secondly, gear isn't something you could test run before you mount it on the car, when it gets mounted and doesn't work, you bring it down again.. so, stripping the gear, coupling, bringing it down, putting it in the car... My brother, if u were present, u ll know the method puts lots of wears and tears on the whole mechanism. That's why u might end up spending much more.

The best is getting a new gear that you can guarantee it's functional. Except if u know u have a competent mechanic who knows exactly where to go and solve the problem at once.

If the right pistons, rings are used, all moving parts laid correctly and tightened with the right bolts as well as the timing is set correctly, then your engine should come out like new and should sound perfect, except of course something is not right which means your mechanic didnt do a good job.

while going...I sha still managed to kill a baby goat that strayed into the middle of the road ...One Driver on a YouTube video I watched said never to try to dodge any animal or even human who suddenly jumps into your lane while on high speeds on an interstate highway...Na so I kill the damn goat without even breaking a stride


Journey back to base was uneventful and I arrived safely...I managed to up my speeds to 120km/hr...I even overtook a 14-wheeler truck for the first time in my life ...


Fast forward to Christmas time same year, after another binge of YouTube videos of extreme highway driving, I drove for about 900km from my state of residence to Lagos..got there same day I left ...

I still drove back to Jos same December without event, before a nice lady bought the car off me on Oga Gazzuzz's recommendation...

Yeah i can testify to this.

I have someone that has been using his own welded ball joint and it's been 2 years. No complains.

I am not sure if it a good idea but i can say it works well. At least it gives peace of mind.

I guess omeone will hav to re-visit the welder when changing the ball joint though

Make an "Affidavit for Correction of Name on Driver's License" duly signed and sealed at the Court of law stating the name that was erroneously inputted and the right one as well.

You can either take that to FRSC office to correct the error or use the affidavit as a temporary correction along with your license when the need arises.
