Why don't you first answer my questions before you start spewing out your thoughts about Christianity and the Bible. Again I ask you the basics of Islam (not the one you want to believe) Tell me if I am wrongHow many Muslims today that you know that snatched the wife of a fellow Muslim friend or relative? How many Muslims today do you know who will marry and have sex with a woman within THREE days of separation from her husband? How many Muslims today can announce in the mosque that all married women his eyes fall upon, the husband must divorce her? Still on Islam,Do you know any God that Allows Prostitution for men in his religion? Do you know any God that Allows for men to have girls doing Prostitution in his religion? Now, to your postSterope: You have confused the Bible for the Qur'an. Christians tend to do that a lot. I don't know why, it is very bizarre. You are not the one to talk about morality AT ALL.
The following are from your God (Known as Jesus) and his "chosen " people:
1. Slavery or sex slavery is in the Bible. In Islam, the matter is very nuanced. “Now ki.. all the boys. And ki.. every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.” I challenge you to show me from the bible where anyone is a sex-slave.Because even in the time of Moses when they used the law of an eye for an eye and slavery was allowed, you cannot enter into your slave without her married to you. And if for one reason or the other you divorce her, you CANNOT even treat her as a slave, she has to go wherever she wants. Sterope: 2.Genocide: bible advocates for genocides including children and new borns and animals. (Numbers 31:7–18; 1 Samuel 15:2–3; Deuteronomy 20:16–18). There are wmore verses. You will never find same in the Quran. Quran goes if you fight us, we shall fight you but genocide? NEVER 1. It seems you are not aware that Allah gave the land to the children of Israel. Qur'an 5:20-21 and thus, you have to prove that Allah did not give them instructions to exterminate everything that lived there. 2. It seems you are not aware of the Qur'an narrates that Moses told the Israelites to enter this land, but they initially refused because of the presence of a strong people living there. Allah then made the land forbidden to them for forty years as a punishment for their fear and disobedience Qur'an 5:20-26.So, you see that the genocide was orchestrated by Allah himself, otherwise, what is your evidence. 3. What will you call the act of mercy of your prophet who beheaded over 700 boys and men of the Jewish tribe Banu Qurayza who helped him dig trenches for the battle over a bogus claim of betrayal because they wanted their women and their wealth. Sterope: 3. Polygamy: Christians can marry as much as 700 wives as King Solomon of the Bible. many men of God in the Bible had multiple wives and no restriction was ever made. Even though it is not a sin to marry more than one wife in the bible, I still want to challenge you to bring any EVIDENCE that 1. Solomon was a Christian 2. Christians can marry as much as even 10 wives and not 700 |

The Qur’an speaks of al-Samiri, a deceiver in Musa’s (Moses) time.
Yes the Samaritans as a sect came much later, so they are unrelated.
The Prophet pbuh commanded truthfulness and warned against lying.
Correcting a misunderstanding is not making excuses, but fulfilling the command of Allah to speak justly and truthfully. The Samaritans were not a sect o! The origins of the Samaritans date to the Assyrian conquest of the Northern Kingdom of Israel in 722 BCE. Several conquered tribes were resettled in the Northern kingdom of Israel. Thus, the Samaritans were a mixture of Several Tribes who intermarried with the Northern Tribes of Israel after the Assyrian deported them by conquest. The resulting mix produced a group with a funny Hebrew Dialect that the Southern tribes looked down upon. Idolatry was common within them because of these multitudes even though they tried to make the Torah their scripture. The Jews despised them because they were an impure breed of Israelites that they wouldn't want to interact with. This was why Jesus gave the parable of the Good Samaritan in the book of Luke 10:29-37 |

Correcting a misunderstanding is not making excuses, but fulfilling the command of Allah to speak justly and truthfully. The problem is easy to solve sir 1. Let's assume that the Qur’an speaks of al-Samiri, a deceiver in Musa’s (Moses) time. 2. AL-Samiri mean "A man from Samiri" like you will say "a Nigerian" 3. So, as Muslims, you must tell us a. The Historical Nation or Community called Samiri at the time of Moses b. An Evidence from Mohammed himself showing that he is aware that the Samiri is different from the Samaritan c. An Evidence from Allah (who should be aware that there could be a potential mix-up with the Samaritans) d. We can even concede that ANY of the Companions of Mohammed (Ibn Abbas, Umar, Uthman, Bildad etc) distinguished between the Samaritans and the AL-Samari of the Qur'an.4. If you can't find a solution within these FOUR above, then all you are doing is damage control because of the historical blunder of the Qur'an. BTW:The Bible States exactly who Made the Golden Calf and it was Aaron because he was afraid of his people . If this is UNTRUE, you must do better than just asserting a position without EVIDENCE |

It is not about the minimum wage earner flying out of the country. The ratio is a test of how reasonable the government is with respect to the purchasing power of the citizens. Business › Re: Zenith At 35: The Jim Ovia Dream by TenQ: 11:19am On Aug 28, 2025 |
Visage24: The Beginning
In May 1990, Nigeria’s banking industry was a battlefield. The Structural Adjustment Programme had opened the floodgates to new banks, but many were shaky, undercapitalized, and destined to collapse. Amid the chaos, a young entrepreneur named Jim Ovia founded a small bank called Zenith.
Ovia’s vision was clear: to prove that Nigeria could build a bank that rivaled the world’s best—not by shortcuts or political favors, but through professionalism, technology, and people. He recruited not just employees, but believers.
Back then, Zenith was ambition wrapped in humility. Today, it is Nigeria’s largest bank by assets and earnings—a powerhouse with ₦30 trillion in assets and ₦3.97 trillion in gross earnings (2024), ranked by Brand Finance among the Top 500 banking brands in the world.
But Zenith’s story is not just about numbers. It is about people, vision, and permanence.
The Jim Ovia Factor: Vision As Currency Every great institution begins with a founder whose vision burns brighter than the obstacles. For Zenith, that was Jim Ovia.
While many banks of the 1990s pursued rapid, reckless expansion, Ovia emphasized capital adequacy, transparency, and cutting-edge technology. He imported banking software at a time when Nigerian banks still processed ledgers manually. He insisted on compliance and professionalism when “briefcase banks” cut corners.
His mantra was simple: hire the best, give them the tools, and let excellence scale itself.
That ethos became Zenith’s DNA—and its shield during the banking crises of the 1990s and early 2000s, when dozens of competitors collapsed.
Empowering People Zenith has always been more than a bank. It is a university of talent.
Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, once a youth corper, is now the first female Group Managing Director/CEO in Zenith’s history, and one of the few women to lead a Tier-1 bank in Africa.
His Excellency Kashim Shettima GCON, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is an alumnus of Zenith Bank, as are Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite – Minister of State for Finance; Nonye Ayeni – CEO Nigerian Export Promotion Council; Udom Emmanuel – Fmr Governor of Akwa Ibom State; Godwin Emefiele – Fmr CBN Governor and Peter Amango – Chairman of Globus and a host of other prominent Nigerian industry leaders.
This culture explains why many pioneer staff remain to this day—three decades on. They did not just work for a bank. They built a house, and the house built them back.
Customers as Family
Jim Ovia often recalls the story of Zenith’s very first customer: a Chinese businessman who opened an account in 1990—and still banks with Zenith today.
He was not alone. At its 35th anniversary, Zenith honored dozens of pioneer customers who have stayed loyal since the beginning.
This loyalty is not accidental. For 35 years, Zenith has built a “trust economy.” Customers are not treated as numbers but as partners. Whether in corporate banking, retail services, or digital platforms, Zenith’s philosophy is simple: protect trust, and profit will follow.
Innovation as Lifeblood
Zenith has always been a step ahead technologically.
In the mid-1990s, it was one of the first Nigerian banks to deploy online real-time banking software.
In the 2000s, it championed e-banking and card services when others hesitated.
Today, its Zenith Mobile App and Internet Banking platforms serve millions, making it a leader in digital transactions.
It was also among the earliest banks to adopt cloud computing and enterprise-level cybersecurity infrastructure.
This tech-first strategy is why Zenith consistently ranks as one of the most profitable banks in Africa.
Meeting the New Era
In 2023, the Central Bank of Nigeria shocked the industry with a mandate: all international operated banks must raise their minimum capital from ₦120 billion to ₦500 billion by 2026.
While competitors scrambled, Zenith became the first bank to meet the new capitalization requirements—years ahead of schedule. For stakeholders, it was confirmation of Zenith’s reputation: resilient, disciplined, and always prepared.
The Lesson for Nigeria
Zenith at 35 is not just a banking story—it is a parable of nation-building.
It shows that when you treat people as partners in vision and not disposable workers but as partners in vision, they will stay and rise.
It shows that customers are not just transactions—they are communities of trust.
It proves that discipline and long-term planning can outlast chaos.
From a small bank in 1990 to an international giant today, Zenith has outgrown its founders but never abandoned its DNA: people, purpose, permanence.
The Legacy
At 35, Zenith Bank is not merely celebrating success—it is celebrating an institution that is the benchmark of banking excellence.
It is celeberating the innumerable leaders it has nurtured for the nation.
It is growing customers that have became family.
It is celeberating innovation and resilience.
Zenith has shown that greatness is not built on profit alone but on the audacity of vision and the loyalty of people who believe in it.
And as Nigeria confronts its economic future, the lesson is clear: institutions built on trust, discipline, and people will always outlive the storms. See where the Story started from:...Amid the chaos, a young entrepreneur named Jim Ovia founded a small bank called Zenith. Where did the young entrepreneur named Jim Ovia found ENOUGH MONEY to found a small bank called Zenith? Just like: The first Business of a Guy after leaving the University was to purchase TWO Helicopters for Hire! How? What are they not saying and what have they left out? |

Ask any Christian or Jew:Is the personal NAME or IDENTITY of their God YHWH? The answer is a definite YES!Ask any Muslim:Is the personal NAME or IDENTITY of their God YHWH? The answer is a definite NO!And for a final nail in their coffin: those who say Allah and God is the same is to get any Muslim to truthfully answer the question. Ohyoudidnt: When the Qur’an refers to Mary as the sister of Aaron, it’s not an error; it’s actually a Semitic expression. In both Hebrew and Arabic, terms like brother, sister, or son often signify an honorific or tribal relationship rather than a direct family tie.
The Prophet pbuh clarified this when he was asked about it, explaining that people were often named after prophets and virtuous figures from the past (Sahih Muslim 5326).
He even told Safiyyah to say, My father was Aaron and my uncle was Moses, using this same honorific approach rather than a genealogical one. The Bible also employs this style, as seen in phrases like sons of Belial in 1 Sam. 2:12 and daughters of Jerusalem in Song 2:7, which aren’t meant to be taken literally. Additionally, Jewish midrash reflects this tradition of connecting figures to Amram, Aaron, and Moses. So instead of being a source of confusion, the Qur’an is actually preserving an Israelite idiom and continuity that has been lost by others.
Got another emoji riddled refutation and erroneous linking to Reddit? Mary is NOT related to Aaron sir Aaron is from the tribe of Levi Mary is from the Tribe of Judah It is not a Semitic tradition to call a spade a spoon. This is another lie from momo...it is untrue! |

honesttalk21: A final response to you as indeed your questions/statement are unserious and far from genuine. I have no time for silly play.
tenq's claim that Allah was just a pagan idol like Hubal is fals for these reasons:
1. Allah ≠ Hubal. Even the Quraysh admitted Allah was the Creator (Qur’an 29:61). Hubal was just one stone idol among 360. They never said Hubal made the heavens. Hubal was the visible form of Allah because The chief god in pre-Islamic Arabia was Hubal aka Allah, the Syrian god of the moon. The three daughters of Hubal were the chief goddesses of Meccan Arabian mythology: Allāt, Al-'Uzzá, and Manāt. honesttalk21: 2. Allah did not ‘protect idols.’ Surah al-Fīl says Allah protected His House, the Ka‘bah built by Abraham as a sanctuary for monotheism. Yes, Quraysh polluted it with idols, but Muhammad pbuh later cleansed it forever. The protection was for the House, not for the idols. But the Ka'aba had been destroyed and repaired several times before Mohammed by flood and others. It is still a claim that has no basis that Abraham built the Ka'aba. Can you show us a number pre-Islamic evidence of this? Is it UNTRUE that Muslims refer to Allah as the Gods of the Kaaba?
honesttalk21: 3. Pre-Islamic proof of Allah’s supremacy. Jahili poet Labid ibn Rabia said that‘Apart from Allah, everything is vain before Islam.
Arab Christians in Najran prayed to Allah in their liturgies, and the earliest Arabic Bibles use Allah for Elohim/YHWH. pre-Islamic proof of Allah's supremacy BUT then Allah was vain at that time!? The name of the God of the Arab Christians is YHWH, Is any ofnthe 99 names of the Allah of the Muslims YHWH Elohim means God/gods and Whatever is worshipped is Elohim. honesttalk21: 4. Hubal was never equated with Allah. Historians like W. Montgomery Watt confirm: Allah was known to the Quraysh as a high God above the idols; Hubal was never equated with Allah. Is it UNTRUE that a sacrifice to Hubal is a sacrifice to Allah and vise-versa in pre-Islamic times? honesttalk21: 5. The Ka‘bah’s Abrahamic link. Even Greek historian Diodorus Siculus (1st c. BC) described a sacred sanctuary in Arabia, almost certainly the Ka‘bah, tied to Abraham long before Islam. 1. There were up to seven Ka'aba in the Arabia. Including in Yemeni. This is why till today, your Ka'aba has what is called the Yemeni corner. 2. Can you trace how Abraham a shepherd carried his sheep to Mecca in the desert? 3. It is laughable that a Greek historian is the one telling the history of Abraham almost 5000 years after the event honesttalk21: And about your ‘Lah’ distortion that Allah comes from al-Ilah ;The God.’The lah in Bismillah or ʿAbdullah is just part of Allah’s name, not a separate deity. Even the Prophet’s father, ʿAbdullah meaning “servant of Allah bore that name before Islam, proving Allah was always understood as the Supreme God, not an idol. Praise be to LAH honesttalk21: If Allah was just a pagan idol, why did pre-Islamic poets exalt Him above all idols, why do Arab Christians still pray to Him today, and why did Quraysh themselves admit Allah created the heavens and the earth? Clearly, Allah is the eternal Creator not Hubal, not ‘Lah,’ and not an idol.
Then how do you expect me to believe that ancient city walls just collapsed because people marched around them and blew trumpets? Come on. Stone doesn’t crumble from noise and footsteps. If this story is taken literally, it doesn’t add up. God-Allah is Vishnu to the Indians God-Allah is Allah to the Arab Muslims God-Allah is YHWH to the Arab Christians To you is Vishnu your Allah? So, the IDENTITY of your God/Allah matters |

Is this story even remotely TRUE? Why? Abraha, the Abyssinian was not a prophet nor a magician, can you explain HOW he succeeded in Bringing an Army of Elephants into the Arabian Desert?
Note: Elephants cannot survive in deserts as they need lots of water for drinking and cooling themselves |
