If Ferguson had coached Barcelona, Real Madrid, he would have won nothing less than 6 UCL with the spending power of these clubs in luring the world best stars over the years. Same with AC Milan and Juventus.

If United spent even spent nearly what other big European clubs spent, SAF would have won at least 6 UCL.

If Rafael was not prematurely sent off in 2010 we had a team that was going to conquer Europe again.

Between 2008 and 2011 SAF played 3 UCL finals in four years and Barca with their great team stood between SAF and the cup. No team could beat Barca in the final. Our chance could have been in 2010 but two soft red cards to Rafael prevented us.

If he`s better than SAF as you`ve said, then he should`ve won the league with those teams. At least SAF took a lowly rated Aberdeen and Man Utd from nowhere to win both local and european trophies.

Lol, no coach has ever won ucl the way Enrique won it. He defeated all champions of every league en route to the final and still defeated another champ there. That s what made it special.

Fergie was an average coach hence having just 2 ucl in 25 years. Very very poor record.

The course of discussion is a team management by a coach. If pep was still barca's coach, Enrique wouldn't be there and most likely pep would have still won the ucl. Regarding if pep would have won it if it wasn't barca, I dnt know but he did it with barca and that was a team who went trophyless back to back. He also sold most starting players.

However, i know that Chelsea topped the penalties table in SAF`s last season which was 2012/13 season.

You said SAF should`ve won at least 6 UCL in his 25yrs at Man Utd. That is winning it in every four years. Mourinho is in his 6th season at Chelsea and he`s not even close to winning the trophy for Chelsea. Whereas, a coach that was not even close to Mourinho and Ancelotti`s pedigree won it for Chelsea in his first half season at Chelsea.

Report have it that Herrera held a transfer talk with LVG. Could this be true?

We have another creative outlet in Young but i don`t know the reason why he`s hell bent in converting him into a fullback. Young on the left offers the team creativity, assist and goals. Di Maria left because of him but now he`s not using him properly. Young should be starting ahead of Memphis until there`s an improvement in his game.

Apart from LVG`s philosophy, his choice of personnel and subs can give someone heart attack.

At a point yesterday, i was praying PSV don`t score when the pressure was so much that no one was able to tame those player`s crisp passes. And that was because they fancied their chances.

@elampiro I don`t really know the circumstances in which he came in in those matches but when that subs was about to be made i knew it was a wrong move because Fellaini cannot play in that midfield the way Schweini will. Fellaini isn`t as mobile as Schweini and and he`s only good at shot passes and slower.

Bringing in Fellaini for Schweini was a wrong move. Fellaini cannot control the midfield as Schweini. The midfield collapsed after that sub.

He brought in Young which brought life to that LWF. He later sub Darmian and moved young who was lively on the LWF to the RB which also killed any chance of creating something from LWF. He disorganized the whole system with his subs and rearrangement.

There were times when Fellaini was caught between going forward and staying in the midfield. He`ll head when he`s supposed to chest the ball.

That was a stupid sub by LVG as usual. Substituting ur most mobile midfielder for a Fellaini is the most dumb thing to do as a coach.

A coach playing patient football not patient enough and changing to route one.

He has put this team in a difficult situation now. Is this the kind if football we are going to play in Germany? We shall see.
