depay is doing well....yes, he can sometimes frustrate the fans with his trickery but that is because he's trying something that didn't work out. all creative players have that problem. rooney actually did well yesterday with his brilliant runs and touches...the only problem is failing to shoot when the coast was clear for him. chances were created, rooney could have had a hatrick yesterday but he fluffed every chance that came his way. the frustrating part was that he didn't even shoot at all when he was presented with a clear-cut chance.



another top class centre forward sold by LVG.

falcao scored for chelsea on saturday.......and yet our lead striker hasn't scored a league goal in 4 games.

We are now left with top class striker except Rooney.
I hope this man has not come to decimate our team.

Depay and Darmian who performed better and are new to this league deserve to be dropped while Rooney who despite knowing this league inside out but still playing rubbish deserves to be playing.

It was clear to a loud part of this thread that Rooney isn't good anymore right from the preseason games.
I was among 20 EPL goal for rooney part.
My point is rooney has been awful aside from the brugge games.
The coach hasn't changed him yet.

That's why i said it's favouritism or what else do we call it? A player has been underperforming since the beginning of the season and a coach doesn't feel it good to drop such player and try somebody else.

Anyway, if he continues, it is going to cost him his job.

Its the same reason Moyes gave Rooney that contract.

It was clear to everybody in the first half. He should have sub Rooney when he still continued with his under-performance in the second half.

This is one of the reasons why i want LVG sacked. He has lost the control of this team to favouritism. He doesn't select based on merit. He sold Nani and now wanting Mane. What kind of a coach is he?

The problem is that we don't even have a goalkeeper. Those two goals are too cheap for Man Utd's goalkeeper to chip in. This kind of goalkeeping doesn't give defenders any confidence.

They shouldn't sell De Gea this season irrespective of any amount brought by Madrid otherwise we are in for a basketful this season.

LVG is past it. I`ll blame him for all these. He`s not making any difference to this team. I don`t believe this man can take us anywhere.
A coach that`ll only make a change to a team based on what fans and the press says.
A coach who met four first team strikers in the team, sold two without adequate replacement and still believes we don`t need another striker.
He has been using underperfoming Rooney as our striker since the begining of the season and he didn`t bother to even start his second striker to see if there will be some difference.
This pass pass pass is the most irritating. There is no energy and pace in this team at all and i don`t believe it`s because of the players but the coach. Players are always playing cautious passes that brings about a lot of backpasses.
We all knew playing Blind in the defence was a disaster waiting to happen. Romero isn`t even better than lingaard. He can`t be our first keeper and he is thinking of selling De Gea with no replacement. He better don`t sell him for any amount Madrid brings because there`s no time. It is better we lose him for free next season.

The earlier we sack this coach the better for us. Jurgen Klopp is still available or better still allow Giggs to take over. Giggs can`t be worse than LVG.

This our champions league group made me remember 2009/2010 champions league group when we also had Wolfsburg, CSKA Moscow and Besiktas. I think Wolfsburg qualified as the Bundesliga champion.
We had injury crisis that a lot of our first and second choice players most especially defenders were out injured during the group stage.
It was so bad that Carrick had to pair Evra in the central defence.

Inspite of all the injury crisis, we still topped the group to qualify for the next round.

I don`t see any reason why we can`t top that group if LVG gets his tactics right.
