Tosyn007: Here's what I think, Edo Madara was tweaked by Kabuto, that's why his edo tensei form was young, he had rinnegan and Hashirama on his chest. If Madara was not blind, why would he want to take Sasuke's eyes? At the very least, even without any 'eye re-adjustment', he'd be awakened with an Eternal Mangekyou which he was already very skilled with. Why would he want to get rid of his own EMS and take Sasuke's version? Madara is blind right now. |
Zammydagreat: exactly...d moto G bloatwares might take up to 2gb out of the 16gb...u will be left with 14gb ....a single gameloft or ea game take up to 1.5gb data file(minimum)...u av to load oda apps in it, music, video...mehn 16gb aint enough at all...am even complaining wiv my htc dat has 16gb internal memory nd 32gb externalNot much bloat ware to speak about. It's almost stock android. You can load up 8gb of games, for example, 3gb music will still see you having up to 500+ songs. You'll typically cycle out movies you've seen. 50 music videos at 50MB each is 2.5gb. Apps aren't that demanding on your storage space. Im not saying this will fit your needs, but I don't think the situation is as dire as you think it is...and with storage space constraints, smart memory management is key. For me, what makes the Moto g a winner is Google's support (Android 4.4 kitkat coming very soon and likely support for some future updates), excellent build quality and by for the biggest dev community for any budget phone out there. More custom roms, more tweaks than you can think of. Motorola is on course to sell millions and millions of these. |
caukerzee: Did you miss the part where he said "for me"?? Doesn't matter if it's a budget phone or not. What matters is what he needs. And for me presonally, this phone doesn't match my needs. So its a big no.The way his statement is worded, he says '16gb is too small' first. Not going to argue semantics, though. If 16gb is too small for his needs, that's fair enough. |
seunwen2: My tecno m7 is more betterThis phone is a far better buy than any Tecno you can find in the market. Zammydagreat: 16gb is too small, 8gb is d worst, no sd ...its a no no 4 me16gb is perfectly fine for a budget phone. |
Dee60: Laughable, very laughable! The so called 'new lecturers' will soon start their own strike to ask for their own increase. The cane that was used on the first wife is still in the house to flog the concubine. It is a matter of time. These are not replacement lecturers, just new lecturers. Of course this has been spun in the media to 'University sacks lecturers and hires replacements' It's a testament to the shoddy way Nigeria is being run that the government lapdogs here think a University can replace their entire lecturer cadre in less than a week. |
theoctopus: You are talking trash as usual. Where you not among the people that fought on the side of the subsidy crooks? If subsidy had been removed, will we still be talking about it now? You people are responsible for taking us backwards and still come around to complain about what you caused. You are not serious! Why would I support subsidy removal? Fuel subsidy is one of the only ways the FG gives back to the masses that suffer the brunt of their misrule. I take it as a shamefaced concession by this inept government that they cannot provide refined petroleum products at an affordable price to the masses despite our status as a major oil producing state. GEJ came out to claim that fuel subsidy removal was necessary to checkmate the activities of fraudsters. What we asked for then was that the subsidy be kept in place and the corrupt individuals fished out and the rampant fraud nipped in the bud. Unfortunately, we all know how lax this administration is on corruption. I think this topic has been derailed enough already. |
theoctopus: What are you saying bro. FG should pay from where? Do you think money grows in ASO rock? FG should take the allocations of health and agric and roads to pay ASUU or what? Some of you students amaze me with your grasp of government and its workings or maybe you have just been too sensationalized by newspaper headlines to now think Nigeria has so much money kept under GEJ's bed. There is no where government is goind to get that kind of money to pay ASUU. Get that very very clearlyNo. FG should take the money being dashed to fuel subsidy crooks, ex-Niger Delta millitants and paid propagandists like yourself andn plough it into our tertiary Educational system. Good job trying for sympathy by mentioning Agric and Health. Both sectors that remain criminally underfunded while the FG wastes billions on chaff. |
Olril18: why are you always in support of ASUU sir??.the whole situation would have been better if this is their first time of striking..No. The question is, why are YOU always in support of the FG, when they are the cause of every single strike that ASUU embarks on? The FG CLEARLY doesn't care about you or the state of tertiary education in Nigeria. Why else do you think this strike lingered on for 5 months? Everything the FG is offering could have been offered in the first month of the strike. Instead the FG was more interested in letting the Minister of Education jet around, fighting internal PDP squabbles with Amaechi. I support ASUU 100% because they are fighting for the future of the Nigerian Tertiary Educational system. Nobody else is willing to take up this cause, not you, not any of the Senators 'appealing' to ASUU, not a single one of the 'Men of God' we have in Nigeria (perhaps with the exception of the Catholic Church). Apart from the earned allowances stuff they have already secured, the N200bn per annum investment the FG will make will not be collected by ASUU. This is why I personally believe anyone that claims ASUU is 'fighting for their selfish aims' is just a subhuman neanderthal with stunted intelligence. |
The biggest lie the trade union called ASUU had ever told to anyone who cared to listen was that they were fighting for the quality of education for students. The same students they've turned to slaves in their respective schools. Sex slaves, labor slaves, financial slaves. Comply or fail! Over 70% of the lecturers are openly involved in this business of forcing students to either sleep with them/sort their courses or fail....only to turn around and claim they are fighting for the students. Government has also not helped matters cos if they had not neglected their responsibilities of properly funding the universities over the years, ASUU wouldn't have used the welfare of students as their defense for their real motive. The first step to attaining quality education in our schools again is not infrastructure or whatever. It's by prosecuting all lecturers who are involved in sex or money for marks.
Yet another brainless post from you. I clearly overestimated your intelligence. |
markmira: na God go punish that guy do u know how much a galaxy s4 cost?dick head why must u insult people using cheap android phones na ur buisness?people like u end up using bb curve 2,go and and thank airtel for blocking bis on android phone na.What is it with you guys and your inferiority complex? Your poverty doesn't worry me...it is the poverty of your mind that I'm more worried about. |
iykmora: is the quoted true? Got that from narutowiki,I wouldn't be surprised. Kishi makes mistakes several times. OVer the past few months, there have been one or two releases that mistakenly show Raikage with both arms, for example. |
4llerbuntu: hahaha.Yes o, and I'm totally unfazed. Most of the people attacking me are of such stunted intelligence, it's funny. Strange how most people leave the main import of the OP and start attacking me over the 'Cheap Android phones' line. Freudian slips, all of them ![]() |
jitela: imagine this one o. cheap android my Bottom. just because you manage buy curve 2 we'll not rest Abi? anyways i'm not using airtel but mind the way you address pple.I'm not sure if it's poverty mentality or just a plain old Freudian slip that is responsible for your 'curve 2' comment. I'm not sure if it's a stunted education or just a limited IQ that is making some of you assume that I'm arguing from a Blackberry fanboy point of view. The point of my OP should be crystal clear to anyone who has received education up to the Junior Secondary School level. What's wrong with you? le Trizzle: Whats the relationship btw a phone being cheap n its rate of data comsumption?*sigh* Low cost Android smartphones are now well within the purchasing power of the masses. By far the largest bloc of users for any Nigerian network is dumbphones like the Nokia Asha, Torchlight phones etc. Now that cheaper smartphones are taking huge chunks of marketshare from the dumbphone segment, more people are using more data hungry phones. That, in a nutshell, is what I meant by that statement. Stop reading meanings that aren't there. |
rapmike: All d guys you hav mentiond r d only guys that have used d Rinnegan in d manga,so am still correct. After paralyzing Hashirama, he said "It is a Jutsu I learned from an acquaintance of an Underling of mine" Underling is most likely to be Obito Acquaintance = Nagato. It cannot be anyone from Hashirama or Madara's era because Hashirama would have known the person...or he would have known the jutsu. |
And that's what I called infringement on others right. He was fighting for his people's freedom in his own land, territory, threshold, home etc... There were no indications that he was killing innocent people.
Actually, prior to his incarceration, his armed group carried out attacks that harmed innocent people. He was arrested and tried after returning back to SA from a stint overseas to receive military training. In today's world, that would be called 'terrorist training;. Of course he became a changed man, a legend in prison and outside...and the fact that his name was on that database was merely an embarrassing error, nothing more. Not sure why there's so much of a furore over this right now, I'm pretty sure this was discussed extensively here on NL before EDIT: I was right. there are threads on this same subject dating back to 2008 |
Willyblinks: I also did give a thought about obito_reningan_ zetsu_madara stuff as a possibility.. But I need to askMadara is unquestionably blind. No other reason why he would be considering taking Sasuke's eyes (Madara had a stronger EMS before death than Sasuke's, and if he had the Rinnegan he would not need a Mangekyou Sharingan). Senjutsu allows his to 'see' pretty well, though. |
rapmike: Well, its only Rinnegan users we hav seen use those rods.Correction. It's only people who can summon the Gedo Mazou that we've seen using those rods. Pain, Obito and Madara can all summon Gedo Mazou, all have access to its secrets. There are MANY MANY plotholes in this series sha. Madara told Hashirama he learnt the technique from Nagato...but he never met Nagato as a grown up. When he was resurrected as an Edo Tensei, he said "So that brat Nagato finally grew up". Unless Black Zetsu taught him? Also as someone said, Sarutobi and Nagato were Edo Tensei'd back in their old/weak form, but madara resurrected back in his young form. Why? |
Tosyn007: Why then did he say till his eyes come back?Nah, he said until he gets back his Rinnegan. His Rinnegan is with Obito (one eye implanted in Obito's left eye, the other in Obito's lab) |
confusion247: Please kindly throw more light on how to share etisalat data plan.Just head over to any Etisalat office. Basically they'll create a clone of your SIM for use as a data only SIM. So you can use the same package for your phone and your modem/Tablet. |
ThoniaSlim: So I decided to do a bit of research on the plans and rates offered by the same Nigerian telecomm operators in other countries. Below are screenshots of their various packages. Airtel screenshot is from Kenya operations, Globacom screenshot is from Ghana operations and MTN screenshot is from Rwanda. Convert the rates to Naira and you'll understand why I'm so pissed right now! I think NCC should take this up!You know, this sums up the brainless 'horde mentality' here in this discussion. Thonia helpfully posted a comparison chart to show that ALL the Carriers in Nigeria have data plans much more expensive than in several other African countries. If nothing else, this is a clear indication that this is not an Airtel issue and that this battle should be fought at NCC level. Such a lazy, entitled lot we have here...when Rogers in Canada decided they would not carry the BlackBerry Z30, they were bombarded with tweets and emails from irate Blackberry fans and Rogers customers until they decided to back down and carry the phone. How many of you indignant fellows have bothered to mail, tweet at NCC or call in on early morning radio to exhort the NCC to step in? |
Heavenly Bang: A dick, OP.Is there really ANYTHING in my OP or subsequent posts that tells you I am a BlackBerry user? I wish you people could keep your personal insecurities and biases out of this discussion. jice: You're annoying as your presentation. were you paid to cause more chaos?Pay me to make a post on Nairaland? For the Airtel network I ported away from 3 months ago? Hilarious ![]() |
Malawian: wow, an anonymous "professor". you just summed up yourself nicely.Actually, he's only ever been interested in 'summing' himself up as an anonymous ASUU member. Thanks a lot, Captain Obvious ![]() |
adonismuller: good,I commend your effort in that link, that's what I expected of u, be that as it may, your comments on this trend attacking students and making sentimental comments did not depict professionalism,To be fair, as a self proclaimed graduate, I expect a lot better from you. I expect market women to parrot the 'ASUU are greedy' mantra. Not someone who says he has been educated to MSc level. |
adonismuller: smh...you are really proud!!!! You wana know the school I graduated from S̴̩☺ that you can compare with yours? He has been here educating you ungrateful lot on the need for the strike action. Go through his post history if you doubt him. You need to lay off him. He sounds like the real deal, exactly the type of lecturer we need to turn things around. |
this isn't about Madara vs Nagato... it's about the Rinnegan... Madara may defeat Nagato in battle...but when it comes to skill in using the Rinnegan... Nagato has the edge...Madara may have done the Jitsu with his eyes closed..but its because of the eyes he was able to perform the Jutsu.. without having the Rinnegan he can't pull of that Jutsu....Kakashi has actually copied an opponent's Jutsu before with his sharingan closed.... and Nagato had huge chakra levels...that was very obvious... that's how he was able to control six bodies.... there's no way you can say Madara's chakra levels was greater than Nagato.... and yes...Pein's chakra may have already been severely drained...but clearly that wouldn't have changed the outcome.... even if he was at full chakra, the result would be the same...Naruto busted out of Chibaku tensei... a few rods wouldn't have held him down
Madara does NOT have the Rinnegan right now. He is blind, he was resurrected with no eyes (he gave his eyes to Nagato before he died) |
when it comes to the Rinnegan Madara no reach Nagato..... and if Naruto could withstand those chakra rods with ease...why can't Hashirama wey be God of shinobi..... smh
Madara doesn't need to use the Rinnegan to crush Nagato. This isn't really about Rinnegan usage. Madara did the jutsu without having any eyes. It's about how powerful your chakra is. And Madara's chakra levels are much greater than Nagato's. Like rapmike said above, Pain used just ONE rod on Naruto, Pain's chakra was already severely drained from using the paths, Naruto used the Kyuubi + Sage Mode technique to break free. Combination of Madara's chakra +5 rods + element of surprise was enough to halt hashirama. |
LORDVEST: to thread creator:You are right about this being an 'unnecessary feedback'. I'm not sure why you're so defensive...I can only conclude you really do use a low cost Android device. I must re-iterate that there is nothing wrong with using a low cost Android phone. I've moved from a HTC One X > Galaxy S3 > Galaxy Note 2 > Galaxy S4 in the past 2 years. Feel free to pick out the 'cheap Android device' out of that lot ![]() |
Olril18: you are a fool in denial...d questions still remain, did all the rubbish trash uve written here justify that ASUU are right to keep us at home for six monthsAh, I remember you. This will not end the way you think it will. I will not trade insults with you...you who are far beneath me. I will only express sympathy for you. I see from your posting history that you have just gained admission to study Law in one of the state universities in the South West...perhaps you have been dreaming of this day for years now, when you can run away to school and dance skelewu outside your hostel. Perhaps even get a Jambite babe to toast ![]() ...then the ASUU strike occurred. Suddenly you're not in anyway concerned about the decaying labs in the Science and Engineering department. You care nothing about the decrepit chairs in the dental laboratory. You are not fazed by the fact that Computer Engineering students have to make do with old, rusting Pentium 2 computers donated way back in 2001. You think to yourself "what business is it of a lawyer to be if the patient examination chairs in the Optometry department no longer elevate pneumatically". Some of us care, though. We want the Universities to get better, because it is from the crop of the graduates that technological innovations can spring from. Because better trained Engineers and Doctors can save lives. Because when brilliant students go back to lecture, the cycle continues and Nigeria gets better. It is because only with a revolution in this sector that we can finally make good on the "giant of Africa" claim. Heck, even lawyers will benefit immensely from more salubrious lecture halls. But here you are, just wanting to resume as a Jambite and dance skelewu in front of the hostel. I sympathize with you...though this is a selfish dream. Thanks to this ASUU you abuse on a daily basis on Nairaland, your University will receive nothing less than a billion Naira for capital projects yearly. That could allow them install power generators so you can read with electricity...and charge your deck so you can dance skelewu and entertain your babe. They could revamp your library. Your lecturers will earn more, a happy lecturer is less likely to be cynical, jaded and mean. Basically, you could leave your University after 5 years a much better finished product because of these 5 months of struggle. So, yes, I will not trade insults with you. I sympathize with you. But you must refrain from calling me a f00l in the future. It's clear to anyone who has eyes that I am on a higher intellectual rung than you are right now, and it makes you look even worse when you use that insult. |
Sagytarius: You could have made ur points without being condescending!I've been an Android user since 2010. I do not use a BlackBerry anymore. I apologize if the 'cheap Android' line is being construed as condescending. That said, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the right kind of 'cheap Android' phone. The Quad Core MTK6589 phones from Tecno et al are pretty solid devices, and one of the best value for money handsets you can buy right now is the Motorola Moto G for just $199 for the 16GB variant. |
Rasheed02: By the grace of God,you shall never become a leader in Nigeria,so because u have got some stinking change in ur monkey pocket,u think d nxt thing u can do nw is to sarcastically make jest of ppl who sees nairaland as a voice for the voiceless nigerians.this dollop-head is one of those killing d confidence of our youths in voicing their dismay at the exploitative nature of our communication companies among other social decays.so,d fact that Airtel general data plans are fairly cheaper than her counterparts is an excuse for blocking a plan that is indisposable to all and sundry? Anyway i'm not surprised,an adage says,WHEN LIFE IS GOOD FOR A MAN,HE BECOMES BAD.by d grace of God,i knw we shall survive dis sudden deprivation, eni tio se bi alaaru loyingbo kole se bi adegboro loja oba.if u dnt have any meaningful thing to write on a topic,u had better take caution with ur seemingly retarded fingers or maybe brains, selfish ppl like u are d one of d problems affecting d nigerian populace.olowo igbo.#mtchewww#You need to slow down and re-read my OP carefully. If you cannot read or comprehend written English, have a friend read it out to you. Make sure they dwell on the part where I called for more affordable data plans for smartphones. Rasheed02: so,d fact that Airtel general data plans are fairly cheaper than her counterparts is an excuse for blocking a plan that is indisposable to all and sundry? But that IS the point! Airtel's BIS was NEVER meant for you to use on your non Blackberry phone, it is NOT an official plan for your smartphone. Using it is an exploit (not a 'cheat', big difference) Airtel allowed this to continue, and gave sufficient notice before blocking that loophole. It is human nature to dismayed and disappointed, but this backlash is not really needed. This has nothing to do with whether I have 'change in my pocket' or not. Rasheed02: u think d nxt thing u can do nw is to sarcastically make jest of ppl who sees nairaland as a voice for the voiceless nigerians.Nairaland a 'voice for the voiceless Nigerians'? ![]() IMHO, it'd be far more effective for you to gather a few of your like-minded cohorts and march with placards to the NCC office. See, that's how things get done. Rasheed02: one of those killing d confidence of our youths in voicing their dismay at the exploitative nature of our communication companiesExcept a common mantra here is "I'll break my SIM and move to MTN" So...no, you're not 'voicing your dismay at the exploitative nature of our communication companies'. You're picking on Airtel alone. |
Hashirama is weak tho...Naruto had one of those Chakra rods in him while he was very close to Nagato...in Nagato's hideout... and Nagato tried to control him...but Naruto resisted rather easily... sad how Hashirama was easily subdued...
LMAO at you equating Madara to Nagato. Madara will kill Nagato with his eyes closed and one hand tied behind his back. With ease. At that range, with a jutsu unknown to Hashirama and 5 chakra rods through his back, Hashirama had no chance. Don't forget Hashirama was winning the fight (draining Madara's chakra with the wooden dragon) before Madara got ressurrected. |
SageNaruto: ^^^ sori, my mistake. I thot madara pulled him using shinra tensei, but goin thru it now I see dat madara actually went 2 where he was kneeling...Yeah. Check this out https://i10.mangapanda.com/naruto/656/naruto-4596735.jpg Basically Madara stuck him with the Chakra rods in the last episode, but Hashirama didn't bother taking them out because his wood dragon nullified Madara's attempt to use that to absorb chakra (or so he thought) Hashirama had no way of knowing about Nagato (Pain's) Jutsu that allowed control of someone else via those rods. I doubt Pain could have managed to hold Hashirama (he couldnt even hold Naruto) but Madara's chakra is much more powerful than Pain's own...and at full strength + Senju power, not even Hashirama could resist. Easy fix is for the dumbass Naruto or Sai to remove the rods from his back. |
