babyface333: After reading this childish write-up i have come to the conclusion that this dino is a child like femi fani-kayode.

Those in the so-called progressives are children. Imagine what a grown_a.ss kid is writing for public consumption.
The same way femi kayode writes articles on women. Or is adams oshiomhole who told a widow to go and die. Oh sorry, i forgot this cradle-robber who changes every 2years 15years old children.

I pity women that will vote for this proggressives. I pity them, voting for them is death to women rights from 8years old to the rest.
What an epistle!
I too have come to a conclusion. You're daft.

Lol, why would anyone look up to Mr Melaye?
The man no be role model at all. He does have his uses, though. Even though his 'anti-corruption' stance obviously has an agenda, at least someone strident is asking the tough questions and getting heard.

Rekeb: Shame on you Mr Melaye. How do you think your children will feel when they read your twitter post?
Likely not as bad as the kids will feel when they read the divorce papers posted on the web by his wife? Some of the descriptions there were quite lurid.

At least his twitter post is deliberately ambiguous. The divorce papers are not.

On a lighter note, it pays to be handsome and charismatic. When Frank Edoho's wife came out with tales of battery, even the ladies on Nairaland were heaping abuse on the wife and claiming it was all lies. When that COZA Pastor's scandal broke, the Pastor was stoutly defended by hundreds of Nairalanders. It seems Mr Melaye is not handsome or charismatic enough to elicit that level of support from the Naija social media crowd. cheesy
He calls himself an activist for the rights of people. He has threatened her life and has brutally assaulted her and she is asking that she be allowed to live her life without fear of him. He is stripping away not just the rights she has as a citizen of Nigeria but her God given right as a human being. He has broken the law. Does that matter to you? Should we turn a blind eye because it is just a "crack" in a marriage? Should we turn a blind eye because Chime built roads in Enugu when you know that if it were in any other place were human beings had rights he would have to explain exactly what medications he authorized to be used on his wife. Should we turn a blind eye that Yerima has a new child to screw whenever he gets the itch because what again? Yes. People are happy with other things they are doing. They are building roads and that's all that matters now? Dino Malaye or whatever the hell he is called is not just a lousy husband. He is is a criminal. Do you people even understand that what he is being accused of is criminal. It's not just being a bad husband. A bad husband is a drunk. A bad husband does not provide. This man is being accused of criminal behavior. A criminal cannot serve the people. A philandering husband and a savage criminal are two totally different things.
1. Learn to distinguish between a fact and an allegation
2. My comments were directed at those who insinuated that marital bliss is a prerequisite to making any sort of political contribution. You're the one making the grievous error of construing this to mean I am indifferent to spousal abuse. I should rip you a new one for even trying to weave in Yerima's paedophilia in this matter, but I'm too weary for that.

Wife beating is a cowardly, terrible thing to do. In fact, it IS assault and remains a criminal offence. Criminals should not be allowed to roam free to pontificate on National issues. But until these allegations are proven, Dino Melaye cannot be called a criminal without exposing yourself to charges of libel.

Please note the statement in bold font very well.

obadiah777: leave politics out of it ? a man who cant control his home has no business trying to control other people
Quick question: Has Mr Melaye told you he plans to run for office in the future? Does speaking out against corruption constitute 'trying to control other people'?

I won't even dwell on the absurdity of your argument. A man may be a poor husband and yet be an excellent administrator. If the rumor mill is correct, oshiomhole is quite the active gentleman. Yet his people sing his praises. You think his alleged personal moral failings are of any import to them?

Promhize: Butt licker, why take other people's opinion personal. Worthless soul so u just had to chip in tribalism anyhow.

What are you trying to defend? A man happy that his children would have to live their life through separate parents?

Don't forget the wife filed divorce and not him. I don't even know why I'm trying to reason with such a dummy like you.
You thrice-accursed m0r0n! Show me where I made any statement that can be construed as 'tribalism' by any sane mind.

In case this wisdom hasn't sunk into your addled brain, This is the Politics section of Nairaland. We do not settle domestic issues here. i made the perfectly logical point that domestic issues have no bearing on his political leanings. If this is too hard for you to comprehend, may I suggest you focus more on improving your comprehension skills?
Politics › Re: Dino Melaye Happy Over Divorce Filed By His Wife by texazzpete(m): 5:37pm On Dec 17, 2013
Way too many dolts on Nairaland. What has his being a 'progressive' or 'APC member' got to do with anything?

Some of you are so shameless in your imbecility. Not a single one of your past leaders has had any visible crack in their marriage. Did that stop them from pillaging your state or emptying the Government coffers?
Most Enugu people sing praises of Chime. You think his marital issues comes into question when they are looking at a new road he has built?

Condemn Dino for being a lousy husband or possibly being a bully if the allegations his wife has made are true. Leave politics out of this completely.

Very stupid journalist indeed.
It's not your fault. You live in a country where your journalists cringe and bow and scrape before your politicians. Instead of praising this journalist for at least having the cojones to ask tough questions, you're here condemning him.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that question, just the way it was couched. The discussion was already trending towards fashion, clothes, jewelry etc. If the Journalist had put it like "Some of your critics say you bleach" that would have been more professional. But let's stop damning these journalists for asking tough questions.

I know my fellow country men will crucify me here for this statement, but as you type on your device, remember that 90% of the components of your device are mathematical derivatives/programmes.
Please stop seeking for an excuse for your ineptitude. Your 'french man' analogy was extremely dumb. English is our official language, spanish is NOT an official language in France.
As befitting its status as an official language, English is taught to everyone who is supposedly formally educated from infancy to University level. Inability to speak or write decent English after more than 15 years of education SHOULD be derided and the intelligence of the offending party must be questioned.

I wish this would be the last time someone makes this kind of statement, but i've been on NL since 2007 and I know every once in a while, someone pops up to make this same silly comment.

Politics › Re: Abia Distributes 202 Cars To Youths by texazzpete(m): 3:01pm On Dec 12, 2013
The people of Abia are suffering from the seeds of their laziness. One would have thought they would emulate the people of Imo that threw out Ohakim despite his desperate attempt to rig. Or the people of Oyo that cast aside Alao-Akala despite rigging and intimidation from the remnants of Adedibu's thugs.
Perhaps one thought the people of Abia would be as determined as the Edo State folks that have sworn never to vote for a PDP Governor after the 8 harrowing years of Lucky Igbinedion (Curses Be Upon Him!)

They had their chance, and still turned around to vote for Orji.

2015 is right around the corner. I expect the people of Abia to grow some cojones and vote someone sensible into power for once.

patriotic007: GEJ is the first president that has ever made an attempt to solve Nigeria's numerous problems,...that alone makes him the best so far
You mean like how he's massively overhauled the Nigerian health services to the extent that every single member of the FEC receives all medical care in Nigeria?

Or how he solved the ASUU strike issue within weeks? Or how he's conclusively solved the bunkering issue

That's great news. For a second I nearly confused him with the President who plans to take steps to raise price of imported cars by over 60% so that the struggling masses can only afford ramshackle, old gas guzzlers.
so far it's only been established that Hashirama can only absorb chakra through the use of his wood dragon technique...his wood dragon is the one that actually does the absorbing... Hashirama has never absorbed the chakra himself.... so that kinda nullifies your argument.... cos without Hashirama's wood dragon it means that Madara is absorbing the chakra via Rinnegan ninjutsu....without having an active Rinnegan... So kishi has just succeeded in making the whole thing confusing.. hopefully he'll clear everything up in subsequent chapters
Good thing this last manga just proved me right cheesy

Anyway, it has NEVER been said that Hashirama can only absorb chakra through his wooden dragon. He uses the Wooden dragon to BOTH Restrain and Absorb. That's why he's used it against the 9 tails, against Susanoo and against Madara.

There is absolutely NOWHERE it is stated that Hashirama cannot absorb chakra from touch alone. In fact, I fully expect him to have this ability.

That said, It's kinda crazy that Madara is pulling off Mangekyou tech like the Susanoo without having the a Sharingan at all.

Thanks.
Can you explain why in the past few months all your efforts are directed against APC governors while PDP Governors are spared your scrutiny?

Don't get me wrong. The lot of them are crooked. But when you pick one group constantly for your diatribes, it is certainly suspicious.

WHy am I not surprised seeing this is coming from a supporter of the AUTOCRATS in the former ACN who have merged with their fellow DICTATORS in APC huh
Since you do not understand the BASICS of how government works in a DEMOCRATIC setting I guess it is pointless discussing further with you until you get MORE education thereon.
I continually mourn the old anonimi who once stood for justice. Now you're just one of many PDP lapdogs.

How did they get to you? Money? Fine babes? Did someone promise you a council slot someday?

Once you railed against all 'hooligans in power'. Now you complain against only one against one set of hooligans while your corrupt paymasters get kudos from you.

Either way, this is a topic that touches Nigeria's foreign policy. Nothing to do with PDP or APC, just how shabbily Nigerians as a whole are treated by South Africa. Keep on topic or STFU.

Hashirama's DNA?
hashirama can use his wood tech to absorb chakra. Possibly, Madara is employing that.

Bottom line is, there are plausible reasons why Madara may be absorbing chakra without the rinnegan. There is no plausible reason why Madara would have the Rinnegan yet want to take sasuke's eyes.
