jusRadical: Please don't insult the woman.'Achievements' aren't just about money. Mother Theresa never commanded the wealth and power Okonjo-Iweala has, she will remain remembered and revered long after Mrs Iweala is dust. Perhaps you'd throw your mother under the bus for her...but I'm pretty sure @4chi is perfectly happy with his own mother. When I think about NOI, I only remember her bare-faced lies during the fuel subsidy crisis. I think you people need to get your priorities in order. All I am interested in is a good Nigeria to leave to my children. To me, anyone who stands in the way of that is scum! |
Ola edo: “These sectoral policies have included reduced import duty rates or waivers for equipment and materials for the hospitality, power and aviation sectors; for agricultural machinery; for solid mineral equipment; for gas-using equipment; for the steel sector; for specific manufacturing sub-sectors (e.g. for imports of completely-knocked down parts) and for automobiles and tires. Can Mrs Okonjo-Iweala explain why they are granting waivers or reduced import rates for importation of automobiles, while at the same time trying to increase duty rates for vehicles for the common man? They babble on and on about transformation in the Autos sphere necessitating an increase in import duties yet grant waivers for cars for the Government that should even be the No 1 patron of locally manufactured automobiles! Such a clueless, insensitive Government...and that includes Okonjo-iweala too. |
Just thought about this, and i'm fairly confident this is a cooked up story, or the clueless OP is being lied to. How does she fail an exam THRICE and still be in 300L? If the lecturer fails her when she writes the exam, what is the benefit of hiring a 'mercenary'? Isn't it the same script the lecturer will still mark in his office and fail, if her story is true? I feel sorry for the OP. It's patently clear that the lady was caught doing exam malpractice and is trying to use harassment as a cover. Another thing...If the lecturer didn't report the malpractice right after the exam, on what grounds is he going to report it in the future? |
vislabraye: And this is the same ASUU people are trying to defend. Is ASUU truly interested in the students' welfare ? They want the govt to be fair with them, but are the fair with the students ?Yep, I defend ASUU vigorously to stem the falling standards of education in our University. If you were truly being educated properly, you'd know the imbecility of assuming every single one of the thousands of lecturers that make up ASUU are exactly like this lecturer. One has to wonder if this story is even true. It seems more like an excuse cooked up by a lazy student who has failed an exam thrice. Any result can be 'contested' in Uniben. If she's sure she wrote well, that option is available to her. |
Eneze1: beautiful and flawlessErm...That's because the photos are airbrushed. You too can look flawless if you're handy with PhotoShop ![]() PS: I'm not saying she doesn't look good or isn't beautiful. I'm tackling the 'flawless' part. |
GEJ has to take the blame for this. there's no way in God's green earth he isn't aware of this. Tragic. This rampant bunkering is where 90% of the oil spillage and water pollution occcurs in the ND. Then those FoE mumus will be blaming Mobil et al. |
Gombs: So far ngige will loose, let pdp rig it o!And this is why Nigeria will ALWAYS remain backward. This is why i laugh in the face of all those Lagos based prosperity preachers that assure their gullible congregation that "Nigeria will become very great" Your motivation should be getting a very good Governor for your state to ensure the massive potential in your peoples are harnessed to move the state forward, to provide good security and deliver excellent education and health care for your folks. Instead you are driven by spite and hatred. I don't care who you vote for, just vote for the right goddamn reasons and not on such shallow grounds. Gombs: Imagine Rochas, Tinubu, and of all people Buhari in Anambra state on a weekly or even daily basisYou have no isses with the likes of Anenih, Tukur et al? |
Jenams: u r a sycophant! My NASS rep built lecture halls fully furnished in all our community schools, community bore holes in strategic locations and even awarded a contract to grade roads in my constituency. And yet u say it is nt a lawmaker's responsibility to provide social amenities! Mr ITK, do u knw hw much our NASS members collect for constituency projects annually? U r a syncophant I repeat. You would have had a point if the man in question was a member of the NASS and receives the bloated 'constituency allowance' that assembly is infamous four. This lawmaker belongs to the Katsina state house of assembly and is from the opposition party. So his point stands that you seemingly have an issue with comprehending written English. |
sentence a motorist for breaking traffic rules? even jungles dont administer such foolish judgements
'sentence' does not mean 'imprisonment'. It could (and will likely) be a fine... |
So someone broke the law to 'entrap' a corrupt LASTMA officer? Good. Sack the Lastma offical. Arrest the motorist for breaking the law. Try him and sentence him. That is how Justice should be dispensed. It will be a great travesty if the motorist goes scot-free. |
Ugom38: thank You but all i know is dat islamic banking will die with his departure from CBN and NigeriaErm...The process for bringing Islamic Banking in Nigeria started with Soludo, a Christian! |
Ugom38: well it is the best infact he shouldnt cum back,at least his plan to islamise Nigeria will be curtailedYes. The Almighty has His reasons for making you this daft. |
fckyourman: My ignorance and willingness?, Bros that should be you. you're a buying a story that a multibillnoaire will become a lecturer ? after stealing from CBN Bank. Some of your brains cells are really missing to know see the catch.I have NEVER seen anywhere apart from Nairaland where mentally addled people are so proud and loud to show off their ignorance. Tons of Petroleum Engineers I know who have worked 30+ years in the industry head back to lecture...it's their way of giving back. I pity you and your poverty mentality. After making mad money, many people head towards self-fulfillment at the end of the day. Not everyone becomes an Anenih, clinging to the limelight after being drunk on power. |
Gorrbachev: Its difficult to make sense of what this faceless vanguard writer wrote. Who are these cabals, amorphous groups etc that are after Stella Oduah? They don't exist. He made them up. It's the way of our thieving elite; make up 'cabals' and 'cliques' that are behind their self-inflicted travails. Have you forgotten so soon how Ibori's problems with the law were being blamed on his political foes? Or how Alams supporters wrote tons of articles claiming bias and witchhunting...even when it was proven he had looted more than N50billion Naira? Didn't Bode George blame cabals and enemies the second he was released from jail? These are old tricks. They aren't fooling anyone. ![]() |
I'm sorry your memory is so short-lived, but the house of reps inquisition was just a week or two away...and we all remember the conflicting tales and the damaging revelations we heard. You are right that there is more to this than meets the eye. We still - for example - need to know what Oduah's PA claimed the cars were for her safety. We still need to know why supposed death threats were not reported. Thanks for reporting on her 'reformation agenda'. We see the fruits in the aeons it is taking for the Port Harcourt airport renovations to be completed. We see the abysmal quality of the new GAT terminal in the local lagos airport. We see the increasingly POOR safety record under her administration. Safety is always first...nearly 200 dead already. The House has rightly called for her dismissal. If Oduah's best efforts are stemming from GEJ's agenda, surely he can pick someone else to carry on that grand vision, and not cling to her because she supported his campaign with a MASSIVE and expensive propaganda effort. |
So this mumu is not even ashamed to start babbling about 'naval boats' and 'fighter jets' All these people are so desperate to impress the simple-minded. A Helicopter is infinitely more useful for monitoring the elections than a fighter jet, for example. What does he need navy vessels for? Why Tanks? Why not APCs? Rubbish |
BARRISTER DAN: ASUU call off the strike, but they refused. Fg give ASUU their money, but they refused. Instead, they prefer keeping innocent students at home and parents hope high. I hope this is an eye opener to them for taking the nation for granted. Is the Professor still going to enjoy his "earned" allowance? R.I.P anyway. Agwa nti ma onughi...You thrice accursed m0r0n! |
Israelmossaic: Sometimes, I suspect this America. When insurgency was raging in d north, they were silent. When UN buildiing was bombed, and French citizens kidnapped, nothing was heard from them. I recall that CAN leadership had since campaigned for this sect to be so branded but they turned deaf ear.Congratulations. Your post is now officially the dumbest post on Nairaland for the month of October. Over 80 students killed in their beds in the past 3 months alone. Hundreds of villagers killed. Nearly 100' civilian jtf' slain. A brazen three-pronged attack on an army HQ. Tens of JTF slain. Yet you say the war is 'won'? I'm Confused. You write well, like someone who has received a decent amount of education. Why such an inane post? |
But, but I thought InSincere9igerian and his cohorts made a post recently to say the airports have been fully rejuvenated under the current Aviation minister. Seems more like hot air than fresh air PS: In before the likes of Elueme, Sincere9igerian and Taharqa come here to call Omojuwa a known saboteur ![]() |
SELFWORTH: Psalm 109:7-10 May your prayers condemned you before my God.LMAO. The demented prayers of a maniac have no effect on me. You're already well established on the path of raining abuse and curses at your betters. An unfulfilled life awaits you at this rate ![]() Please let's get back on topic. Rest In Peace, Sir. A true Gentleman and Scholar |
SELFWORTH: If the government sticks to its guns, are the lecturers ready to deal with the consequences? The N220bn per annum the Government is proposing to invest...not a penny goes to ASUU. Shows how little you know. Not everything is about your precious Jonathan administration. This man has been an activist since the Babangida days, and he's also an award winning writer. Show some respect for your betters and leave this thread free from your sycophancy. |
SELFWORTH: God didn't ask them to continue the strike. The strike continued because of selfishness and not selflessness.May the same God you recklessly invoke punish you brutally for your criminal lack of common sense. |
Sincere 9gerian: You shameless liar. Read how the strike was called and the REASONS below:When they went on strike, they had ONE common agenda in mind. Actualizing the legally 2009 agreement which was also endorsed by your master GEJ. After 4 months of strike, their demands have not been fully met. FG has put forward a COMPROMISE solution which is different from what ASUU members agreed on. Is it now so difficult for your addled brain to comprehend why they now need to hold a referendum and hold discussions on calling off the strike, when their chief goals have not yet been met? For weeks you have babbled on about them meeting the FG halfway. Now they are holding internal discussions to consider the FG's proposals, you're making noise. Anytime I think I've seen the depths of your silliness, you one-up yourself. Bravo. |
pendusky: ".... .Although the governmentThe allowances have been agreed to long ago. They are relatively trivial. The reason the strike has been on for so long now is the capital injection the FG agreed to inject in the University system in the 2009 agreement. That is yet to be delivered yet. |
Idi Amin: If he had been in classroom teaching, would this have happened. A family man driving that far just to attend a silly meeting is absolute ma#dnessYou thrice accursed m0r0n! Keep quiet and join your betters to mourn a decent man. |
pendusky: the president? or which chapter? with the money they wan inject into their system they cant board a flight? hope not trueI was going to tell you that it's been mentioned repeatedly that the money ASUU is fighting for isn't going to their pocket... But you know, I can't be bothered anymore. I knew him. He was a Gentleman and a Scholar and he always fought for what he believed was the right thing. Fearless and courageous. RIP |
I do my best not to get fixated on any one individual on Nairaland, but I've got to say I just can't understand what makes people like you tick.
*cough* Money *cough* |
Sincere 9gerian: If they dont accept the proposal, the president should sack all of them and rebuild the universities with lecturers that will be employed under new terms. You've always been one of little intelligence. Thanks for confirming it to all and sundry |
bright007: mumu...Havent you read that "If the Lord does not watch over the city, the watchman watchet in vain".Simply put,if the Lord does not approve that the stem transplant be successful, the doctor is just embarking on a futile operation.I hope you realize that your logic is also saying the Lord approves of every successful armed robbery episode too? This is a thorny issue (why good or bad things happen). It's a topic you're advised to steer clear of before one of the NL atheists descends on you ![]() |
fiizznation: what is dis one saying? Why dnt u go to NTA NETWORK NEWS and start cryingI apologize. I should have posted in pidgin English so your addled brain can comprehend. |
