santity100: How is she being treated unjustly ?

She is having mental problems, don't you understand the meaning of mental ni ? She was lock up in a room with doctors monitoring her OR do you want him to take her to Psycho home ?

He granted a press briefing and told us his reasons, still people like you were still ranting..

And he sent her to her parent ..

What do you want him to do ?

They should be living together so that one night, she will strangle him to death abi ?

Na madness we dey talk o, no be typhoid or hiv or malaria ..

I wonder what you would have done if you were Chime ...
SO why doesn't he send her overseas for the best medical care? WHen he was sick, didn't he travel out for the best care money could provide? Why is his wife not extended the same courtesy? Doesn't the perks of being Governor cover medical expenses for the entire first family?

Why are you so casual to call this 'madness'? Having some mental disorder doesn't make one 'mad'. This is the kind of insensitivity to others that is rife in Nigeria.

Ymodulus: Must h

the same question i was about asking.

No mind the dumb boy. He needs to be shot.
I think the only dumbo here is you.

I do not think President Goodluck Jonathan is doing a good job. I think PDP sucks. I moved from staying up all night for GEJ at the PDP primaries to being bitterly dissapointed at the leadership he is providing. I am not a big fan and I will likely not receive any xmas cards from Aso Rock.

However, I try to do the right thing. I know where the limits of criticism ends. YOU DO NOT.

Your 'he needs to be shot' line can EASILY be construed as an attempt to incite violence against the President's family. You WOULD receive feedback from the Secret Service if this was America. As it stands, you're giving the SSS ample legal grounds to arrest and detain you if they deem fit. .

And that's just dumb. As the NSA leaks proved, they can find you if they want to.

It is not a crime to come to Nairaland to call GEJ a 'retardeen' as many here do. It is grounds for arrest when you post a picture of GEJ with your hand waving a knife in the foreground. Learn the difference and stay free.

1. Controls for movement are way too small. It should have been easier and better to just map the controls to either side of the screen.

2. You've made the design decision to center the character on the screen, but that's an issue as you spawn enemies directly above the character. As a result, it's often inevitable that you'll take damage.

3. no hit detection on the 'fire' you send to enemies

4. 'Ose, Adupe' gets too repetitive.

5. Some Crazy screen jitter when the mirror is deployed. Also fails to come out fast enough. Final boss battle keeps the babalawo extremely close to the boss, so deploying the mirror fast enough is a challenge. It is NOT helped by the fact that the 'fire' button is over the boss at this point, so your thumb obscures your view of any visual cue.

Played on a Galaxy S4.

Note that I'm only pointing out the negatives because if you fix these, it becomes a much better game. It's pretty decent as it is already and I commend your efforts. Good job!

Anyone babbling about 'publicity stunt' is only exposing his ignorance in public.

Well before he became the Pope, he was already well renowned for his humility and consideration for the poor

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Francis

Throughout his life, both as an individual and as a religious leader, Bergoglio has been noted for his humility, his concern for the poor, and his commitment to dialogue as a way to build bridges between people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and faiths.[4][5][6] He is known for having a simpler and less formal approach to the papacy, most notably by choosing to reside in the Domus Sanctae Marthae guesthouse rather than the papal apartments of the Apostolic Palace formerly used by his predecessors. In addition, he is known for favoring simpler vestments void of ornamentation, by starting to refuse the traditional papal mozzetta cape upon his election.[7][8]
Pope Francis, according to news reports summarizing the August 2013 La Civiltà Cattolica interview, claims the Church has concentrated on supervising sex, particularly abortion, contraception and homosexuality while neglecting other important teachings, notably the duty to help those who are poor and marginalized.[9][10][11]
Joagbaje: Does your pope fly commercial plane? They even have to custom build a special bullet proof car for him, what's the name again? Popecade or something . Whatever.
He certainly doesn't own a private jet. The Vatican charters a plane from Alitalia (italian airline) and uses that for the trip. The chartered plane has NO special modifications for the Pope, no bar, no office room, no jacuzzi.

The Popemobile is a standard SUV with a modification to allow the Pope stand up or sit up and be in full view of the crowd. naturally, it is bulletproof after the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II. It's nowhere near the stretch limos or exotic SUVs many of the prominent MOGs you worship command.

Joagbaje: Laying empty hands on empty head it's not bible.

Besides pastors do lay hands on sick . Except if they are many. You heal the sick by laying hands and you drive out devils by command . It's not every sick case that requires hand laying . Jesus didn't lay hands on every body.
Actually, showing empathy for the sick, the poor and the downtrodden IS 'Bible'. Since you subscribe to the false doctrine that tells your congregation that being poor or sick is sinful, I'm not surprised you're blinded to some key aspects of Christianity.

Joagbaje: I don't have problem with your rejoicing over public photograph . It's good pope packaging . But if you want to criticise others by using your photograph as standard for Christianity Think twice . Ministers do touch when such need arise but it's a touch for cure.
Actually, it IS the gold standard for Christianity. 80% of Jesus Parables were on charity and love for your fellow man. None on tithing, sowing seeds etc. It is a testament to the false Christianity you profess that you lean towards the worldly side of things.

It's ironical that you babble on about 'packaging' when your Pastor made his bones from careful packaging and prominent media product placement cheesy. This Pope has NEVER needed 'packaging'. His stout defence of the poor and needy has always been in place since when he was an ordinary Bishop in Argentina.

Contrast that with your current CAN president receiving an opulent Private Jet he does not need while tens of thousands of his worshippers were suffering in intense agony from the deadly floods that swept through parts of his state.

Kenny4lyfe: 1 Gazillion likes!!!
Pure publicity stunt and people are swallowing it hook line and sinker!

To us touching the untouchables of this world is a task and a must!
(This reminds me of the lyrics of a song that's so dear to my heart)
Jesus reached to embrace the hopeless lepers and they were healed! It's not enough for us to pray at night hoping that everything will be alright in the world; we MUST reach out, take the victims in our hands. We must touch "the unclean" whether we like it or not because Jesus in us is all the hope they've got! And we don't need to show off while we're at it! Little wonder Paul said; Christ in you the Hope of Glory!
And you heal them first by putting them in a 'healing school' first, eh?

Don't be so hasty to rep churches that put more of an emphasis on making money than carrying out acts of Christian charity.

It's funny the reaction these pictures generate. I saw this article on international media days ago, and the Pope was being extolled for his humility. Come to Nairaland and he's being pilloried by followers of 'prosperity preachers' with well publicised (but poorly verified) 'miracles'.

I wonder the rationale for posting this topic when it is clear that what this man died for has not yet been realized and will probably never be realized.

See his words below

On trial also is the Nigerian nation, its present rulers and those who assist them. Any nation which can do to the weak and disadvantaged what the Nigerian nation has done to the Ogoni, loses a claim to independence and to freedom from outside influence. I am not one of those who shy away from protesting injustice and oppression, arguing that they are expected in a military regime. The military do not act alone. They are supported by a gaggle of politicians, lawyers, judges, academics and businessmen, all of them hiding under the claim that they are only doing their duty, men and women too afraid to wash their pants of urine.

We all stand on trial, my lord, for by our actions we have denigrated our Country and jeopardized the future of our children. As we subscribe to the sub-normal and accept double standards, as we lie and cheat openly, as we protect injustice and oppression, we empty our classrooms, denigrate our hospitals, fill our stomachs with hunger and elect to make ourselves the slaves of those who ascribe to higher standards, pursue the truth, and honour justice, freedom, and hard work. I predict that the scene here will be played and replayed by generations yet unborn. Some have already cast themselves in the role of villains, some are tragic victims, some still have a chance to redeem themselves. The choice is for each individual.
it is a shame indeed. From those who are wailing in this same thread, I recognize those who start ethnic wars on Nairaland. I see those who regularly excoriate the likes of ASUU even when it is clear that our universities are abysmal. I see those who castigate doctors and Nurses for demanding better welfare even when it is clear that our Hospitals have primitive equipment and de-motivated medical personnel.
I see those who only support the Government of the day because "he is my kinsman".
I see those who have sold their conscience for money. The ones that open threads praising any of the Governors that butters their bread.

Saro-Wiwa talked about leaving a legacy for our Children. Well, I see people here who are not bothered in the slightest that nearly 150,000 barrels of oil is stolen daily, oil that is a non-renewable resource. Well, we still meet our OPEC quota, but that oil will NEVER be available for your children.

Make no bones about it. As Saro-Wiwa says, you're on trial too. We will all reap the whirlwind. Well, some more than others cheesy

99.9% of these are fake. Heck, 100% are fake.
Ditto for this sudden rash of people who claim to have visited hell fire. They always see the same prominent celebrities and Men of God roasting in the fires.

I commend them, though. it is a viable business strategy, to take advantage of the natural gullibility built into the supposedly street-smart Nigerians. Once it becomes a matter of religion or superstition, common sense flies out of the window.

It is not uncommon to see Msc and Phd holding Nigerians paying huge sums to their Pastors to 'ransom their first born from God' or other such outlandish methods of coaxing monies. Excellent business strategies indeed.

You do not need sneak peeks to know what's coming.

Mediatek hasn't released their next generation of SoCs, so ALL their next few phones will ship with the Mediatek 6589 chipset first seen in the A+. No sense in loading a budget device with > 1GB RAM.

They aren't gonna release a 1080p screen device in Nigeria just yet. Their phones only impress in the budget range and there's little value in putting in the more expensive screen.

There's little sense in anyone buying this A3 over the smaller phones already out there. 6 inches will be massive, and I doubt they are anywhere near as good as the likes of Samsung in slimming down bezels.

If you've already got a decent tecno phone, use your head and wait for a few months. The next gen Mediatek chipset will be rolling out around end of the year, and should show up in tecno phones by early next year. Likely they'll be shipping with Android 4.4.

Such a shame that nearly all the tecno news on nairaland starts with "tecno releases new phone Axxx". I'd love to see more news about software upgrades to Android 4.3, for example. I'm not sure why they don't just stick with Stock Android instead of their mediocre launcher.

If not then you'd understand why politicizing an allegedly criminal action by the minister generates an equally political reaction.
The article brings an important point to this debate: motive of her prosecutors and their agents.
Point to an obviously false statement? That's easy. See below

PointB: Frequent users of our airports would not forget in hurry that the associated cost of using the airports was higher than the fees paid for flights in those of darkness of these scavengers, and that the numerous charges cancelled by Stella Oduah, the Hon. Minister of Aviation’s illuminating efforts in the aviation sector brought a huge relief to them.
Sorry bro, but we were paying much less to fly. I can't remember handing over money to any airport 'scavengers' when I had a duly purchased flight ticket.
Now? FAAN charge is in place, ticket prices are much higher (thanks to higher tax regime on the operators). FAAN now charges me N2000 per day if I want to park my car at the PH International airport, up from N1000.

Can you please share your own experiences with these 'scavengers'?
