boy t:If you could read and comprehend simple English, the transcript of his speech someone helpfully posted should tell you his stand on the issues bedeviling Nigeria today. ZE:Nobody declared a state of Emergency in the Church when Pentecostal pastors were aiding and encouraging the killing and torture of children in Akwa Ibom all in the name of 'exorcism'. Na now you hypocrites wan start? Dolt! |
Acidosis:LMAO! Every single one of those apps is on the iPhone and they all look 100x better and perform 100x better than those ancient .sis and .sisx file you're proud of. I had that anti-mosquito app on my ancient Nokia 6600 way back in 2005. When you are ready to move to the 21st century, scrape up the money to buy an iPhone or a decent Android phone. I'm still laughing here, I cannot believe you're trying to brag here with Symbian. This ain't 2009 bro ![]() |

Go and tell them that their daddy was killed because some people were 'marginalized'. slimghost:Yeah, your Pastor Ayo that keeps insisting that religion be kept out of Governance yet he told his congregation that they MUST vote for GEJ. Your Pastor Ayo that told a massed congregation that Mr Uduaghan was 'God sent'. Abeg the sooner you grow up and stop licking the backside of these 'Men of God' the better for you. |
Anyhoo is american slang for anyway, picked it up from my wife and kids.
Wait, what? |
He was arguing on the phone with some cousin about a family event. my concern was not that he was on the phone to someone my concern was that he was driving like a crazy person. Anyhoo is american slang for anyway, picked it up from my wife and kids. I'm not pompous or arrogant, most people have drivers, gatemen, cooks, housegirl and they werent exactly the focal point so not sure why certain people are obsessed by them. Its not a big deal. Anyway whatevs (would you like a definition here too??) Don't want to hook anyone online oh just using as an avenue to rant and discuss with wise people, of which you are not one. So you can either piss off or try in vein to locate me and then fail and piss off.
To be fair, I wonder if your date considers the encounter a 'date from Hell' too? While I see valid points in your OP, your complaints about the restaurant he took you to may be a bit unfair. How exactly was he supposed to know that you hated that restaurant? And even if that was the cheapest in town, how sure are you that the low cost was the reason for his choice of that restaurant? Why are you supposed to care so much about how much he spends on you anyway? Next time you're unhappy with his driving, INTERVENE! Make him end the call and slow down. If your life was as important to you as you claim, you'd have made that effort. |
omicpet: omicpet:All you're posted here is a load of crap. Please go and re-read your sources (slowly this time!) or get someone to translate it for you to your native language so you can understand properly. I suggest you apologise to @mafia. |
Just a mild correction In the last 3 years, Crude Oil has sold at the average of $100 per Barrel. That is about $60 Billion in a year, for which the Nigerian Government gets about $ 40 Billion (about 60% of the proceeds). TActually, the Nigerian Government take should be more like 90%, not the 60% the writer assumes. Excellent article, by the way. |
kufreabasi:Out of curiosity, I ask my fellow Christians: What do we call it when someone say something deliberately false to change someone else's conviction. Wasn't that called LYING? So why is the CAN president lying about 'billions' spent in 'promoting Islamic banking'? |
Mr Oritsejafor stuns me every day with his increasingly ignorant statements. Why did the CAN council not seek better leadership? First he demands that CBN rolls out 'uniform guidelines'. yet in the next breath he acknowledges that the Islamic foundation of Islamic banking will not allow some specific types of transactions i.e loans for pig farming and opening a brothel. So why now insist on uniform guidelines? The CBN's role has been to draw up and publish guidelines under which Islamic banking institutions can operate. Why is Pastor Oritsejafor going round painting the picture that the CBN is spending a huge amount of state funds to establish Islamic banking? Ironic that the same man who was asking GEJ to arrest Buhari for 'inciting statements' is the one spouting these sort of controversial and divisive statements. |
Too much talk about praying for nigeria and too little talk about paying taxes, utility bills and obeying all laws of the land. This is why we struggle in this country! |
Abujabir24:You are a Boko haram member in spirit, you imbecilic toad. See you using words like 'infidel' to refer to Christians. Did your Quran not teach you about respect to Christians? Your words offend me. If you were in front of me, I would have throttled you for them. ![]() |
Alex Ndukwe did wonderfully well than any other. I praise people that are praise worthy, period. So far we've had so many incompetent presidents and none of them is able to fix our electricity problem, if an Hausa man becomes the president tomorrow and solve all our electricity problems i will praise him without being biased, People like you who think they know too much dont know nothing, You are quick to state phones are cheap in India without giving us reasons why phones are cheap over there? India manufactures phones and telecom equipments, the same cannot be said about Nigeria. Call rate in India is the cheapest in the world and we know the reasons, In India Bharti Airtel and the rest source all their equipments and labor locally. Most phones used in India are manufactured in India and that's an added advantage, In Nigeria MTN and the other networks use generators to power their base stations, all the equipments they use are imported mostly from Asia and this is one of the reasons call rate is high in Nigeria. Not trying to defend these greedy telecom companies, but let the truth be told,
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! So you still fall for that 'we use Generators so we charge higher' bullcrap line? Nonsense! The sheer volume of Nigerian customers easily offsets the added cost of running on generators. Plus, it doesn't cost any extra fuel in the generator to power up the 3G radios on the existing masts. Are you still gonna rely on the 'generators' excuse to explain why our 3G internet data plans are probably the biggest rip-off in Africa? For the last time, the NCC really has little or no impact on the price of phones in Nigeria. Giving the NCC credit for the cheap Nokia and china phones flooding the country is a bit brainless, don't you think? Under Mr ndukwe, the carriers got away with blue murder in terms of call rates, quality of service, reliability and internet bundles. As long as you blind yourself with tribal goggles, you will never see the true state of things. |
Browser69:Which is why he ruled for 42 years, handed over key state property and positions to his sons and used Libyan money to sponsor terrorism? If this is your definition of 'truly African leader', I pity you. |
Do the two events make her less powerful?. And who told you that Ngige had no rigging machinery?. Dora has been a pariah from day 1. So many grudges are still in stock for her because she was brave enough to call Aondokaa and his machinery out to declare Nigeria a state with no president. All the so so called PDP elders were there, some were in the meeting yet they kept quiet. Nigerians are their own greatest enemy, if they desire to rubbish Dora who speaks the truth and desires to set the record straight at all cost, then they have no hope.
How the hell can someone who you admit is a 'pariah' now become 'one of the most powerful women in Nigeria'? Abeg take time out to reflect before posting here. the Dora that was washing plate for Turai is now the one you people are touting as one of the most powerful women in Nigeria? LMAO! Dame Patience Jonathan wields more power in Nigeria than Dora can ever dream of. Ditto for people like Diezani Madueke. |
I have warned you to stop commenting on any post/thread that has something to do with the Igbos since you dont see anything good in that tribe. Just so you know Dora and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala are the most powerful women in Nigeria. The next minute now you will start telling us how millions of yoyoba people posses 70 degrees that they cant even defend, If your people are as important and as educated as you people make us to believe then they will be making Forbes list. Like I said, you are an empty fool that never see anything good in Nigeria yet you still reside in this country. Please pack your bags/baggages and move to your beloved country Ghana, and NIGERIA WILL NEVER MISS YOU
Dora Akunyili, one of the most powerful women in Nigeria? I'll have some of that prime weed you're smoking. Try and recall what happened when she tried to call a PDP elders meeting in Anambra. Also recall how she was defeated by Ngige even with all the rigging machinery deployed by the state in her support. |
Alex Ndukwe has done wonderfully well in the telecoms sector. Today the poorest Nigerian citizen can afford cell phones courtesy of an Igboman. If you put an incompetent fool there he will just mess up bc he is clueless.
People like you are part of the reason why Nigeria is so backward, with your effusive praise for even mediocre accomplishment. Even the poorest Indians can afford cheap cellphones. The cost of cellphones is not at all regulated by the NCC. Why did you not comment on the relatively high charges for making calls on these phone in Nigeria, compared to many other African countries? Mobile internet in Nigeria costs almost double the cost in several other African countries. Call quality is abysmal on very many occasions, with MTN, Glo and Airtel adding more subscribers than their infrastructure can handle with ease. nigerians complain about poor call quality, arbitrary carrier charges (and promo fraud) among many other examples of shoddy service. Abeg flee from sycophancy and ass kissing. |
linkin8k:I don't see how anyone can help you if you don't define 'heavy use'. For all we know, you could be talking about 4 hours of video with background downloading or using your phone as a mobile hotspot for 4 hours straight. |
silverstud:Can anyone tell me of any problem in Africa in recent times that the AU has put forward and executed a plausible solution? Ivory Coast? Fail Congo? Fail Darfur? Fail Libya? Fail And now, Somalia? Failing. |
LMAO! Even to a cretin, It should be fairly obvious that a stable, peaceful Nigeria is far more preferrable to the West than an unstable haven for Al Qaeda. These conspiracy theorists are a fairly doltish lot, I swear. |
efisher:http://lindaikeji..com/2011/08/how-6-people-died-after-eba-meal.html#more 6 people died earlier this month in Awka after eating Eba. Shall we now declare Eba killer too? |
Sometime a year or two ago, WHO sent a global notice warning against the consumption of chicken (due to avian flu). Nigerians ignored the warning and dug up chickens buried in pits to take home for cooking. How many people were killed from that?
That has nothing in common with this hoax message that is spreading around. |
naijacann:Correction in the past Administration, it was Akunyili well on her way to being one of the most inept and incompetent Information ministers we've ever had, wasting Taxpayers money on her brainless and imbecilic Rebranding campaign. NAFDAC was a long time ago. Also, please explain to us what exactly Mrs Diezani Madueke has done to impress you. |
lastpage:The 'capture' reports came from the rebels, not NATO. lastpage:Lol @ 'Lasted this long'. The only ground opposition Gadaffi faced was the largely uncoordinated, poorly armed rebels. Holding out against air operations is no big deal for a power drunk tyrant. If anything, Tripoli was captured too easily. lastpage:It would help if these African countries would live up to their responsibilities when they are called upon to do so. When the UN left Ivory Coast to the AU to take care of, what did they do apart from empty saber rattling? over 600 killed so far in clashes in South Sudan. What is the AU doing? Violence in Congo. What did Africans do? Famine in Somalia. What has the AU done? How much aid have African countries provided? As we speak, the US alone proivides 47% of food aid to starving somalians. There is no oil in Somalia. What are Africans doing? How much have YOU and your fellow 'Pan African' rabble rousers contributed? Where were African countries when China kept protecting Sudan from sanctions while the Government allowed the slaughter in Darfur? Where were you when the Chinese bought huge swathes of arable farmland in Sudan in exchange? Are we truly slaves? We deserve our fate. |

You would do well in life to remember that. |
So there are people here that actually believe these satellites were designed, built and launched in one year? Even if your President says something really brainless, are you mandated to put your brains out to pasture? Dolts! |
