Obviously you're not smart enough to properly comprehend written English. Steve Fosset's plane crashed in a heavily forested, mountainous region which was pretty difficult to access. The search for Steve Fosset took hundreds of searchers and loads of plane and helicopter overflights. CNN reports it was probably the biggest search and rescue operation in history in the US. The guy was flying a very small plane, so it was difficult to spot the wreckage. I've always taken umbrage at the 'See, we're not so bad afterall' attitude. I think it's reserved for people who are content with the rot in our society. We need to recognise the need for change in our country and stop trying to Justify our failings. PS: Just for the record, this was given a lot of airtime in the US media, right from when the plane crashed, till when he was declared legally dead, until the moment his plane was found. Stop relying on NTA news as your sole source of information. |
Lexyman on 08023321050 is who i buy most of my games from. He has Fifa 09, for those who are interested, |
doyin13:And who do banks lend money to? Who do banks give money to? Whose money do banks store? Ans: Everyone out there. Other companies in other sectors. It's a domino effect. One bank goes down, thousands of small businesses are threatened. Market declines sharply, stock portfolio drops like a rock. Shares of companies like Toyota and Nintendo are down in Japan. Not because these companies are threatened, but for fear that since this financial woes started, consumers will hold off buying new cars. As banks become unwilling or unable to hand out loans, sales of cars, plasma TVs and other luxury good will be threatened. It doesn't stop at the banks alone. You have to consider what the effect is on the financial market in it's entirety. Why do u think the US government could not let AIG fail? |
oldie:Your initial post was more about insinuating that the crisis is a hoax, despite the overwhelming evidence the contrary. Hopefully someone more well versed in financial matters explains this to you so you see the gravity of the situation. If no one else steps up, i'll try and dig up a good answer. it'll benefit me too. doyin13:No one is saying France will collapse, or the US will collapse. What is happening is that banks in the US, UK and many EU countries are going under. The Markets are taking big hits and many companies are going bust. Along with the demise of the banks, many depositors lose money, many shares portfolios and pension funds lose lots of value. Panic sets in and people are selling and divesting as quick as they can. That is where the crisis comes from. Jobs are being lost like wildfire. No one is talking about calling in loans made to countries. People are talking about the Global markets taking hit after hit, about people losing life savings, about reduced demand for goods and a spreading fear of the banking sector collapse. doyin13:Had i not been informed that you reserve this line for close family members, i might have been offended. |
Crysis has the best graphics of all. This game has little or no action scenes, so it can pull away horsepower that would have been dedicated to large scale vistas and use it to beef up the character models for the heroine. As has been said before, the GPU in the PS3 and the 360 are a generation behind what is available on the PC right now. |
This is poorly done. instead of making new posts with new plays, let the two players constantly modify their posts with the different plays. Each time someone plays, the other modifies his post too and posts his move. That way we are restricted to only two posts to monitor, instead of scrolling down the page. |
shotster50:. . .and you don't think a good starting point would be to read the last three pages of this topic? |
doyin13:Brilliant! In a few short words you have managed to defuse and decipher the global financial crisis, something hundreds of experienced analysts and economists have failed to resolve. Kindly proceed to Geneva to collect your Nobel Prize. |
knotty:of all the countries in the world to travel and expect freedom of expression, you think it's China? If you're in China and a foreigner, expect constant surveillance, especially if you're a high ranking official. |
oldie:Markets are going down, economies are crashing. Banks are going bankrupt, hundreds of thousands of jobs are being cut. Oil prices are crashing, heads of State are frantically calling meetings, Wall Street in turmoil. . .in short the whole financial world is going up in flames. And you think it's all a 'hoax' I think you aren't bright enough to think for yourself. |
Why are you people so malicious that you would allow an old man like myself to be rolling on the ground in laughter? Alas! I fear now that the troll has been fed, 'he-who-must-not-be-named' will appear, brandishing several high resolution maps in protest. |
hancock:heh. More like 8 GB for the images, i think. maybe more. |
Why will racism ever end when Blacks always keep bringing it up in everything they do? or see? redsun:When you waltz into a hotel room and demand for stuff with guns, it's a crime, and it's called robbery. If stuff is truly stolen from you, collect it back in a civil case. as for the prior acquittal, there was a whole lot of evidence linking him with the crime. He got away simply because he had an outstanding defense team, and the prosecution bungled things a bit. Of course it didnt hurt that most of the jurors were black! When you people start blathering about the media hounding a poor, innocent black man whose 'only crime was to marry a white girl', remember that this same 'poor innocent man' was fond of battering his wife until she divorced him. His activities after the crime didn't hurt either. |
Exactly how Armed robbers start off. Greedy, grasping fellow. |
inquisitiv:. . .that you're dumb? I'm afraid so. This topic is two years old. How the hell did you not pick that up? |
The fact that Obama is Black plays some part, no doubt. But more important;y, the whole world needs Change in the way America is run. McCain is too similar to bush for my liking. |
I'm tired of repeating this over and over. The US is scared because they know what havoc errant radioactive material can wreak in the hands of terrorists. It's difficult enough securing radioactive waste even in the US, not to talk of a country like Nigeria. We live in a country that is short-sighted, hence we can freely condemn other countries that try to think years ahead. |
@doyin13 Lots of people have been killed by the 'millitants'. In many cases innocent people with families and loved ones. It's easy for you to dismiss these casualties as unfortunate collateral damage, but try and put yourself in the shoes of the families of these innocent victims. Violence is hardly ever the answer. |
@ohelala Why are you going round resurrecting dead threads? |
Paying you guys a visit today! |
blackspade:The USA has NEVER insinuated that Iran has nuclear weapons. they've never tried to prove that either. They know the Iranians are still several years away from constructing a nuclear device, but they are convinced that the Iranian nuclear programme is geared towards making a bomb and they are trying to prevent this. For years US defense has worried over a more likely nuclear treat: dirty bombs. these are far easier to obtain than Nuclear weapons and can cause dangerous radioactive fallout. As such, they tend to keep a close eye on sources of radioactivity around the world. Nigeria has a history of mismanagement and misappropriation, so they are bound to view any Nuclear gist from Naija with some apprehension. The title is misleading in that it gives an impression of the US threatening Nigeria over plans to acquire nuclear weapons. Untrue auwal87:The US using Al Qaeda as a tool? C'mon man, that's lame logic at best. |
hancock:It's in the private/var/mobile/media/DCIM folder Specifically the 999Apple folder I assume you're on 2.x firmware? |
Yet another misleading title. There's nothing in the article to suggest that 'nuclear weapons' even came up. The two main facts were 1. The US expressing concern that Nigeria is flirting with a 'rogue nation' for Nuclear technology 2. Apprehension over the possible appropriation of radioactive materials from Nigeria's future reactors, especially given Nigeria's track record for corruption and mismanagement. As i said before, misleading title. |
akym:Don't get me wrong. I've read up the post, but most times you sound incoherent. As far as i can tell, this is a case of poor after sales support, not necessarily that they sell 'fake' phones. |
cruworld:For my sake, i hope to God you aren't a Nigerian. You aren't very bright, are you? |
tpia:It's called satire. It doesn't mean Jakumo isn't fond of Nigeria. Actually, i support jakumo for the role. He's clearly intelligent and has shown reluctance to engage in the tribal wars unlike many boneheads here and did someone actually nominate Gamine?! LOL!! |
I can barely make out what the original poster is saying. |
otikpoko:Pally. God of War is one of Sony's premium franchises. If you did not find any information about God of War 3 on Playstation.com, why bother with this meaningless post? Google is your friend. |
@BigB1 Depilot:I know it's painful for you to reason, but at least make an effort! What does the part in the quote above have to do with Africans or Nigerians? Big B1:John Hall is clearly referring to the negative side of foreign ownership of Premier League clubs. It's painfully obvious in the original article. Big B1:Sir John Hall was a former chairman of Newcastle United. That's why he chose to speak up in this case. In fact, it's very likely that the press sought him out for his comments simply because his former club is the one up for sale. Again, this is clearly spelt out in the article. It shouldn't take an Einstein to make the connection. I used to have a far higher opinion of your intelligence, man. If you really need to attack me, at least do it in an intelligent manner. |
