guy Plug your iPhone into any windows xp or vista computer and it will show up as a camera. Then u can download your photos. Also works on macs too. |
Boss Ttdiamonds:huh?! |
naijafan:The HTC TyTN was 650 euros when it came out. 650*175 = approx N114000 the 16K premium was manageable. There are fewer people alive who love a good deal than myself, but i really had to have that QWERTY at that time ![]() |
angelina08:But what about Nokia? I think Nokia phones are ok too . Or is Noika better than Nokia? What about NokLa? |
Is it the same OBJ that failed to find the killers of those 5 Igbo men & woman killed in Abuja by Police? Or the same OBJ that famously told bereaved families in Lagos to 'Shut Up'?! Useless post. |
The N85 is a FAR better deal than the N96. All the features (minus the practically useless DVB-H) for lower price, with a FAR better screen (OLED vs LCD) Also with better battery life and faster processor. |
dakmanzero:Darkie!!!! There will never be 100% emulation, at least not for a while, but you should be able to get acceptable framerates from a decent Core Duo processor (above 2 Ghz). The faster the processor the better. If i finally deciode to catch up on missing memories and play Final Fantasy 10, it's far better to have a playable version on my laptop that i can game on the move. It's kinda why i have Pro Evo SOccer installed on my laptop. All i need to do is carry the USB pads and i'm set to take the asswhupping on the road ![]() |
Muza:My HTC TyTN cost N130k in 2006 december when i bought it. And i'm not one of the 'thieving lot' as you put it. Inevitably the HTC got benched by the iPhone. |
yes it wont ve infrared but go this fast-paced world of ours, who should be talking about infrared? Anyway if u're looking for a COMPLETE phone check out n95. . . i think that phone has everything (infrared, flashlight, radio etc)
It's also two years old, built like a brick, lacks touch interface and has abysmal battery life. So yes, it's a superb phone but it isn't perfect. Every Nokia fan should be thinking about getting the N85 instead which is actually way better than the N96. |
Nokia has a new flagship phone. The N97 packs a 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 pixel (that's a 16:9 aspect ratio) touchscreen display with tactile feedback and QWERTY keyboard into this sliding communicator with an "always open" window to favorite internet or social networking sites. Nokia calls it the "world's most advanced mobile computer." To back up the claim they've dropped in HSDPA, WiFi, and Bluetooth radios, A-GPS, a 3.5-mm headjack, 32GB of onboard memory with microSD expansion (for up to 48GB total capacity), and a battery capable of up to 1.5 days of continuous audio playback or 4.5-hours video. 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss glass and "DVD quality" video capture at 30fps http://www.engadget.com/2008/12/02/nokia-unveils-flagship-n97-phone/ This should be nice! https://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/12/nokia-n97-side-by-side.jpg |
This is a rather retarded thread as someone said before. Terrorism cuts across borders, and lots of countries are constantly being targeted for terrorist attacks. The Mumbai attack took months in planning and was a concerted and co-ordinated attack, designed to strike fear and terror in the hearts of people. FOr many people in the world, they feel at risk from terrorist attacks. There's little chance that rampaging Hausas would kill people in New York, so why would they want to watch stories about killings in Nigeria? Especially when the killings are coming from a state that has had TWO religious riots in the past without any lessons being learnt. No rapid response squad formed, no sincere attempt to nip such riots in the bud. The irony of Nigerians. We insist that CNN et al only show bad news about Nigeria, yet now we're complaining that they are not showing enough bad news. |
QuotaSyste:If you had brains, you'd have seen that they were NYSC corps members who were posted to the North to serve their country. But you lack common sense. Congratulations, you've just won the retard of the month award. This award also comes with N500 cash prize which you can use to purchase 'Queen Primer' so you can learn how to read. |
Boss Ttdiamonds:It's a concept, meaning that technologies from this stuff may be used in future devices. However this will most certainly not be coming out in this form, and certainly will not be out anytime soon. Meanwhile, Nokia has been teasing a major product announcement today. Wonder what that'll be? |
pc guru:It uses 3G. Verizon's 3G coverage is pretty good, but that's no benefit to people outside the US. PLus with a full HTML browser like the iPhone's you can bet it'll use up loads of cash for browsing for people without a monthly data plan. |
Haba! This is merely a concept, not nearly an actual phone itself. A device like this is years away from being a reality. |
No WLAN = No buy ![]() |
sniperwolf:After you, my friend ![]() I do owe you an apology though. Numbskull and Numskull are both correct. Now i suggest we end this little squabble now. |
sniperwolf:Stick to talking about things you know. Minimum requirements for PES 6 is a NVIDIA GeForce 3 or ATI Radeon 8500 video card, all of which have at least 64MB VRAM. I doubt he's trying for a 2004 era PES game. Besides. Konami's PC ports of PES and WE games have always been memory hogs, so an 8MB card will not do. |
sniperwolf:I'm keeping the topic on track here, sissy boy .I hate to be a grammar Nazi, but at least you should be able to spell the word 'Find'. Notice i didn't call you a numbskull for that. |
The Nigerian armed forces are staffed with incompetent, cowardly dogs. Simple as that. |
@sniperwolf The topic says 'Dangerous', not 'difficult'. So YOU are well off-topic here. |
@toluxa So you bought that story hook, line and sinker? It's true what they say. A fool and his money will soon be parted. Palling around with criminals indeed. |
What problem are you having with your brains? Let's fix it! This is the 'Phones' section, dude. |
I need to marry Ciara. Darn, almost forgot the smiley. ![]() |
pc guru:The N95 has no dedicated gaming buttons, so it sucks for gaming compared to the N81, N96 and N85 which have a layout far more suited for gaming in landscape. As such, these later Ngage devices are the preferred gaming models as far as nokia is concerned and they have been advertised as such. problem is all these models lack a 3D GPU, so all games are software rendered. Going forward into 2009, very very few Ngage games will be GPU accelerated. If you must get a WinMo phone, you could try the Samsung Omnia or the Touch Pro (or even the Touch HD). As a WinMo veteran, i feel it's clunky and a dated OS that Microsoft needs to update ASAP. |
Only in Nigeria will doing the right thing be classified as 'taking law into his hands' Nigerians pray for good leaders all the time, yet when a leader that is actually doing some good comes around, they start whining. |
aderogbaa:My dear idiot, how will Fashola get money to build the 'fast moving train networks' when people refuse to pay tax? Too many Nigerians like you have the 'gimme! gimme!' mentality without reasoning that you need to contribute your own quota. As Kennedy said, "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". |
ScanLess:Yes, you lived in your house without NEPA for two months. But during those two months you went out on the roads (perhaps bad, but they are roads nonetheless) and you had water. How do these come about if you do not pay taxes? If you do not pay taxes then you are not entitled to anything. Simple as that. |
Nigerians love praise singers. You asked for opinions, he gave one. Just because it wasn't what you wanted to hear doesn't mean you must demonize him. haba!! |
renwest: kizito902:Is there nowhere on Nairaland safe from you self-righteous people?! Last i heard this was for 'Port Harcourt nairalanders', not for 'virtuous port Harcourt nairalanders'. Go to the religion section and get all self-righteous. Or Stay here and STFU. Freedom of Speech FTW. And no, i'm not condoning what he wants to do. But the first sign of maturity is when we realize that people are different, have different needs and desires. Simple as that. |

, what with those in power embezziling all the money paid by hard working citizens without giving them electricity, good roads, water supply, . . . infact someone should please tell me what they ever use the little one that is paid to do? , buy guns for their thugs to harras innocent citizens. Tell you the truth , paying tax in Nigeria doesnt make sense to me. i have stayed in my house without electricity for about 2months now and NEPA brought bills for us the other day , we refused to pay !!. Infact i'm thinking of how to boycott NEPA cpmpletely.
