Most of the time, they come between one and half years or two years.
Only cases that have defied science like AIDS and Cancer would you attribute such longevity. This is embarrassing! One and half or two years for vaccines? Lol. Abeg try to do some research before jumping in with these ignorant takes. |

OfficialAwol: I'm conscripted into agreeing with Trump on this.
Barely one week after the election, Pfizer announced a vaccine with over 90% potency.
Moderna too has announced theirs with a claim that it has 94% potency.
There's a third company who have announced that theirs is 96% effective.
Is it by mere coincidence that they these announcements are coming days after the election?
I think it's well planned conspiracy against Trump. It’s common sense, why would they announce news like that ahead of the elections, and be accused of interference? Trump has been president for 4 years. Why couldn’t he run on his own achievements? Would a Pfizer or Moderna announcement weeks ago have brought back the 250000 dead Americans? |

- The people employed there lose jobs and thus can no longer take care of themselves and their families - The taxes paid by such companies and also taxes paid by such workers disappears with all utility bills they pay - This further dents the IGR and in effect Nigerian economy! - We use our hard earned forex to import, in essence boosting other country's economy at our own expense Prior to GEJ's harebrained and illogical move to dramatically increase import duties for new and used cars, PAN et AL were in operation in Nigeria. Innoson too. None of these companies have dramatically expanded since the crazy hikes were implemented. On the other hand, consumers have been increasingly forced into buying ancient, dead, fuel guzzling clunkers or completely foregoing buying newer vehicles altogether. A move back to the 2012 status quo shouldn't change the picture for local assembly. It's not like they've had a dramatic boost in business since then. |

PhiliptheArab: 2.As a Christian myself, I find this distrubing. It seems that many of us Christians are siding with Rahama in this matter of her dress. The message we are sending to the world is that Christians...and most of the people calling out Rahama's accusers as hypocrites are Christians....tolerate indeccent dressing. No. This is why some of you need to put some deeper thought into these things before posting ignorant takes online. The actress wore a backless dress, with NO sensitive portion of her body exposed. A backless dress! That isn't 'indecent' in any way. Would you accuse a man who was shirtless on the beach of being 'indecent'? The message that is being sent to the world is that Southern Christians recognize that salvation is personal, and that one man's puritanism must not be imposed on others. PhiliptheArab: Consideriing that in many churches..if a woman turned up in a dress like Rahama's at any church in Nigeria, she would be asked to leave. No less a distingusihed person than one of our famous authors was prevennted from recieving mass at her local Catholic church because she wore a dress that showed her shoulders. There's a difference between a dress being inappropriate for certain settings and that dress being completely immoral. You can wear a one piece bikini to the beach and it's normal. Can you wear that to Church? I bet you've worn shorts and slippers to the beach before, and gone shirtless. Does it make you a spawn of satan for wearing that, since you'd be escorted out of church if you wore that to church? PhiliptheArab: 3.A woman was denied serivce at a resturant because of her gender. Many of Rahama's defenders called her a prostitute and a liar....and still maintain that beleif even though she has been proven to have told the truth.Apparently it is all right to be a misogynist, until we have to knock the Hausas.....then we become defenders of womanhood. I hate how you people pull these stats from your arse. YOU haven't cross-checked the list of those who doubted the restaurant claims with those who defended Rahama. How then do you know that the same people who defended Rahama's right to wear a nice gown were the same ones who supported the misogynistic stereotyping of an innocent lady? PhiliptheArab: The problem is, most of us who are shouting abuses at Rahama's abusers are just as bad as they are.wE Southerners are just as biogted and as bad and as hypocritical as sthe Northerners who abused and called Rahama names . And it is a shame that both Northerners and Southerners cannot see the specks in our eyes. Yes, there's bigotry and hypocrisy everywhere in Nigeria. But let's focus on THIS issue at hand. A woman is being heckled for 'immorality' and 'indecency' for merely wearing a backless dress in a photoshoot with NO erogenous zones exposed. You have also shown up here to call her names. You're the one who should be ashamed. |
