I pray not for Fayose and his travail but for the system of Justice in this country. An out of court settlement is not blackmail, it is a legal process. She cannot be convicted of blackmail. Michael Jackson did it when he was accused of assaulting a little boy, he paid off the parents of the boy and everything was swept under the carpet. In cases of out of court settlements, the accused's lawyers are even the ones there kick start the process to save their client's time, resources, embarrassment and the rigours of prolonged court cases.
