All these back and forth arguments isn't the issue. The major problem in this country is bribery, corruption and selfish interest. We all know how much was spent on the refineries and electricity in the past 20yrs and nothing to show for it. The government subsidized fuel and electricity to help the masses yet many ogas at the top pad their expenses to increase the subsidies gotten from the government. Pipeline vandalism is still very rampant in the South-south.

The foreign exchange is affecting all the sectors negatively. It's a big issue and we still hear of BDC operators getting dollar below the official rate.

Lastly, insecurity. Food inflation should never get to this extent. Herdsmen, Bandits and Boko haram are terrorizing the country causing fear of farmers going to farm and destroying their properties. Discos lost millions in the North because of this, they lost a lot of properties to Boko and their goons.

In my own opinion, removing subsidies right now isn't the best option. To reduce importation of food, let's deal with the insecurity and invest in farming. If food is cheaper, we can think of lifting the subsidies.

Hello house, pls your advise is needed urgently. An agent is processing my admission for February 2022 in UNSW. The agent rejected my CV because I have been unemployed since November. They are insisting I update it to the present day even if it means falsifying it. I wouldn't want to lie and I will start looking for documents to back the false information.

Must my CV show I am currently employed?? If I falsify my employment details, will I need extra documents to back it up? If I insist my rejected CV be used like that, will I lose my admission?

yea nurses can apply in private hospitals just as anatomist can also apply in private owned mortuaries. Now let me burst your bubble do you know that most private hospitals prefer to employ apprentice or diploma nurses than bse nurses just to cut cost.

I know but there's no way a hospital will employ only auxiliary nurses. There is a law that says a registered nurse/matron must be around to supervise the auxiliary nurses. Even abroad, with a diploma in nursing, you can get a job that's why everyone keep saying nursing is lucrative course. Likewise doctors, a doctor will still get employed in Nigeria though the pay may be small.

I don't know much about mortuaries but when my grandma died, I realized that the two mortuaries we contacted didn't have a licenced mortician. The guys working there learnt the rudiments while working with their oga who also learnt from another oga. Pls enlighten me sir, do one need a mortician's licence to open a mortuary?

My point in summary is that, if you are opportune or among the few to succeed in a field with less opportunities, you shouldn't use it as a benchmark for every graduate in that field.

He doesn't know he got lucky. Federal and state hospitals employ nurses yearly unlike anatomy and physiology. Universities hardly employ them for lecturing jobs so what's the point.

Even biochemistry and microbiology. They have good prospects but it's not easy getting a job in that field because of saturation.

To your question, I think it's normal. I experience very frequent movements(which is baby's movement) and occasional heaviness in my lower pelvic. So, no need to panic.

Hello mummies in the house, my body is itching me badly. I am 24 weeks pregnant. In the first trimester, my breast was the only part itching, now, it's my breast, chest, neck and face that is itching badly. The itching is accompanied with pimples/rashes(I dunno what it is). On my last ANC visit, I complained about it and I was prescribed loratidine and it's not working for the itching. Pls what can I do because I have small injuries on my chest and neck from the itching

I went for ANC today and there was this preggy mama really gisting us and I was enjoying her discussion. Suddenly, Naso she face me ooo saying my belle should be in the first trimester. I looked at my sweet bump and looked at hers, and smiled. I later heard her telling another mama beside me that she is 6months. Naso I start to dey laugh o and she had to ask me how many months, of which I said 5months+. This funny woman was just shouting that it's a lie. I'm happy for my small bump because it complements my stature . The most important thing is doctor confirms baby is doing well.

Hi mamas . My wife is 5+ months and she likes sleeping on her back , most times I tell her to sleep on her sides but she complains that she gets tired sleeping sideways and gets aches.
Is it advisable she continues facing up while sleeping?

This is so me. Sleeping on my side is tiring and I'm 5months gone. Hubby used to do night vigil every night to change my sleeping position. I later understood that the reason why sleeping on my side gets painful is because of the mattress (it was too soft). Last week Monday, hubby got a new one and sleeping on my back is now uncomfortable. In fact, the aches from sleeping on my side stopped since then. Also get good pillows.
