I think what your fellow Nigerians on this thread are trying to say is that this isn't what need to be fixed. Going to the US should be a low priority for the giant of Africa for the National Assembly to intervene. There are more important issues that need to be addressed in Nigeria than getting a US visa.

Adding to that issuing a visa is a privilege and not a right. Meaning the US may even decide not to grant a visa to any Nigerian and they don't have to answer anyone given they are a sovereign nation just like Nigeria is a sovereign nation

I made $3572 before taxes in the last 2 weeks. After tax, i was paid $2809. Out of this i saved about $2400. The rest of the savings came from an extra job i did sometime ago and a debt i was owed by a friend. The reason why i am this elaborate with these figures is to disuade that notion that because of taxes or bills, one can not make a decent income and still save, and it encourages my to push on . I am also supporting my wife and we both decided she enrol in school full time for her masters degree. So she doesn't work for now. but she will start a part time job soon at my place of work . If you are willing to work hard, you can succeed. I will be moving to a house closer to my work place in the next few weeks, just a 12 minutes drive. This means i will start getting a full 7 hours sleep, which is nice.

Your wife should apply for OSAP ( Ontario Student Assistance Program) and choose the grant part of it so that she won't have to pay it back.

Please I need help here. I have a white woman whom I met online that wants me to come work for her, she said I should get clearance( visiting visa) from US embassy on my own but she will pay for my flight . I asked her for an invitation but she is been skeptical about it cus she does not know me that well. She told me that she made an enquiry n was told that if she should process it for me that she has to vouch for me and that she does not know me that well to vouch for me, that I might come there and run away. Now my questions are:

1) How do I go about the process on my own with a virgin passport?
2) If I eventually get an invitation from her does it guarantee my visa since it is coming from a white ?
3) Is it true that she needs to vouch for me?

The lady wants you to go work for her, then you shouldn't be on this thread. Sounds like you need a work visa but this thread is about visit visa.

Furthermore, she wants to employ you but doesn't want to sponsor your work visa. I would be very careful with such a person. You may find yourself been held against your will and force to have intimacy with people. Many American ladies have found themselves victims of human trafficking right in the United States.

You should always be very careful whenever someone you don't know is asking you to travel to a different country to work for them. Especially when they are ready to pay for your travel but they avoid to have anything to do with your visa.

Lastly, invitation isn't a requirement for a visit visa.
She doesn't need to vouch for you.

No one cares about her race. It is funny how you think that an invitation from a white person is a guarantee to get a visa. How is the embassy going to know the race of the person who is inviting you? Is the person going to specify his race on the invitation? A person can be white but homeless and poor. How is that going to guarantee a visa?
