Oh wow! You didn't tell us you had a Grade 'A' FIFA coaching license. I'm guessing you're the one who will decide for Gernot Rohr what formation to play since you're the teams official trainer.

And again, it's still shocking that your level of comprehension is this poor. Did I suggest using Ogu in a back 3 or did I point out what the coach did in a match we all saw (maybe you didn't). There's a difference between reporting what happened and making a suggestion. Comprendé?

It might be better if you stick to the auto and religious section where you might actually know what you are saying. "I need not discuss football with your likes". Please, who are you, Pep Guardiola? Go take a back seat with your overbloated ego son.

P.S: For someone whose profile is filled with religious comments, you shouldn't be the one throwing first insults at people who give their own opinion on social media. Not exactly a good calling card for your religiosity.

I'm done. *drops mic*
The bolded part kills me with laughing grin

@Deflover,

Interesting story.

What matters is that you're now doing something good with your life.

Most likely something big awaits you in 9ja there, keep looking for it.

As for friends in UK, the daily struggle is not easy. Many bills to pay.

I guess you know visting is quite different from making a living in UK. It takes a lot of effort.

People generally become more individualistic in the West, it's just the way it is.

However, genuine friends will still keep in touch. And genuine friends, you know, are few and far between.

When most people have nothing to benefit from you any more (at least if they think so), your friendship is hardly desirable.

Sad but true.
So sad

and boldly written were the words CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE ..... angry angry angry angry

till date i am yet to come to terms with what that means.....i tried to apply again twice that same month making it the third time in janaury and finally the entry officer EO told me in a letter that i am sounding desperate becos truly i was.....all my friends left me here and are gone till date

i cant even chat them up anymore becos once you are outta of the UK people forget about you with time.... grin grin grin grin

i know how you feel......for me since 2008 i am still here and trying to be on my feet....i had it good but things with the global melt down and my low account made me know i must be busy here for the main time...

As for you, keep sinking into your low self esteem with respect to the West.

are you for real. Where did low self esteem came into the picture. African teams are more physical we play more physical and aggressive football. That's the truth while the whites on the other hand are all about techniques and soft play.. How does saying things as they are translate to low self esteem?
It tranlates into self esteem when I see people promoting Nigerians Swiss division 3 goalkeeper whom I am sure can't be better than a lot of the keepers in your local league

Congo play original African football which can be VERY hard on the legs. And they might be fuming at missing out on the WC, and may wish to claim one Nigerian leg for their troubles. England are a soft touch in comparison.
Your post is just a reflection of how many, not all, Nigerians perceive Africa with respect to the West. Low self esteem is the word, simple

Do you realise Nigeria beat Argentina and Poland recently?

You are very naive if you think that this game was anything other than a runabout/training session for the Super Eagles. You expect them to be motivated to play Congo in a Port Harcourt friendly, a few weeks to the World Cup?

Why risk injury against a hard-playing team like Congo on your way to the World Cup? Would YOU stress yourself if you were a member of that team, today? I wouldn't..

Wait till we play England at Wembley next week. You will see football.
And what difference does it make between playing against England and Congo.
Is it because Congo is an African country and shouldn't be taken seriously?

My guy, permit me to ask which kind of work are you doing that affords you so much time to comment so often? Another question is must someone be bilingual to teach in Canada especially when one has no interest whatsoever in speaking or learning French?

Need an apartment in Lagos? Contact me
You don't have to speak French to teach in Canada.
However, been a bilingual or speaking French outside of Quebec is an asset that is in demand and will set you above the crowd.
There is a huge demand for teachers in French schools in Ontario. I believe the starting salary is 65K and after 3 years it goes up to 100K. They are always hiring.

Please keep in mind that if you only speaks English and that you aren't getting a teaching job, you may always registered with a school board as a substitute teacher. The school board has jurisdiction over many schools. When one of the teachers in a given school had called in sick for the day, the school board will call a substitute teacher to fill in for the day.

As for your first question, I am a Network analyst.

Hello all, pls how easy is it to become a teacher in Canada. Has anybody qualified for this here? I have 11 years banking experience. Bsc English language, masters in media arts. But i want to switch career. My colleague here in naija said Canadian govt can never allow an immigration become a teacher to their children.
I doubt this.

If it's possible, what are the processes? How long will it take and what can it cost. Thanks a lot for your anticipated comments
Completely untrue.

Yes you can work as a teacher in Canada.
As a matter of fact, if you were bilingual ( English and French), I was strongly going to suggest you to come to Ontario. There is a shortage of bilingual teachers in the province.

With any degree from any where in the world, you will have to go for a cerificate before they give you the job.
London, Ontario, is a mostly white city. But there is an increasing numbers of African teachers in the city.

If you can't speak French, you can still get a teaching job. I know of a court case involving a Nigerian who graduated in Nigeria and was a teacher in Toronto. The dude was fired because he was trying to get romantically involved with a 16 years old student which goes against the ethics. After he got fired, he sued the school board in the Ontario Human Right Tribunal on the ground of discrimination and racism. He believed if he were white they weren't going to fire him but instead would have given him a warning. Smh ... He lost the case.
As any court case, this case has since become a public record which includes the messages he exchanged with the girl. So, be very careful with the things you do in the dark given that one day they may be broadcasted to the entire world.

Baba you need to understand something. Swiss Division 3 is a developed league that can produce formidable teams that will even beat the best in our top flight league. Organization and technical advancement is the keyword here and we lack it. We are still playing medieval football in Africa and that's why West bred footballers will always have an edge over their homegrown colleagues. Are you not privy of what Ludogorets Ragzard said about our NPFL highest goal scorer not being up to standard? Football has gone digital bro so stop beclouding your sense of judgement with sentiments of patronizing our own first. Do we even have a recognized Division 3? our top flight is still practicing home must win talk more of those ones that no one is monitoring. Google his name and his bio will be up. Google any local league player and see for yourself how far behind we still are. This isn't neocolonialism or inferiority complex, it's me saying the truth.
I am Congolese and I can't agree to have any of our top players in the Swiss Division 3 league. I always believe that Nigeria has very good local players. Vincent Enyeama is a product of the Nigerian lical league. So it will be harsh to say that nothing good would come from your local league.

Nigerians have a serious self esteem issue with respect to the west. Aren't there players in your local league you may promote?
From the time I have spent on Nairaland, I have come to the conclusion that a lot of Nigerians would reject anything that bears the logo of Africa. One needs to learn the alphabet in Europe for many Nigerians to believe the person knows the alphabet.
How sad!
