It has to come to this before Nigerians pay any seriousness to this issue, most Nigerians are now getting a visit, conference, study (just any kind of visa to land them into the USA) and try to get to the Canadian border to cross into Canada and claim Asylum, the numbers grew so much that the Canadian government had to raise an official petition to the US government to tackle the problem at the source - Which is what the US embassy in Nigeria is doing. The report is that some Nigerians (10 of them) were already granted visas and were ready to travel, but were stopped at the MMA before they board their flights and told to see the consulate at the US embassy, where there visas were subsequently cancelled because they were travelling towards New York, which is the closest city to cross to canadian border on arrival - this arouse the suspicion of the US officers. Guys am I the only one having serious concerns regarding this DR Congo friendly match? Aside from this ebola thing, African teams tend to take it overboard against other African teams. And when you have a team going to the World Cup and the other team isn't, the other team would try to demonstrate that they are better than you

I am actually glad that both VicMo and Ndidi are going to miss this match. I hope that Obi Mikel and Joel Obi won't play either.

Speaking of the bolded part, this is a nigerian perception. I dont think the average Canadian thinks the same way. And most hiring managers are average Canadians who don't give a damn about the reputation of schools in the UK. That reminds me of a guy who went to Sorbonne University in Paris ( a French version of Harvard university). After his degree he went to look for job in the States and was surprised at the number of people who never heard of La Sorbonne that would send a chill down the spine of anyone in the Francophone world.

I wouldn't advise you to leave Canada to go study in the UK given that as a new immigrant you should invest much of your time building your life in Canada.
If you go to school in Canada you will certainly meet people and got involve into programs that will benefit and strengthen your ties to Canada. Whereas, if you go to school in the UK and then return to Canada, you will likely start again from square one upon your return to Canada. Kind of a waste of time to me.

But then again what about the nannies. Many ladies are getting permanent resident status by working as nannies. There are agencies bringing nannies from the Philippines. You can also sponsor a nanny from your home country.
Would you say there is a difference between a nanny and a barber?

Nigerian never won the Chan. DR Congo won the CHAN 2 times.
The TP Mazembe of DR Congo has been African champion 8 or 9 times. No team in Nigeria has been African Champion that many times. Enyimba has been African Champion 2 times.

And you are here talking about DR Congo not having half the pedigree Nigeria has in international football.
