raumdeuter: What is the spread he needs? 25% in 24 states. Northern Nigeria has 19 states
Atikus strategy is to squeeze every drop of Northern votes since he wont be getting anything from the south. Basically the Buhari 2003 and 2011 numbers. If Obi is able to cannibalize enough APC votes in the South then force a runoff vs APC where a simple majority will be needed
Tinubus strategy is to clear as many states with the help of the governors. Any state he is not winning, he is using the influence of the governor to finish a close 2nd. So he wins his strong zones by landslide every other state in the federation come a close 2nd. APC wont have a problem with spread. Its to win the majority at first ballot
Obi - Kwankwanso
I think Obi gets less votes than 2023, he won 11 states last time I think he wont make 11 states this time around because Tinubu is the president not Buhari. There is a possibility that this ticket even lose the Kano state that Kwankwanso is known to own. Because Kwankwanso is not the presidential candidate, there is another Northerner Atiku contesting plus the governor is APC working for Tinubu
Whose calculation will work remains to be seen The last drops of Northern votes he could not squeeze in 2023 na 2027 wey e dey obvious say e no get path to victory na im people wan squeeze vote give am.... Lol |

raumdeuter: Atiku will try to squeeze the last drop of Northern votes and wait for Tinubu and Obi to split the south
That is going to be his strategy He'd still need spread. What's Atiku's path to spread? Atiku squeezing last drop of Northern votes without Obi's momentum to coast down South would still leave him without victory. His best bet is to work for Tinubu and get some form of concession for his boys contesting for other positions. |

raumdeuter: What will Makinde gain by porting to NDC? Is it presidency or VP
Same thing with ADC
Makindes cards are very limited. What is he bringing to the table to deserve a deal with APC. His window of deal making is closing. He should have moved to APC immediately after 2023 when its obvious that PDP has collapsed APC priortizes the game of perception a lot, a Makinde porting even at this point wins APC some perception points. The only reason Makinde might not port is because of how much it'd affect the way he's perceived...he already lost major Aura points with the 5G thing. I do see him working with APC on the low sha. |

MorataFC: This is one of the lies we keep telling ourselves. The idea that power will automatically return to one region simply because another region don rule for 2 terms or 8 years, it is just a wishful thinking. Unless everyone of us put real pressure on the government to implement key recommendations of the 2014 CONFAB report, especially on restructuring, true federalism, and equitable power rotation, nothing go change.
We’ve seen this cycle before, zoning agreements are written into party manifestos and then discarded whenever they no longer suit their political interests. Without any institutional backing on power rotation, it remains empty promises. Buhari ruled for 8 years, and Atiku still have the effrontery to contest in 2023, so if Atiku had won that election, do you think say he no go complete his 2 terms? and that does mean another northerner will not want to contest come 2031 ooo. This “born to rule” mentality in the North has to stop. We need restructuring, but if we keep believing say na our region turn automatically after another region don rule finish, without any legal backing, we just dey deceive ourselves. It was a pleasure watching Atiku run 2023 and he has shown he wants to run 2027. There'd be no turn of the North come 2027. This turn-by-turn presidency that's neither representative nor progressive needs to die a natural death. |

MorataFC: Those are already-made, high-net-worth families. They didn’t start life like that. Many of them built their wealth first, succeeded in business or career, and then outsourced domestic tasks like bulk cooking. By the time they reached that level, their marriages had already survived the early years when money was tighter.
But the man was speaking to young men preparing to start a family, especially those one operating on Nigeria's salary wages structures, so using these elite households as your reference point is misleading. How many Nigerians man can start his life with that examples? The ratio of families who can comfortably afford consistent, quality quarterly catering like what you posted here versus those who cannot is probably 1:10,000 or even lower in Nigeria today.( These are the ones the man is talking to) When you are just starting out, with rent, bills, school fees (when children arrive), and the general cost of living, constant outsourcing is not sustainable. You cannot build the foundation of your marriage on a lifestyle that only becomes feasible after you have “made it.” That is his advuce.
The crucial point people miss in this Pasror Adeboye’s advice is, He wasn’t speaking to the Billionaires who live in Ikoyi or Banana Island. He was speaking to the millions of young men in the congregation who are still trying to build something real from the ground up,( which are made of 90-95% of men who want to marry) . True. If I had stupid money before marriage or was marrying say a DJ Cuppy, na private chef we go hire, and my wife being able to cook will rank real low on what I consider important. For the average Joe looking to get married, a wife that can cook and manage affairs in the kitchen ought to rank pretty high on things to consider. |

izzou: Sorry I cannot quote everyone who mentioned me.
My point is that Cooking can not and should not be a primary reason to choose a wife.
It's a skill that can be learnt.
So if I find a woman that loves me, is resourceful, loyal and willing to be with me forever, but cannot cook, make I leave am abi?
Cooking is a skill that can be learnt. If a woman cannot cook, but fits your profile, why not see how to make it work?
The ones wey dey divorce up and down, na cooking be the complain?
His advice is rubbish, and well it is his opinion. The thing about a woman not knowing how to cook is often less about her not knowing how to cook, but more about whatever else it signals about her as a person/ her upbringing. |

Or for example what exactly is strange about saying God already knows who will win between PSG and Bayern? Saying God knows who'd win between PSG and Bayern is different from saying the winner between Bayern and PSG will be decided by God...the latter contradicts the doctrine of freewill. |

MorataFC: The man has said no matter what he says, some people will always find a reason to criticize him. According to him, if he tells people to stand up, it will be criticized, if he tells them to sit down, that too will be criticized. He added that he is not bothered by this, noting that even Christ faced heavy criticism while on earth.
Maybe what they expect him to say is, God does not know who will win 2027 election, and Men should marry a lady who cant cook. Saying God knows who will win the elections and the winner of the elections will be decided by God are two different things. |

afrodoc: There is a limit to water tweaking. Bread needs a level of moisture for the production process to end up making bread that precludes severe water elimination.
2 months is unnatural for bread to stay good for without freezing.
It is either the woman was exaggerating/lying for clicks or there are potentially toxic levels of preservatives used in the process. Yea, two months is long sha and I also think the woman was exxagerating. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 3:25pm On Apr 19 |
afrodoc2: Dayo gave a correct STEM answer. The major reason is that the moisture contents are very different. Biscuits have very little water while bread is basically flour and water.
The packaging is also different. Biscuits tend to be packaged in more airtight containers compared to bread. Yea, but the average consumer isn't thinking STEM-based reasons why bread should spoil faster than other flour-based products, and bakers can tweak packing and moisture-content so their bread lasts longer than average while still being as healthy as other breads that spoilt fast. I feel the main thing here is perception sha, people expect bread to degrade in taste and look within some particular period, but like other flour-based products, bread can be made to last much longer than average. Personally I expect my bread to maintain fresh taste for up to 2 weeks when refigerated, and it's something I consider when making purchase, meanwhile bread like Bokku within 24 hours it's already tasting very bad. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 3:09pm On Apr 19 |
raumdeuter: If you leave biscuit out for a time if gets bad. Though longer than bread because of what I suspect to be the moisture content in bread higher than in biscuit The bread the woman was complaining about wasn't opened, at least until she opened it to make her video. Biscuits or those cakes dem dey sell 2-in-1 for #500, people don't complain when they last several months when sealed yet difference between bread and biscuits or cake fit no dey like that. The process used to make those ones last that long can be applied to bread, only that people want their bread spoiling fast cause of the belief it implies less preservatives. |
