Do you think that in a free and fair election, with above 50% turn out of eligible voters, that Tinubu will win 20% of the votes?

If your answer is yes, then I'll stop
He won't win, but you must agree that he has supporters, and they're enough to create the nuisance value they create.

There's nothing you'd say that would ever make Dayo have mercy on you, know this and know peace.

If he was in Nigeria, and in your shoes...or worse breaking palm kernel with garri in a dimly lit room this very night (because of APCs misgovernance) he'd still swear by the mandate of Amoda Ogunlere.

I've come to realize that however much APC abroadians might seem wicked, they truly aren't wicked and if they were in Nigeria, they would support these wicked policies just as much as they do from abroad.

Despite the suffering that APC has meted out on Nigerians, there are millions of Nigerians that swear by that party, and would thumbprint for them no matter what.

The things that the rest of us see as needless suffering, the slightly delusional cornvicts see as punishment for the days we lived fake life, while the truly delusional ones believe it's necessary for us to suffer now because some day in the future this suffering will lead to enjoyment grin grin grin

It's just unfortunate that there's no way to split the country along voting decisions so those that have chosen APC(666) would face the consequences of their decisions solely and squarely.

A crush on a distant and unavailable person? You know how many women dey crush on idris Elba? Or even peak Obama or Bill Clinton or trudeau?

Those making noise about this are people who really are limited to where they visit on the net.

Go to reddit. There is a subreddit ladyboners. And there is oldschoolcool where guys reminisce on their first celeb crushes.

Teasing people about their celeb crushes should be good natured fun. Not gotcha bitterness and bile
I'd be surprised if the entire episode is anything more than something to laugh over for AG and Simi.

I don't even know or understand why flint is defending Simi. undecided
Because I know these are jokes directed at artistes and celebs she's a fan of, plus her spouse is comfortable with the situation, and seems a fan of JCole too, so it's roasting.

Maybe she shouldn't have carried on married, but some couples try to continue exactly as friendly as they were prior to getting married. And I've not seen anything that indicates that she's not devoted to her partner, well other than the jokes grin

In today's hyper woke world, I know we'd like to pretend that grapey jokes from men to women, and from women to men are the same, but I still don't think so. Context makes jokes and the fact that men are on average super capable of carrying theirs out makes it carry a different weight.

That said, just like Ezra, Simi is a victim of a gender war culture she's been a part of, so I understand people not showing her grace.

the unfortunate fact is that a large number of women HAVE been sexually assaulted. and it is usually by someone they know.

if we are honest with ourselves, there has always been a very very casual attitude towards rape in these parts

there are multiple incidents that i remember from my years in school where there was clearly sexual assault

one time in ife or UI apparently it was the culture that a girl who turned down too many guys would be 'wazzed' to 'teach her a lesson'

you have guys daring a girl to drink, telling her she cant handle beer like them - she takes up the challenge, gets black out drunk and then they take turns sleeping with her. then they go around telling everyone she is a sl-t

i have spoken more than once about a medical student who we all knew as a prolific serial grapist back then. very well spoken, very handsome, very smooth predator. he did not want sex - he wanted the power of forcing himself on a terrified victim. so yes, he would ask girls on dates, they would go to his place with him, and then rather than a jointly consummated affair, he would force himself on them, and then bully and threaten them

one victim basically developed mental issues and had to be taken to a psychiatrist. that was when the whole story came out and he was arrested. the guy got away with it and everyone in his circle believed it was a setup

like most deviants, he could not stop and he got weirder and weirder. he started doing gang grapes with a friend whee they would get the girl to his place , take turns, take pictures, shave the victims public hair. they did this to a girl whose friends dad was a police commissioner. that was how they got busted and arrested and the whole thing blew open. [this time everyone new what was up]. But the guy is a practicing doctor today. this is the side we don't talk about or acknowledge and may be why some women have the same approach to this that the black jury had to the OJ trial. yes we know oj is guilty, but black people have been fked over in court so many times we will let him get away with it

there was a girl i knew in school who grew up in unilag . her dad was DSA at one time. NOTHING can make this girl come to your room. Likely because as a child growing up in unilag, she had seen and heard it all. once you were in the guys room/place, it is no longer he forced himself on me, but, what were you looking for here?

one time these boys in the room next to mine actually tried to set up the gf of one of them. she came to see the guy, and while she was waiting, they jumped on her. the only saving grace is she was a very razz babe who immediately started shouting the house down until guys in the hostel intervened.

consequence free Sexual assault is a very real thing and we should not pretend that it does not exist.
Very well said, or is it the craziness that happens at university parties/bonfires where a girl would be doing what could be termed open air romance in the course of dancing, going one guy after another, then all of a sudden because some guys can't wait their turn or feel like the girl has been monopolized proceed to mob assault her Indian men style, and the result is either a fight between the girl and the guys (if she's strong enough), or she succumbs and she leaves the place in tears.

Back then, being "decent" was not being a part of the mob and in our minds we'd feel like the girl was making a mountain of what had happened to her, afterall "nothing had changed", and the anger you feel towards the guys is they messed what was a good thing up for everyone. But with maturity you know it's two very different things, and her consent and control over what was happening was just as important as what was happening.

Or is it the entitlement guys feel to sex from a girl once they hear she's easy game, to the extent where they'd pick offence if she rebuffs their advances? We see symptoms of this play out in our markets where men assume they can assault a woman because she's skimpily dressed.

On the flip side, there's also a culture around sex that makes women believe they must play silly resistance games that's akin to a fight with the guy so they don't look "cheap", and if you take cue and not push when she puts up that resistance they say you didn't want them enough, or not a real G or whatever.

These conversations are pretty nuanced, and the feminists and red pillers who are essentially two sides of the same coin pick very extreme positions that prevents people from coming to the truth of male-female relationship dynamics. Nothing gets reesolved, and the actual bad eggs in the male-female camps hide under the confusion to continue doing awful stuff.

Nobody gives a tuppence about any of these people. For the Twitter trolls, if they can push an agenda, get a hearty laugh, with engagements and go viral, sounbaorded by blogs to Facebook and Instagram and even news websites, which makes them more popular, they would ruin your life for it.

Your pain is no more than a topic for engagement, from Mohbad to Simi.

I don't believe Simi doesn't love Adekunle Gold. She's just a fan of J Cole. I believe she's crazy in love with AG and she didn't just settle for him.

I had my own phase of 'simping' for Kelly Rowland as the most gorgeous woman in the world, and Lana Del Rey. I was following either on social media but I loved them.

Only thing is, I never posted or fantasized about banging Kelly or coercing her to have a baby by me even with voodoo hynotism, or claiming if I meet her in person, I would slip by my wife to go bang Kelly Rowland.

Now that's borderline obsession and 'rapéy' – the very thing she campaigns against today.

John Legend's wife is a pariah because of old tweets about her fantasizing about råping kids and môlesting men. Carbi B use to tweet about drûgging and rôbbing men.

Unfortunately, women don't face the same consequences men face so...
It's a bit weird, and a way women show they're simping for celebs, but it's common enough to be overlooked, and yea, it'd be looked at differently if a guy made such tweets cause they're often physically capable of carrying such acts out.

Do not reward a combative overly- temperamental woman with commitment; and certainly not a ring. She'll bring you reproach.

There are hundreds and thousands of such narratives of her old tweets going viral now, and knowing X folks, they'd run her out of X and ruin her reputation.

For the first time in years, Simi united Tech Twitter, Crypto Twitter, Tribalismo Gang, BATists, Obidients, Patriarchy FC...everyone. Not even EndSARS united them this closely.
The reproach in question being dragging from jobless 18/19 year old red piller randos on the Internet?

Husband and wife are artistes, wife is a super fan of JCole, husband links with JCole and facilitates a FaceTime with his wife's favorite artiste and you guys believe this is what you'd use to drive a wedge in their marriage or make AG feel less of himself grin

I'd be surprised if this dragging is anything more than comic relief to them.

I swear by everything sacred what I type here about this issue is the same I have posted with my full names and information on Facebook over the years. At least a certain Uyai on Nairaland you might all know has seen my posts on pages and groups and interacted with them by calling me "Disstroy".

I swear by the divine that she has (my lady) also seen me post these things...even before we became a couple.

I've seen people being ruined, man, by vindictive women.

You understand how crazy it is that a girl in years past is sex-chatting with you but you'd rather switch to WhatsApp call?

Always ask yourself when chatting with a woman, "How would this be interpreted if a group of 300 random women are reading it?"

All my life, no woman has posted a screenshot of my chat with her publicly. None that I know. I also have never been accused. Mostly because I choose them carefully. But if that day comes (and hoping it never comes), destroy has his armoury stocked only to defend himself.
This is the case for at least 99% of men, 99% of whom aren't as paranoid as you've become.

And note that this isn't me telling you to stop being cautious or paranoid, after all a man that sleeps with a cutlass by his side every night has to be proven right but once.

I only think of the stress and wonder if you show this level of paranoia to every aspect of your life, afterall people have tales of betrayal come their way from men and women alike, and yea it doesn't pertain to rape cases alone.

Simple! That's what I have been preaching for years and truly understanding the nature of emotional beings.

For example, during e-fights here, the most logical ones control how far they go; the most emotional ones here are always the first to dox with information outside of Nairaland. Now imagine what it'd be like with a being running on a full self-replenishing tank of oestrogen coursing through her. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

I do not preach all that red pill nonsense of treating women like trash or campaigning against marriage or saying a girl who isn't a virgin is automatically a whôre. None of that.

All I preach during gender debates:

1. How men should protect themselves from false accusations and extortions, and;
2. Demanding 100% loyalty from women before giving commitment to them.

Nothing more.
