Haba!

How can anybody look at picture one and conclude it is one and same with picture 2?

If that CEO no come forward to claim it was her bread, most people won't assume it was hers.

Do you know the possible number of bread brands that has orange branded logo on the bottom and side in the whole of naija?
Those that patronize the bread will def know sha.

See
But the CEO reached out to the woman in private for clarity and she ignored/blocked. If it gets to court the tiktoker will be forced to provide the bread makers she was referring to in her videos plus I think the bread brand showed in the video.
This whole thing of suing customers for reviews made on products is a very slippery slope sha. I mean what if the bread in question happens to have been a bad batch/anomaly?

The Bon Bread CEO isn't entitled to an audience from the woman that posted the review. Nigerian business owners should be doing better FR.

The CEO is not wise at all.

There's Yale bread produced by summal foods which lasts between 1 to 6 months. In fact, Summal foods markets it as a stale-resistant bread.

From where I stand, I believe this CEO just threw away the chance of making her own bread a viable competitor for Yale bread. If she had consulted PR experts instead of lawyers (who would most likely lose the frivolous suit), I believe she would be packing serious orders by now
There's many ways to have spinned the thing without it getting to the point she sued the woman, the moment she did that the customer completely became the victim.

Other than breads marketed as being stale resistant, another thing to consider is a bread looking fresh after two months doesn't mean it hasn't become stale to taste. The woman's video was entirely on how supple the bread looked after two months, nothing on how it tastes.

If it's about perception, she could've allowed PR experts help her manage the situation.

A PR person would've advised her to manage the situation differently. For example she could make a video showing the process they use in making the bread, the ingredients which they use (which of course are safe and in line with bread ingredients approved by NAFDAC), and by so doing give her business more visibility.

She messed up big time.... Her brand won't remain the same after listening to lawyers who just want to make money off the case for as long as it lasts. The person she's suing will have enough human rights lawyers to defend her and they will prove the lady didn't defame her brand
Exactly, lawyers will 9 out of 10 times encourage clients to sue cause that's guaranteed money, na she suppose use sense know what's appropriate.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 10:20am On Apr 18
[quote author=BlueRayDick post=139134718]During the week a lady made a video about a bread she bought that lasted for 2 months and didn't go bad implying whatever preservatives used in it's production may be harmful to the health of consumers.

The lady didn't mention the name of the bread, and didn't show the logo/label of the bread in the video she made.

However, the owner of BON bread assumed she was referring to her bread and tried make her recant the video or make apology video for defaming her brand.

The CEO on the advise of her lawyers have now slammed the woman with a lawsuit despite the fact that her brand was never mentioned o. She claimed because the lady liked a comment on her original video that suggested she was referring to BON bread, then indeed her brand was the target of her video.

Personally I think she has hungry lawyers who want to milk her of whatever money she's been making from her business. I mean how are they going to present their case in court on mere assumption and not facts? If this was Erisco foods vs Chioma case one would say BON bread has a good case, but this one just be like say the CEO Wan use her own hand give her brand bad publicity.

cc: Izzou, GloriousGbola, afrodoc, Raumdeuter, Theflint1

did think the woman mentioning keeping bread for 2 whole months was a bit off. I mean why are you keeping bread for 2 months for while claiming to refresh bread stock every couple days.

Nigerian CEOs need dey find ways to handle this sort of crisis without resorting to suing customers.

by the time dangote and naija employers and indians are done, oil and gas may not pay that well anymore

if his sole focus on stem is so my kids will get a high paying job he needs to think again
He wasn't coming from the angle of fees, more the angle of prestige/quality, which is still a faulty argument, considering there are tons of universities across the world that'd best OAU and Unilag while not being Ivy standard.

You are missing the point here. I'm not saying you haven't seen CEOs stealing pens or moving funds by virtue of the position they occupy .

The question is : what are the odds that a major number of employees in a sugar refinery will be eating their organization's raw materials (sugar cane) to the extent that it caught management's attention and they had to put a memo out on it threatening to prosecute them.

A couple of weeks ago my spouse bought two long sugar cane for N500. That is how cheap it is o. It just looks somehow that the employees will decide to go full unprofessional to steal something as cheap as that if we are to assume they are being well paid.

I said I may be wrong o; I am guessing the employees doing that probably think if they cannot get the full compensation package they deserve, then maybe they can eat as many sugar cane as they can in protest to management.

So sorry for your loss, Sir

One thing I made peace with this year is the aspect of death and losing someone.

I am going to die someday, so how best can I make use of my time here?

I spend more time with my family and friends. I take a break from the chaos in my life and rest. I eat what I like, and go to places I want to. I am trying to be nicer to people, because you don't know if you'll see them again.

No let am hurt you so much. It's just a phase of life that we would come and go.
I had a friend lose a younger brother, someone I knew from afar, budding young doctor with the rest of his life ahead of him, and just like that he was gone. My friend couldn't even squeeze a two-minute conversation in before the boy's life slipped away.

Two days ago, I heard one guy that used to help with dispatch lost his life in a motor bike accident. Soft spoken lad, always smiling getting his brain scraped off the floor. I still can't believe he's gone, especially in that manner, all the hustling, and that's how it ended.

Nothing at all is promised, especially in this wonderful country called Nigeria. One can be here today, and tomorrow no more.

God rest all the souls that have had to die because of the incompetence of APC and Nigerian policians in general.

So many persons that didn't need to die lose their lives daily because of politicians that just want to stack money they'd never get to spend.

People don't want for much, a simple organized country where rules count for something, that's enough to prevent needless deaths.

No this is not true, Most men have a high sense of justice and responsibility. If a man is caught to grape, it will most likely be other men championing the punishment
Statement wasn't directed at the general male population, it was at red pillers and those in that space.

And a high sense of justice and responsibility ascribed to most men is an exxageration, more so in this part of the world. And the main reason you'd find men championing the punishment of a man is because they're often the ones that can administer said punishment. Women in female-only spaces police and punish each other, meaning it isn't something exclusive to men.

The difference is, all the men Feminåzis tagged misogynists are on Facebook and X condemning the Ozoro boys.
That's how accountability works. We are not defending nonsense.

The feminåzis will rather hide when exposed or double down defending an erring woman like they made defences for Mirabel.

Did you see men deflect with hypotheses that the Ozoro boys are depressed, high on drûgs, and need rehabilitation?

We took our L like champs and didn't gaslight the victims.
Lol, the main reason they're condemning it is it'd be an L in the battle of sexes, and Feminazi's will have further justification to say all men are rap1sts.

That said, condemnation regardless of motive is better than no condemnation. And instead of crying over some hypothetical false r@pe accusation that'd happen in the town of Ozoro this month, put that energy into truly condemning casual sexual violence, even if just 1/10th as much as you scream about false rape accusations.

Yea, and these sort of traditions that restrict fundamental human rights, whether of movement or association should be done away with.

If they're not being used by politicians to further retrogressive politics like the Oro Festival was used in 2023, they're being taken advantage of to commit actual crimes like with the Ozoro festival.

Festivals should be generally inclusive, and not whatever nonsense most of our communities do.

The Ozoro boys have undone all the gains men made in February just yesterday.

Since then all the misandrists masquerading as femiñists have been back online campaigning, including accounts which were exposed for fãlse ràpe accusation.

Now how does an innocent boy from that part of Delta defend himself if he gets called out by a ràndom girl for ràping her? How do you defend yourself when the false accuser two years from now says it happened on a certain date in March 2026 by her coursemate?
Leave hypothetical rape scenarios and address the vileness of what happened in Ozoro, or not grin

But isn't it funny that just last month the issue of how casual sexual violence against women was, with groping getting specific mention, and barely a month later we have this Ozoro incident?
