Remember Wike and Obi are very good friends. Peter was one the few people that came and brought his NEXT Supermarket chain when many were shunning Wike at the onset of his administration. Wike nominated Peter for the VP position for Atiku at the last election without consulting the then PDP governors from the South East. So my friend, politics aside , Wike is more at home with Peter than any of these fair weather friends visiting him now.
The last important point is the strength of Igboid Community ( Indigenes and non-indigenes) in Rivers. Aside the Ijaw group, they are the most formidable. Ogoni is still trying to find which group to align with since the present political dispensation and they will get there once they sort themselves out. Nigeria politics have not evolved beyond tribal and religion. It was a bit better during Abiola’s period.. Moreover BAT can never be an Abiola in million years. Are you telling me PHALGA, OBALGA, Eche and Oyibo will leave Peter and vote for BAT ? I do not think so.

Things are now so easy, I've never voted in Nigeria before, but today I broke that yoke and registered my pvc on-line. And also changed my poling unit online to a ward very close to my house. As an Igbo man, for the first time I feel there is a reason to vote. I've sent this to over 30 of friends and they have all registered.

I went for my PVC registration, no single youth at the inec centre I went to. The 2023 is till going to be like the previous ones. Not up to 10% of youth below 30 years have PVC. They are busy doing yahooism, ritualism, oloshoism etc. The ones not doing the aforementioned are busy on the internet posting pictures and videos on internet. The problem we have in the country are the youth. Do not be surprised that these adults you saw in this post know the country more than most youth.
