obailala: Someone would soon blow the pipes again to increase the hunger in the land and to perpetuate the darkness and stagnation/retrogression the nation suffers from. And we would of course have some brothers cheering the destruction because they believe the actors are actually helping them fight/punish their enemies.
Of course the fight is a fight against Buhari and northerners; the hunger, the darkness, the uselessness of the Naira, the job losses, the bad/deteriorating roads, the increasing national debts and the general devastation of the nation's economy is only felt by Buhari and northerners. If you think that the cause of the recession is the bombing of oil installation, then I assure you, you are a certified, incurable and hopeless ... You know what the last word is... fill in the gap... |

Newbeginnings: UNDERSTANDING YOU
Good day, how are you all,
sure you might be at work, or at your own office (entrepreneurs) or at wherever you choose to be, but wherever you are we have to talk about something we all need to understand and clear out..
We are talking about you and your purpose...
Some of us have already set standards for ourselves, that this is who we are, what we can do and what we can't do, how we choose to behave and represent ourselves, although sometimes we can fail miserably and act differently due to overwhelming situations we claim are out of our control, when we are just weak inwardly in real truth.
The real deal is that many of us are just acting naturally... (passives)
Which is one of the reason why we will want to solve only our own problems first and still say I give to the poor when I have....
Which is why we believe we have to do things only for ourselves first, before we can get to a higher point.. when we can just sit and solve a problem for someone and get serious cash for it..
Which is why we believe that if we believe in something we can make it.
Reacting naturally to things is not bad, but if you check out the great people of today, they didn't just react naturally, they went further, dug deeper, they did research...
Whenever they react to something, they try to understand why they reacted and this understanding creates who they are, rather than those who just say that is just me and that is how I behave
Why do you sleep at 12:00 in the night and wake by 4:00am when as an adult you are supposed to be having 6 hours of sleep at least.. you might say that is just who you are, that you are a light sleeper... Think deeper, why don't you sleep six hours and get a clearer head, why don't I sleep six hours so that I can think better and eat better..
This week, you are planning to go to work, or by Gods grace let something big come your way... you say.
Think deeper...
Why don't you sit down and create something big.... then allow God to make it bigger....
You might be thinking of how you will feed today, and you are just hungry you can't even think of others (children in somalia) feeling so hungry... You as an adult can bear that hunger, sit down and draft an idea to make you never hungry again and also this idea can feed half of Africa ... Think deeper
It is not about solving the problems we see right now... It is about solving the ones that cause the problems..
Right now you might be praying to God that if you get a 500,000 job in shell that you will serve him forever that you will be able to feed and cloth... Why don't you pray to God to give you a billion dollar idea .. so that you will be able to give other people job so that they will be able to feed, so that they will be able to live... Just because you existed...
You say you have a big idea, a passion for this or that and then you want to send it into the market...
Wait!
Because you love the idea, because you have passion for it, doesn't mean it will sell, doesn't mean I will like it, because I am different from you, in order words you have to make the product to make sense to me for me to buy it.
It is not because it makes so much sense to you. I mean you think it can't fail that is why It will sell.. Nope... It must solve one of my problems and a less laborious rate than the ones I have or you are a dreamer..
Think deeper...
All this we can do if we stop being us... and we start thinking deeper, starting reacting to things because we know them and how they work and not because I said so or because that is how you felt or because that is your mood.... if we stop thinking about ourselves alone and about everyone...
It is just like business
You want to be rich right.... you don't want to suffer, so rather than thinking of solving your own problems alone ....you can do this, create a product which over 1 billion people in Africa will have to subscribe to for $10 a month, that is $10 billion in one month...
This way you just made yourself rich by solving others problems... in other words you solved millions of peoples problems and they gave you their money as a thank you..
Is that not better than sitting in an office for shell...
Is that not better than running a boutique or hair saloon when we have over 10 shops in every 20 minutes walk...
Think deeper...
Stop looking a problem or question and giving your immediate opinion....
Look at a problem, and ask yourself, how did this problem come about... what is the problem based on... What are the 100 solutions I have
Look at the question, and ask yourself, how is the person who is asking this question feel, what led her here, negligence, what is she trying to solve
Thinking deeper not only makes you more intelligent... But it makes you worth more than gold...
You are not just flesh and blood, who eats, drinks, sleeps... you are a bulk of intelligence, who eats, drinks, sleeps... So use it
Stay Healthy, Stay Wise
Remember to follow me so that I may share more... and I will always follow you back...
I will be sharing another article in a jippy.

DeltaOil: My wahala be say!
President Buhari is borrowing money on the whole country to develop the north.
Meanwhile the whole country is owing.
And they that get so much money, do not contribute anything to Nigeria. After an unintelligent fool maybe in the south west screams one Nigeria! After the civil war, tell me if there were funds allocated for the rebuilding of destroyed markets and house and churches and so on... all they did was promulgate decrees that would cripple the igbo man further... But still we rose! Like the Phoenix! Small BH destroyed a few things (yes it's few when compared to loses the east suffered after the war) and all they can think of is rebuilding the NE... I pity people who do not know the true history of Nigeria...they even went as far as removing history from secondary school curricula... And don't tell me the east declared war cos it was Gowon who reneged on the aburi accord...and with the pogrom going on in the north, what were Igbo supposed to do? Fold hands and be slaughtered like fowls? "There can never be peace without justice and equity" PS: If you're not an ardent follower of Nigerian history. Before, during and after the civil war, then don't quote me to yarn dust... |

There is something called human "right"....fani kayode NEVER DODGED ANY COURT SESSION....its unwarranted and highly animalistic to deny him his medication because of one paltry sum of money....
That's why Nigeria is backwards....little emphasis placed on the life of its people.... If people get hounded and die in detention, what good does it serve
The lower and middle class blame the ruling class for woes, but from your write up its obviously true that the lower class have low mentality....and are easily incited over "ghost" accusations while its almost 2 years the dormant govt got in there.... My bro, when I see some foolish comments, I lose hope in the youths. This government has succeeded in turning Nigerians against themselves all in the name of fighting corruption. The level of PHD (Pull Him Down) syndrome being displayed is alarming to say the least. In Nigeria now everyone is a thief and is corrupt. To be honest, I don't see this entity called Nigeria achieving greatness, not with the kind of foolish and unthinking citizens we have in the majority. |

patriotic9jaboy: What is the essence of Eze ndigbo in Malaysia if not the continuous dominating attitude the SE is known for. They operate like the shiite group who will never succumb to the local authorities of their communities but rather form their own government within another government. This is why an Eze was flogged in ondo and Oba of lagos threatened them with lagoon all because of the same attitude. Who knows if the community king in Malaysia invoked the spirits of their ancestors to terminate the existence of the so called Eze ndigbo. Even though i love and have nothing against the igbos, i think they should learn to respect their host Nonsense post... Why not ask questions as to why igbos crown kings in other states and countries? The kings are ceremonial in any case, if you didn't know. There's a strong reason for it and small minds like you wouldn't get it... What's your problem with people being dominant? In life it's either you're dominant or dormant, and dormancy is way worse than dominance. And to be sure, igbos all over the world give maximum respect to their hosts...but remember that respect is reciprocal. What they don't do is being docile and servile all cos you're their host... why should they be servile when they know they also add value to your country and pay taxes? Or you think they are given free handouts wherever they are? Anyways, I'm sure your thoroughly biased opinion doesn't count for shiit in the scheme of things... PS: Fools who know nothing about igbo culture (of which giving respect to whom respect is due is a strong part of) should just pretend to have brains and pass over this thread. |

It amount to self deceit to compare the decripit brown roof slums we dwell in South West with serren and neet structures in southeast. Now if I a non Yoruba says this I'm tagged a tribalist. Nice that you can say it as you see it. I almost laughed my heart out the other day when my Yoruba friends were castigating Yoruba girls. and oh! Two wrongs does make a right, that's why two countries ends up fighting each other, that's why soldiers going into wars with other soldiers, in the end the dispute either get settled or more wars, fighting and killing goes on. Chill bro, I feel you... This particular issue has played out in the US, and it didn't go down well for the civilians involved in the sniping of police officers. This is a different issue altogether, different than wars over borders amongst others. You need to have a bit of military experience to fully understand why most officers of the law usually look down on 'bloody' civilians, not that this makes a tad more right. In one sentence: power intoxicates. Please, I don't think we want a 'Syria' on our hands bro. |
