Senseless bunch of oafs.

Ask them for evidence to back up DSS claims they day they don't need it, that the ones on newspapers are enough.

Ask for Amaechi and Tinubu to be hunted by EFCC & DSS, they say bring irrefutable evidence.

I swear those guys are worse than scum of the earth.

Modath I thought had been delivered has sliden back to her usual BS.

Sad that humans with supposedly functional brains can't think rationally and logically with it.

So moving to other parts of the world is now a sin? Or a crime? Or is there anything wrong with it in particular? Or you're just thinking and behaving like many yoruba peeps I know, that abhor even the thought of having to move outside their comfort zone in order to chase a dream?

Anyways, I don't think you know what life is about dude... You just sit one place in the corner of your room to spill trash.

Common sense and basic reasoning eludes them, so it's no suprise really...

What do u expect from a relegated Politician?

Yoruba as a race has never and would never be in political slavery.

Tinubu is only after his personal gains.

It's just crazy d way this politicians genralize and ride on ppl's emotions as if d govs of all d SW states are from d north.
I don't even wanna talk abt who are in charge of d two most powerful ministries.

This man should go and start a farm or something.

I can see lots of my brothers from d east saying all sorts on this thread, but come 2019 whether u all like it or not,u would vote for a Northerner.
Young man first, ministers are chosen from all 36 states of Nigeria so I dunno what you mean by powerful or whatnot.

Second, that a northerner would probably rule this shithole for a long time is a direct consequence of some foolish and unthinking yorubas action just as Okoronmu has averred.

Third, since an igbo man cannot lead this entity because the political structure is skewed to favour the north, then he has no option but to vote a northerner.

Last election was just about that, I tell you boldly that many igbos wanted a change from Jonathan but if buhari was the one, then we would never have anything to do with such an element.

Give me a nuhu ribadu or tambuwal or even Atiku and I'll be fine, not some vengeful, hate filled and ignorant dolt like you CinC.

Capische?

Very silly thing to do. Going all the way to BBC to expose her husband's unclothedness to the whole world! If she is that wifely, she should have said those things to her husband and be respectfully accepted! No wise woman does this... She has allowed power and fame to get into her head.
Dont you think she must have tried that and it didn't work?

Unconfirmed rumors have it that the president suffers from Alzheimer's disease though so he may not be understanding things anymore...

Many of us who voted for him share her view.

Some dogmatic zombies think one has to be a proverbial fly that follows a dead body to the grave.

The fact that we voted for PMB in 2015 and are yet to see a change says a lot.

But what we must also agree on is that there is no better politician today. I may have no choice but PMB regardless, cos the rest of today's politicians are a waste of space...so corrupt and so dishonest.

Until we the youths come together to identify those amongst some us that can do it, and mentor such persons for leadership.
Peter Obi comes to mind.

But you'll likely raise objections because he is igbo. That man is a thoroughly competent man who we should all back irrespective of tribe.

Another man that comes to mind is the current governor of Ogun state Ibikunle Amosun. That man be doing wonders in that state.

Enough said.

If the DSS can't do a thorough investigation and get evidence to back their allegations then they have no case!!!

It is audible to the deaf and obvious to the blind that the judiciary in the country has gotten extremely rotten...just like every other sector. But he danger here is that the judiciary is the final arbiter, they wield so much influence...we can't survive and grow with such a judicial system.
Thats why if a rich man assaults you, you can not take him to court, because you know you will lose. If a politician beats up your wife, you can not sue him knowing he would emerge victorious. So, where's the last hope of the common man! When will we start the transformation that we have always talked about?
If the NJC had been up and doing when they should, this issue would not have degenerated to this level.
The mode might have been a tad unconventional but it's longterm benefits outweighs the disadvantages
Look, you're missing the point.

Now if I come on the pages of the newspaper and scream that you're corrupt and I found 500 million in your house, does it make it true?

You would want me to provide evidence, and prove beyond reasonable doubt that the evidence is also proceeds of corruption, right? That is how the rule of law works.

NJC clearly stated that the DSS had no evidence of corruption against Justice Pindiga so what the hell do you want them to do?

The law works with evidence and proof beyond doubt and not merely hearsay or we would be running a banana republic.

Gosh! How hard is it for you to understand this?

You call them ragtags but they have the capability of keeping this guerilla warfare going for decades you know...

It's equally as difficult to completely annihilate them cos it's a movement for an ideology... There are so many of them ready and willing to replace Shekau at any point in time...

Very smart move actually..

Book haram doesn't have the strenght or power to attack Nigeria like 2-3years ago.. How long before those released get picked up again or killed..
What if the released members are the IED makers? Just two days ago we heard of a bomb blast on maiduguri.

Or do you think BH are not smart themselves? You think they wouldn't have weighed all options, looked at all angles before seeking a swap?

Anyways, we'll have to wait for details of the said swap.
PoliticsRe: Presidency's Statement On The Release Of 21 Chibok Girls by TheRealestGuy(m): 1:43pm On Oct 13, 2016
Swapping terrorists for the girls at this critical time doesn't make much sense, especially as just a very small percentage of the girls were released.

Not a very smart move by FG as the released terrorists may cause more havoc sooner rather than later.

But what do I know, a northern fool once said that Boko Haram are our misguided brothers...

If tommorow Buhari is campaigning for election against Tinubu, I will vote for Buhari because Buhari is a sincere man and Tinubu is a crook and while not all will, I have no doubt many Yorubas will vote with Buhari. Tinubu is not as popular with Yorubas as some people think he is.

on the issue of good leaders, personally I would like to see Peter Obi as president or VP. He is no Zik or Awo but he is probably the closest I've seen to a politician who gets the problem with our country and you can tell is a simple sincere man.
I tell you, imagine what a Peter Obi/Donald Duke President and VP combination would do to this country!

I'd rather wait for the official statement and account of events people already said the protesters had guns I'm sure army will come up with another video to vindicate their action
You actually believe that Shiites went on a procession with guns? Bro, haba now embarassed

This government seems to think that any dissenting voices must be crushed with brute force and this is unacceptable in a democracy.

We should not cheer these guys when they violate international and local laws all in a bid to satisfy the man at the helm of affairs.

If you still think that Buhari's hand, willingly or inadvertently, isn't in all these then we need not have any further discourse please.

Either word of mouth or signed into law , governor being the number one citizen in the state had spoken what remains is to make it a law . No one has the right to violate his orders.
We are in a democracy where rule of law and the constitution is supreme.

Word of mouth never suffices to outlaw any group and this is why El Rufai ensured the speedy passage of the bill into law in Kaduna state. Hence, whatever the police or army do, they will be backed by the law.
