Yes, so I heard. I've been to Ilesa close to three times and my visitation there was wonderful. First time I was there, some guy invited me over to check out this club , . . . I thought it was such a good club and oh when I got there I was so irritated -- but I still had much fun. The second time, I was on my way to Akure to pick up a girlfriend from school but on my way I lifted a girl and she decided to show me to her house and all of that, so I ended up staying the 2 days. Ilesa is a nice place I guess, next largest to Ile-Ife. |
Well, since everyone is crossing the line from what the poster already said I will state mine as below: My first and favorite female poster on here will definitely be handed to sistawoman. Sistawoman, A good wife. American. Understanding. A good listener. A good analyst. Has the one of the best questioning ability. Undoubtedly intelligent. Matured. Has high curiosity. Peaceful. Opinionated. Never spiteful. I've never seen her pick up quarrel with anyone. Never insults. Always on point. My second favorite, of course is Bluespice. Young, about 99 years. She's opinionated. Funny. Blunt. Doesn't like talking trash. Hates insult. Takes no nonsense. She's understanding. Quiet. Likes reading. Hates to be flattered. Isn't scared of men. Intuitive. Beautiful and sexy. Loves to have fun. Need I say more? FL Gators comes third. She's controllably. Argumentative but has a good sense of direction. Defensively gifted. Always surprised. Funny. I think lives in Florida(Imma have to ask her that). She's intelligent. Classy. Somewhat feminist(will find out more on that one). |
whitelexi:I fall behind you on that one. She's matured and intelligent. |
desgiezd:NANS is a practical joke right about now as it's been transformed from student-welfarism body to a money-hunting machinating group. They are the worst disgrace. NANS are irrelevant. |
Add more ladies. I really don't know what to say about those except Oyinda. Oyinda She's reserved, gets her clear cut point sometimes. Her self determination is one thing she overrates. Probably Nigeria based: I don't know though She either is religious -- or pretending to be one --- just my observation Prognosis : If she's what she sounds like, she might make a good wife though, but you never know with women |
@A-town You said no one has talked intelligently here, well I asked you a whole lot of questions and I expected you as someone with oozing intelligence -- as you claim which you can't prove -- to answer those questions. If you had done that, we would have been talking the solutions and you'll see that Nigeria government is creating more problems when they haven't resolved the ones already in existence. So I say to you, come out of your shell now and answer these questions |
Oh I see. How have you been finding Ilesa? |
At least you are now addressing the issue and not throwing insults over the place. The notion that you have to go to school is what i am addressing here. You don't have to go to college to be successful. Yes, it would increase your chance but it is not a guarantee. If the option of going to college becomes tough, trust me Nigerians will find alternatives. Most students spend an average of 5yrs in school. If you know you can't make it to school and start something, you'd have gained something by the time those they went to school graduate. I am not saying this will definitely work, i have only stated that it is an acceptable idea. @Theseker I would have responded to you since you've started addressing the topic but i won't because you can't refrain from cursing. Your abuse won't do anything. What we need is solutions, arguments for and against. Kapeesh
OK, I will tune down the insults. So you're saying with increment in tuition fees, there'll be an overhaul in the educational sector? How many technical schools do you know of? What policy has ever been started by an administration in Nigeria and carried forward into another administration? What good has the Nigerian Government successfully done for the poor masses? Is Nigerian education worth paying that much for? How much has the government allocated to education in the past 10 years? What do they intend to do with the rest students who won't be able to afford going to the university? How do you envisage that this will work? If they successfully put out a huge number of students out of school, how soon will their rescue plan for them --- if any will be in place --- work out? Do you have an idea how school dropouts are seen in Nigeria? Do you know what they do with themselves when they drop out? Please answer this questions and no, I won't insult you again. |
philip0906:Most dad still can't pay the current fee. Makes me wonder though, how much will state-owned university charge? 400,000? This country will end up breeding criminals. I'd advise if this happens and successfully implemented, people should study in Cote D'ivorie, Ghana, Egypt and anywhere else if they can't afford US and Europe. |
kok:Point of correction! That was Akon not Kelly. He(Kelly) peed on a girl and there was a video to support that claim against him(He's still my favorite R&B). If your comment above was meant for me, then I'd say no, I live in the US but even when it gets to court and charge him for abuse, won't they hear from him? How is he supposed to know she's 13? Is it written on her face? The main person to give a testimony if it's in the US will be the girl, not her sister and if she had lied to him that she's 18, it'll be on her. The guy will get a fair hearing. Got it? |
asha 2:Which infrastructures? Do you know what society ill this may have brought about before the said policy works, if ever? Nigeria has been practicing democracy for 10 years, what do we have to show for it? Who told you there will ever be infrastructures in Nigeria? Until we start showing rejection for these stupid policies Nigeria will continue to suffer. I study in the US and hell yes, people get loan to go to college. Where will you have that in Nigeria? If it becomes available, who gets it? Do you know that in Osun State they gave Local Government councillors' wives 1 million Naira each as loan? Tell me what they want to use that loan for?
Do you have a reading deficiency of some sort? An increase in fee will deter people who have no business whatsover in college. I have only stated that loans can be given out to those who feel they have to go to school but don't have the "brain" to get a scholarship. What does PDP have to do with this?
The effect of the increase in fee is far greater than the proposed effectiveness they are anticipating(which has never been the government's priority). More people who are supposed to be in school will not get educated. Let me solve it arithmetically for your deficient mind. Considering this in percent, about 69 percent deserve to be in school, 90 percent want to be in school hence, the 11 percent increase in people who deserve to be there and the rest 10 percent are in school because they were forced to. 20 of 90 percent of the students who really want to study can afford 180K. What happens to the rest 70 percent? Not to mention other expenses like food(which I learnt is getting more expensive everyday), transportation and clothing. There's no way they can support their parents --- I don't know of any part time job in Nigeria -- so how will they cope? If 20 percent only gets educated, where will the 70 percent turn to? I will quickly remind you that 20 percent of those who can afford this and deserve to be there, will still buy their way through the university especially the ones from the political clan. |
Flee from a bunch of kids without any form of intuitive reasoning. Please. By the way, did anyone force you to go to BABCOCK. The truth is bitter. Being passionate will only result in people making/saying rash decisions. There is a problem with the university system. Nigeria is graduation more than it can handle. 98% of those is schoo don't deserve to be there. In 10yrs what will happen to technical jobs like mechanics, carpenters and so forth. No one wants to do this jobs anymore. The reason is because everyone thinks they need to go to the university even if it means studying RELIGION as someone on this site as shown
I agree Nigeria is graduating more than she can handle but that's the responsibility of examination bodies -- that's why they are there. Wasn't it that students will sit for O'Level exams, JAMB and then get admitted to the university? When they found out people are using expos to get through the two stages of exams, they introduced Post-UME. Post-UME is supposed to be tough, but what happens? I hear the rich still buy their way through. Most people that are in the university aren't supposed to be there especially courtesy of cheating at exams, but what happens to the majority that deserves a place yet, can't afford the fees? I've asked you numerous questions you fail to answer, hence, you can't defend your points wisely. |
IFELEKE:Ujesaaaaaaa. . . . boo ni? |
Who said they can't offer scholarships based on need here. Define Bursary!! Stop comparing the west to Nigeria. We have our own unique problem and we need to solve it. When will you guys get tired of saying the same thing over and over. Of course the govt has failed to provide basic ammenties. Are you saying the solution is to keep the system the way it is. I repeat NOT EVERYONE IN NIGERIA NEEDS TO GO TO COLLEGE. EVERYONE HAS NEGELECTED TECHNICAL EDUCATION. It is people like you that will come here with a degree in religion and ask about job prospects ?The point is that we have the problem now. A way to solve it has been provided. Would you rather keep the system the way it is. If acceptance rates into universities drop, irrelevant majors/courses will be dropped. People would not be given useless courses because of Jamb. The schools will be able to focus more on research. Student population will drop and the standards will become what it was in the 70's Point proven. Sample of a current system Nigerian Graduate.
Let's assume the standards of education will improve -- which I don't believe anyway -- what happens to the larger populace that doesn't have the opportunity of going to school? Do you have an idea that even when school is affordable, we have as many YAHOO BOYS as possible? Do you have an idea how they are spreading all over the country? Do you know how many 419ners we have? Do you know how many armed robbers this will produce? It'll produce more societal ills than the "good" they think they want to do Nigeria. I'm try so hard not to pounce on you with insults, but has the Nigerian government ever done anything in favor of the poor? Tell me one thing they have done except not to enrich their pockets. So poor people's children will no more go to school and you think that's the best way to revamp education? By the way, you said education is not for everyone, yes, it is not but it's the government's duty to provide it comfortably now, if you choose not to take the opportunity, it's your decision. Not being able to go to college should be a choice, not because of the harsh policy of the government. Show me an instance of where this kind of policy was used to restore educational sanity? You are definitely delusional and there's no contesting that. Let the government provide more jobs in the technical department and see if there won't be enough people in that area. I see THE NIGERIA POLICE having more workers though. Won't that be an advantage? |
When you fill a form online what do they ask about your status? Single, married, divorced or widow? When someone talks to you, like an old friend, what do they ask about your status? They'd say "Are you married?" What will your most direct response be? "No, I'm not," or "Yes, I am,". In view of this, in my own eyes, I'm single because I'm yet to marry. When I have a girlfriend, I'm still single. OK, what do you say when a guy has two girlfriends? He's double? |
Quard Core:No, I don't think he went to school in the US. Even we over here know loan is not feasible in a corruption-ridden country like Nigeria. Everything is about making money at the expense of the poor. He's simply barbaric and lives in Cotonou. |
eyonigger:If she could have had sex with you, then I don't see why she'll keep kissing until marriage. Don't you think that's ridiculous? Of all things she wants to keep until marriage, it's kissing? I beg to differ. I still insist you ask her to know why she has kept that out of the relationship |
I don't agree with all of you. As a matter of fact, this is the only reasonable plan that i have seen from this administration. University education is not for everybody. Free education up to secondary school stage is enough. If you really want to go to college, then you should have the brain for it. If you do, there are bursaries and scholarships available. The reason we have the type of college grads that we have today is because 99% of them used EXPO to get into school. What is the point of graduating 1 million students every year when you only have 100,000 jobs available. If you feel you really need to go to college and you are poor and not smart enough, go get a loan. This may seem harsh but is the best thing that will happen to the education system. Tertiary education in Nigeria should not be FREE.
Another PDP miscreant on the block. You say free education up to the secondary school level should be free, where's the freeness? If people want to go to college, they should have brain for it, and what has brain got to do with increase in tuition fee? You obviously are the one with brain deficiency here because your point are stupidly incoherent. Where are the scholarships? Where are the places to get loans from? MTN, GLO and other companies are busy dishing out millions to customers for bullshit that aren't worth it instead of giving scholarships in a country that boasts of poor people; so my dear friend, who will give the scholarships here? Huh? What kind of college grads do we have? Tell me. Every company openly employ people with influence and that's the way it is: You don't know anyone, you won't get a job. There's 100,000 jobs available, who provides them? Who operates JAMB? Who operates WAEC and NECO? If they cheat at these exams, who sells out the exam papers? Quit being stupid and analyze your arguments intelligently. |
presido1:I don't think he knew he'll be so capable of ruining this country this way. debosky:I should also say that Sam Egwu is the immediate former governor of Ebonyi State. A state that has the lowest educational standard in the whole of the south-east. It disappoints me greatly that, in spite, of the pride his people have in him owing to his revamping of the state's educational system(the best thing they are proud of him for), he could stoop so low with a stupid president to increase tuition fees -- one which at least that I know -- 97% of people from his state cannot afford. |
Nigeria is the most pathetic country I've ever known. Yaradua is about to turn this country into a haven of criminals. Now, the poor, who have some comfort in good education will end up having no hope in the end and what do you think we will have in the end? We will have criminals all over everywhere. I am foreseeing a situation where money ritual will be on the rampage, children kidnapping, armed robbery and assassination. People will do anything to survive especially the poor. This government has no sense in whatever they do, and they are all concerned with their own pockets. How many of them have their wards in Nigerian universities? I don't think there's any of them. This sickened-yet-to-die president should be thrown in a deep sea and drowned with a lump of rocks on his neck. It's a shame Nigeria still has the same sets of leaders since 10 years. |
Oh yea we are. |
eyonigger:I stated that point in my first comment: If she kisses for too long, something exceptional happens to her and that's what you have to find out for yourself from her. She might be blunt, but be a bit shy to tell you some issues simply because she feels it's awkward. Some people are just not used to such things. Maybe if she kisses for too long she starts to cum or something -- I'm just saying -- but something she doesn't like happens to her when she kisses for a long time hence, makes her uncomfortable. |
whitelexi:I know the feeling bro: Makes you feel like a fool. BTW, wasn't that the girl you said would frown when you want to send money to your mom? I respect girls who can hold their own ace and want to win; I come to support their honest quest any time of the day. I had a girl at a time, who would never accept expensive gifts from me. I had to beg her for almost 3 months before she accepted a $900.00 watch from me that I bought her. Though we ain't no more but she's one of the girls that I respect too much. She's just a classic.. |
It's not complicated as it sounds. This is a state where two adults had a relationship, she got pregnant and they decided to abort the child; that was their decision, never influenced and was never pressured into it. They broke up which is not so bad -- well it happens all the time -- and that was it. Now, he falls in love with a different person entirely -- at least to him-- he didn't know she was her. They both have come up the level of courtship. I don't see why they have to break up because the relationship he had with her sister went sour and broken. She can go ahead and tell her sister, but if she loves him she will definitely stay in love with the guy. If he's a threat to her(kid sister), he would have done whatever he wanted to do before now. Will she leave him if this happened with another girl other than her elder sister? Of course she won't leave, so why does she have to leave the relationship? Because it's her sister? Then that's not love. She broke up on mutual respects and that shouldn't get into her sister's way of matrimonial happiness. If she's thinking her sister should break up with the guy because of her ordeal with him, then she's selfish. If they love each other, they should go on and get married. Her sister should step aside |
eyonigger:Well, the commitment I mean is where you'd make it known to her that you're intending to have courtship with her, then later marriage if it all goes well from the former: But I said that on account of my thought that you've not had sex. However, with the situation at hand now, I think she's mostly in the right position to tell you why she doesn't want to kiss you for more than shortly. I wouldn't have a speculation for her stance on kissing you, even when you said mouth odor is outta the scene. Check with her, she most definitely will have an answer for you. Maybe she, in her own sense of smell, perceives odor from your mouth. Does she have mouth odor herself or tongue pains? |
Divab:You are very correct. The ones with childish tantrums are yet to be made "men" |
The girl lied to him that she's 18, so it's no way the guy's fault. Her aunty might be trying to dissuade the girl from having a relationship with the guy and doesn't know how to go by it other than using that tactic; if I were him I won't believe that neither will I back off until the girl confesses to me she's truly 13. But if she's honestly 13, he should fragment the relationship. |
Sweetdoct247:Yes! Isn't it said that God appointed these judges? I'm having a serious doubt about that. As long as these people are there to be the judicial component of the government, stealing will remain a normal culture-- in Nigeria -- at least. |
Woman to woman war can never be settled and it happens every now and then. Women are always jealous of themselves. Women are too confused(65% of them) Women can take care of the family? Oh yea? So why do y'all have to depend on men for child support when you're divorced? Women can't live without men, tell me one woman who won't have a relationship with any man in 10 years and I'll give you my precious BMW. Lesbians break up every now and then and when they do, they maim their partners. Women are eternal gossips, so be sure there will be coup in your government. In women's world, there will be much more crimes and less active law enforcement agents. I can't keep mentioning them, but, a world of women will be: Chaotic, confusing and controlled by demonic women. |
Kunbee:I don't see anything wrong in that. She doesn't have to be boredom in bed because she's an active staffer in the church and she doesn't have to be a freak outside because she is in the bedroom. What about the pastors and the wives? Don't they have sex? What happens behind those closed doors? Only God knows. |
Sweetdoct247:God is a merciful One. He would have struck such people then at the thought of it in the old days, but this is another millennium. God gets to be more merciful every year and that's the secret . As for the thieving part, who says it's not an accepted conduct? What is stealing? Taking what doesn't belong to you. Does our money belong to our Governors, Senators and President? No. So what is that? Stealing. Who judges whether or not you're a thief? The Judiciary. But what they seem to do to Nigerian politicians is let them slide through, it's more like saying "Y'all listen, thieving is an accepted moral, political and judicial conduct in Nigeria" . In 2055, it will be morally justified for anyone to take part in it as long as you don't use a gun. |
