I disagree with some of your points -- although it holds true here but not in Nigeria. In Nigeria, parents have influence and prevail immensely over their decisions, especially marriage. Anyone you want to marry has to be acceptable to the family or they're not good for you even if that's the perfect person for you. They always want you to marry someone that suites them, they don't care if you love or don't love them. Some parents still go as far as indicating to their children not to get married to someone from another tribe. As I suspect, she lives in Nigeria, this cannot be ruled out. When she gets a job, she'll keep hearing rants of impatient parents whose hunger for grand kids are insatiable. They can't seize to want grand kids. Most of them even tell their children, adults at that, the number of children they should have. Nigeria is yet to experience civilization.

On a lighter note, is he a fan of 50 Cent? If he is, then I won't be surprised. When I was obsessed with 50's songs, I kept on paper chasing and if you dare call me when I was, Jesus help you if I answer that phone. I tell them girls then, don't call me, I'll call you and trust me, I called three times despite my tight schedule. Don't are pissed to the bones when you call them at unnecessarily especially if you're the kind that doesn't have much to say on the phone and just talk "sh*t" Not saying you talk that but I'm just saying maybe you're not allowing him some space

@Ibkaye and Theseeker, if you think you guys are gonna impress her with all this ranting the yáll is more pathetic losers than I thought. Chikena!
We're pathetic? I'll break it down so you'd see your foolishness. I asked her if they've had sex and I was just asking that to know if that was what the guy's looking for and maybe he got it and decided to play a smart one on her. Now, she said that wasn't the case and explained further how much she needs to hear him all the time, now, I call that bugging and that is obviously the problem here. It's not about sex. If it was about them agreeing not to have sex, he won't have been in the relationship anyways and if he was in it for sex even after the agreement then he's as dumb as you are. Why must all relationships end up with sex? Isn't there something else to enjoy in a relationship than sex?

Do you want to tell me you've had sex with every woman you've had relationships with? If yes, does that make you a true player? Do you know what a player means? What's the relationship between a sly, a player, a baller and a casanova? You're not in line with reality of this issue and that's your problem as well as the fulcrum of your dumbness. So who's more pathetic? Nonsense!
tell them brother, tell them. all that needy stuff, thats what the teddy bears are for  grin grin grin

oh i will gladly tell u

these are a few things u need to check

1) when do u call? during a game? when he is trying to sleep? etc

2) how long is ur call time? u will be surprised how much we feel like telling u shut up on the phone  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

3) what kind of topics do u bring to the table? i once had a girl that wanted to not just talk to me about flowers but make me go see a flower show, i felt like committing suicide, no lie  cry cry cry

4) what kind of tone do u use to get his attention on the first "hello"? i had a female friend that once called me and my friends while we were playing street fighter, she said "hello" in the most sexy way that it ended our game, we had to tell her to do it again. after she dropped, that was the discussion of the day.

5) do u sound needy? the last thing a man needs is to pile more worries on the ones in front of him. a lady that sounds too needy is a no no for most guys period, take it or leave it.

6) are u always complaining? stop, we all hate nagging  angry angry angry

7) how much compliment do u give to him? or is he the one that always gives u a compliment first? start my telling him how his deep voice turns u on, wow, u will get a conversation like no other and trust me it can lead to serious non sexual talk since u got his attention, u just have to be smart abt the transition

8 ) self less discussions: how often do u call just to talk ONLY about the welfare of his family and how he can contribute positively to HIS family advancement in whatever

9) creativity: how creative are u? when last did u decide to write him a poem, not necessary a love poem but something that he can relate to, u can only do this if u truly have studied him. write something creative with ur pic by the side (not nude pics) and send it to him by regular mail or email, some thing that will make him think deeply about things that affect him, u dont have to always call him, after reading ur deep thoughts, he might be the one calling u to ask for advise or share a fear or an ambition or something

10) how often do you pray? i mean more than 5mins sincere prayer. i know men like to feel like the almighty protector of the relationship and house but there is nothing more secured in most man's heart for him to know he has a wife that prays an honest prayer bcuz when the chips are down and the man is confused about what next to do, he wants to know that u can tell him, honey, its ok, we should pray together. i remember back in the dayz if i fall ill and they want to give me all kinds of drugs, i always tell them "may i call my mother?" that woman prays like there is no tomorrow and that gives me confidence that things will turn out right.

FYI: for any more advise, i need to see the color of ur $$$$$$  grin grin grin grin
There's nothing like a praying woman. I always have it at the back of mind that when I do want to get married, it has to be a lady that will drag me leg and head to go to the church. Someone who will force me to pray every night even when we want to eat. Now, that's a woman. As for your other points, man, you echoed what I've been thinking.

honestly I don't like girls that want to prove "sister virginia" in church and pretend that they dont get laid often. It sucks, so just drop the act.
What makes you think it's all about sex? Simply because she chose not to have sex with him doesn't make her holier than thou. If she accepts to sleep with any man she's in a relationship with, you'd say she's cheap. If she does that, you'll tell your friend she's cheap, now she's trying to get herself some dignity and you're saying it's hypocrisy. I think you need to check your facts before you start off showing your ignorance when it comes to relationships before on first hand, you lack what it takes to have one let alone give opinions about any.

There are some girls who are lousy callers and always don't know the right time to call, this pisses men off to no limits. You should find out what time is best for him to talk to you, some men don't like you stalking them from time to time because it makes them lose concentration. From what I deduce here, your incessant call is the problem and that's why he's not answering your calls. Don't call him again until he does. What you're going to do next is send him a text message and express an apology that you're sorry if you've made him feel uncomfortable lately and that you just needed to hear his sweet voice from time to time and you didn't know it wasn't good for him, so you'll not do that again. Leave it at that and don't call him until he calls you. After he calls you, limit your calls to at most three times daily. Morning, afternoon and night and try to keep your morning and afternoon calls as short as possible. Make sure your night call doesn't coincide almost with the time he's about to go to bed as he'll have been weak then.

If I were you, I'd hang on to the relationship and expect what I said earlier to happen, so when it does, I'll not be bothered. The gospel truth is, no woman waits for a man these days especially when she finishes school before you do. Another popular rant is, women days are like flowers, glows at daytime and loses value at night; meaning that she doesn't have time on her side being a woman.

It can never work. When she starts to work, her family puts more pressure on her to get married and when she's being asked to do that, you'll be surprised a man from the blue will come and start marriage talks, then you become this jobless undergraduate. That's how it works, it's happened many times before. The words you hear from her goes like this "I do love you very much but I have to respect my parent's decision" and boy, is there anything you can do to truncate her plans? NO! Not to mention of the new guy has some loaded cash somewhere.

This is an age where people want to actively get involved in the life of their kids . . . . . I must state that some parents are even at competition as to who should have more impact and influence in a child's life, so you see? What you posted existed some 30, 40, unlimited number of years ago, but things are beginning to reframe now and kids are feeling much more comfy with their dad. Are you missing the word "daddy's pet"? That tells you more.
Family › Re: Do A Wife's Earnings Belong To Her Husband? by TheSeeker(m): 5:22pm On Jul 18, 2009
This is marriage and just doesn't involve the two of them, they have kids to consider as well(if they already have kids). There'd be some amount of insight as to what they feel is right for the family and they have to at all time, put that at the forefront. Husband should have his own account as well the his wife. Have a common goal of how money will be spent as I'm particularly sure the both of you know how much comes into the family at the end of the month. As long as the needs in the family are taken care of I don't see why who's in possession of who's salary should be a nagging concern. Some husbands, sorry to say, can't be trusted with their wife's income and I do not encourage a joint account as it sparks off too much problem later on. I'm flying in the face of this popular speculation that it's a man's ultimate responsibility to look after his wife financially -- I do agree it'd conventionally the opinion, but the woman should assist the man greatly when it comes to monetary issues in the family. You see women working, piling up their money in their bank accounts, the man keeps working his ass off trying to place the family on some comfort level and has lesser money in his own account because he's busy working and taking care of the financial needs in the family. This same wife awaits him to pay for her hair dos, her beautification projects and all, in some sad cases where divorce comes next as a line of responsive action to a disagreement and messy rancor in a marriage, the man stands to lose more and he has to part with some of his hard-earned income coupled with the ones his wife stocked in her bank account: So I say let's split the responsibilities, I ain't your slave and you ain't mine. As part of insurance policy, a man should never rule out divorce in his marriage. We do not have control over our marriages as we all rightly know those who have gone through that stage never wished for it and that has to be put into consideration when dealing with money issues. That was why I said, some husbands can't be trusted with their wives' income; if there's a case where divorce comes up, what does the wife stand to get? Part of her own hard earned money. It's dicey though but in marriage, both parties have to put the family at the forefront and also be extremely smart: No one wants to work all their life to lose it all so cheaply.

Talking to your sister not to move with boys and the same preacher going for someone else's sister speaks in high tone of your hypocrisy but let me try and understand it doesn't work that way with sudden "crush". What kind of relationship are you intending to have with this girl? How old are you? If you're a bit distant from her in age, she'll feel a disconnect, making it odder that you're her friend's older brother. Do you perhaps know that your sister may have discussed your warnings with her in their regular discussions and she probably thinks you're not living up to your words? Also, girls within the teen ages to 20 years are kids to me. They are a carcass of emotional instability. So you really have to be a patient lion to deal with them. I am sure your sister won't want you to hurt her friend(if she allows you to date her at all) and if she lets you and the end result means you hurt her, it'll go a long way in deteriorating your credibility with your sister, trust me!
Romance › Re: What Will U Do When Ur Fiancee Dates Ur Dad by TheSeeker(m): 4:14pm On Jul 18, 2009
First you have to know why your dad slept with her? Why she agreed to sleep with him? Is it because of money? What's the intellectual capacity of this girl? Do you by chance think your dad may have intimidated her that he'll paint her bad in your presence and not support the relationship? Some girls could be really frightened by a strong member of their man's family hence, making them do the undone. What kind of relationship do you have with her, just a plain relationship or planning to get married? How long have you been dating? What kind of girl do you know her to be? Where you met her is inconsequential, there are very bad girls in churches and extremely good girls with trustworthy characters in night clubs. You need to understand the whole additives to this action before you act. Some women have weak minds and can't promptly make decisions. I've seen a lady convinced into having sex with a guy just because he said he'd set her boyfriend up with the school authority; this other guy is member of the executive of the Student Union Government.

Sorry if it came out as envenomed, didn't actually mean it that way. Call it egocentric, I like to believe that men should think faster and better(no offense to women, they are better outliners and planners) and I hate that a man should be taken for a ride and making matters worse, the said man, should not see it in crystal clear light. It's a simple thing to see, when a woman starts at important issues, to reference to your personal effects and achievements, always raise any eyebrow but there are few exceptions, an instance of where a woman is trying to let you manage your income and tells you how to minimize my spending and be somewhat frugal and many more where they offer useful tips. But when a woman makes references to your money, car, house, to suit her own desire, something is amiss and you've got to get to the root of it so you know who you're dealing with.
