God1000:
The money is not that much, a continental cup like AFCON should worth more than that but the trophy itself is beyond money sha.

FIFA spent a whopping $440 million for all the participating teams in the last tournament.

Winner got $42m

Runner up $30m

Third place $27m

Fourth place $25m

Asian cup is lesser, and they play that one every 4 years

Marry her. Anytime she is pregnant, you'll do a test to see if the baby is SS. If yes, you'll abort it and try to conceive again

Possible situation

1. They stole someone debit card at gun point or by trick and requested for the pin, they avoided the ATM stand cos the machine will take their pictures when used and moreover, withdrawal limit of ATM is also an hindrance, and it will take time to withdraw 500k and above cos ATM max withdrawal at a single transaction is 10-20k. The man suffering from supposed stroke, two kids, referral and the woman are all accomplice.

You have already been indicted cos there's a transactional link between your account and the debit card in question here, if anything should later come up, the bank will definitely trace a link to your account.

What to do; Go to a nearby station and report the case, so as to be exonerated just incase anything springs up. Also, asked them to come and get back the refund in person, secretly take pictures of them, put your phone on record and purposely ask question or initiate a discussion that would make it clear that you are not in anyway related to them and do not have any deal aside for the fact that they are buying goods from you and also returning it to get a refund.

Warning ⚠️: do not accept any form of compensation for refunding them, they might offer you a deal to refund them 900k instead of the 1M they initially sent for the goods, please do not accept it, but however, you can charge them for inconvenience, this can be defended.

If you must refund, refund it to the POS account they used to make the transfer

Family / Re: In my late 20s; I Don't Desire The typical Marriage, But I Want To Have Children by TheSociopath(m): 12:29am On Sep 15, 2023
UnconventionalT:
I've been a guest of the platform, I created this account to get the opinions of my people since I happen to be a Nigerian.

I am a lady in my late 20s and I have discovered over the years that although I love love and the idea of marriage, I believe the conventional typical marriage will not work for me.
I am a core introvert, I enjoy my space a lot and I loose so much of my energy spending a lot of time around people. When I was in uni years ago, I made sure I didn't enter a relationship with a guy in my school because I didn't want a boyfriend that will most likely always want to be in same space as me, or try to spend very much time together.
I enjoy long distance relationship, because it means I will not be seeing my patner at all times, I only enjoy little moments of companionship before I get tired of sharing the same space with my patner no matter how in love I am.

I have observed over the few years that the few guys I've been with are people that didn't live in same town as me, and when I tried dating men within close proximity, it always ends in complaints from them about how I don't miss them enough to come spend time.

I don't enjoy sleep-overs, although I've been compelled to do that on very few occasions(probably less than 4 times) I always can't wait to get back to my house, I have never spent more than one night at a stretch with any of my ex. I really do enjoy long video calls.

To be honest, I am also not a fan of sex, I could go months without it. I can't imagine being married and having to do that all the time with a sexually active man that I'll continually share my space with. The only time I feel the urge to do that is when I am on my ovulation period which is quite normal for most women. angry I am doing my japa masters degree and I tried to develop a relationship with someone I really love and attracted to, he is currently complaining about same thing my ex would complain about.

I could be married tomorrow if I want to as I have two men ready to do that with me, but I cannot lie to myself or the man that intends to marry me and have him live his life in misery. I love children and want to have my own kids.
My idea of marriage will be a marriage of convenience, where my husband and I do not necessarily have to live under the same roof for extended periods of time and we can co parent our kids on our own terms. This is the only way I can have a long lasting marriage if I am not deceiving myself. A long distance marriage, family vacations, have the privilege of being married and still be able to occupy my own personal space as much as I want. This can be reviewed as time goes on by the way.
I am not certain if I can meet a man that shares the same idealogy with me, I'll get married to him tomorrow grin

The only thing I'll regret not having by the time I'm 30 will be a child of my own, I carried a baby in church today and I wished it was mine. I have babysitted my nieces before and I enjoyed my time with them, kids brings me a lot of positive energy. I really don't mind having just 2 kids for a responsible adult man that isn't really interested in marriage as well.

It's not my fault, my marriage will fail if I try to practise it the typical way and it won't even be the fault of the man(if he is a good man).

Help me out guys, I am at a cross roads. Are there men that are open to long distance marriages? I'll be in the comment to reply as much as I can.

Mods pls help move to front page.

You are my kind of person. At some point, I wanted to discuss with a lesbian to give birth to 2 kids for me and she can continue to have female partners. I just enjoy being alone.

By the way, I'm in the UK too

Travel / Re: Japa Story: The Cost Of Relocating To The UK With Family by TheSociopath(m): 9:33am On Dec 01, 2022
zed7:
I always tell people that japa is not for the poor. It's the middle class that can actually afford to relocate. Right now it's all about herd mentality. Many are like a bull going to the slaughter house. No concrete plan.

I actually wish them goodluck. They will sweat and grind for every penny. Nothing is given freely.

Whilst I know the country failed them, I also know that this is second slavery. The West don't need guns and mirrors anymore, they just need to dangle visas and tweak their policies a little and our best hands will run and go slaving for them, whilst their citizens idle away and enjoy the fruit of our peoples hardwork. Just like the days of old.

The West got this advanced with the sweat of Africans and other less developed nations. They're still doing same till date. It's pathetic.

I'm not slaving away here bro. I'm actually enjoying my life here, better than I did in Nigeria

Okay so I came across your topic after doing a Google search on the topic.

I was scammed of about N25,000 from a vendor on Instagram who claims they sell hand made shoes. I paid the total money for the shoe and the transport cost and since then the guy stopped replying messages nor picking his calls. I intend to follow this your steps above to see if I can recover my funds from this scammer. I will post my progress here too as I go on.

Did you get your money back?

He is simply a thief and should be made to pay.

The wattage of those refrigerators can be used to calculate all his consumption with the assumption that the connection was made 5 years ago.

If he doesn't have money, those refrigerators can be sold to upset the bill.

Due to low power consumption, power supply is relatively stable in the North especially Maiduguri. For him to go ahead with that connection despite stable power, he is a thief.

Offset, not upset. Thanks

your response should go like this, I believe I know myself pretty well in terms of what works best for me while studying. I am a firm believer that quality study is far more effective than sitting down there reading for hours upon no end. Quality study involves writing down key learning points from each lessons. Also I have since discovered myself that I am more effective studying at evening time of the day during which my level of concentration and assimilation is always at is peak. So, I have already have plan in place to make sure that my studies are effective and utilize my time very well while at the university.

Others too should contribute

So sorry, but this answer is wrong. Someone has provided the correct answer. Please take note
