ENJOYMENT!

Explorers:
Shark repellents such as Sharkbanz have been developed to send out strong magnetic fields.

The Electro-magnetism sent out by the device overwhelms the electro-receptors that sharks uses to hunt.

As shark approaches the shark repellent band bracelet/anklet, it detects these signals.

This then confuses the shark and effectively blinds it, vastly reducing the chances of an attack.

Nice. Good to know this. This uncle haf watch Nat Geo/Discovery tire. Respect.

Well, are they trying to say that until recently Punch has been mainly dependent on FG patronage for survival? Because if that is the case then it means the business model behind the company wasn't sustainable to begin with. Apart from the older generation, most folks don't even buy or read hardcopy newspapers anymore these days; many have chosen instead to rely on online news sources (including Nairaland). Many opposition/PDP inclined newspapers/media outlets have been surviving since the party lost power, so I don't see the need for this sort of campaign. undecided

You seem not to understand that Nigeria is a largely public sector-led economy. Why do you think almost everybody wait for budgets to be passed year on year.

By the way Punch Nigeria holds one of top three position in organization, dynamism and profitability (that is if its not number one) Kindly do your findings.

Olominira:
More crises for Trump and an average American. This is unnecessary. Trump is committing a huge mistake by canceling the initial agreement reached with Iran.

Firstly, US can't even manage the ongoing crises she created in the past with Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya and others. Who's advising Trump? Crises in Libya is still a crisis in some parts of Europe. Germany already has millions of refugees from Syria. These are countries of smaller populations yet you seriously want to destabilize another country of 70-80 million people all at once.

The entire America with Europe would have a serious impact if Iran is set into crises. In fact, the entire world feel this impact because by the time 40 percent of oil output is cut off due to total blockage of Strait of Hormuz. The global market would respond immediately. This is not a wise choice. Even in Nigeria, a litre of petrol may go as far as N500

Brilliant view. Bless up!

Scenes like this (hiding behind the dashboard and engine ) makes you want to ask this questions :

Are Africans truly Animals ?grin

While I do not subscribe to this type of shit. The root cause of this is hopelessness. African leaders are totally useless lots. Your people continue to live like scavengers
& vultures looking for dead bodies to feed on. No form of safety nets or welfare whatsoever for the poor. To make it worse, no proper education, no planning. All they're good at is sorrow, tears and blood.

It's only misery & hopelessness that can cause this type of thing. When people get to that level they start exhibiting some animal behaviour but NO they are not animals - they just want to survive the only way they know or at least get to a place where they can hope again. They don't mind dying in the process.

It's so depressing. Those that are fortunate should just be thankful and remember there are lots of people in worse state who would give bones & blood to trade places.

From PTF to The Buhari Organization (TBO), Buhari has consistently protected corrupt close aides from the consequences of their ethical and legal infractions.

This attitude of mollycoddling corrupt but loyal aides and appointees while pretending to be a man of “integrity” who is “fighting” corruption is getting worse by the day and indicates that, in spite of self-righteous declarations to the contrary, Buhari is himself morally indistinguishable from his crooked cronies.

It is impossible to deploy the resources of logic to argue that Buhari has integrity. He doesn’t. Well, unless integrity means something to Buhari supporters other than what it actually means in the English language

Romance / Re: What Are The Spiritual Effects Of Sleeping With A Married Man Knowingly ? by TheStarsAlign: 4:25pm On Dec 15, 2019
Beverlyjean:
A friend of mine is in desperate need of advice... She had unprotected sex with a married man... Her fear now is that she feels it might affect her in the future because she knew he was married before she did it...

She regrets her actions... She said she never planned it, although the man had always been disturbing her, but she felt she could control the situation when she visited him, but one thing led to another after a couple of drinks and they ended up having unprotected sex.

The man in question is old enough to be her father according to her but she still doesn't know why she did what she did because at that time she was having relationship issues. She has ended all ties with the man but her fear is that if what she did will affect her in the future because she doesn't want her future husband to ever cheat on her.

She is so broken now and confused... Again she doesn't know how her next boyfriend will think she's that type of person that sleeps with married men if he finds out what she did, because her boyfriend ended the relationship when she told him, although it happened before they met. She doesn't want her next boyfriend to treat her with disrespect if he finds out or make her loose her value.

Sincerely it feels like you're the She in the story but then lets put that aside. grin

Truth is there's no sin too much for God's forgiveness as long as we admit it and genuinely repent from it. God is ever faithful.

Even Apostle Paul with all the wisdom and anointing talked about the constant battles between his flesh & spirit.

Also, don't worry so much about some future you're not in yet rather abstain as much as possible and pray for God's help. Repent truthfully when/if you fall. Can we be in sin and expect that grace abound?

Lastly, do whatever you do because it puts you in right standing with your God and not necessarily because of fear of retribution of sort.

All is well.

Do you think it is a lack of technical schools that hinders our growth?

I daresay, we have technical schools in close proximity to most Nigerians but years of snubbing technical knowledge, believing it is beneath us is the reason it doesn't fly.

Nobody is saying infrastructure or even structure is unimportant but I'm certain the problem goes beyond that.

Same reason why you would find a graduate from Umudike making waves at MIT.

It is the fight in the dog and not the dog in the fight that matters.

Good. What I'm saying in essence is that Nigerians should be made to have sense of belonging and hope again - those amenities will go a long way than the rubbish stipend they are planning.

Nigeria may have a number of problems but the major one is how much juicy political positions are. Take away most of those excesses in terms of salaries/benefits/allowances and then properly punish corrupt offenders with capital punishment and see things change rapidly.

Aside: I don't t think a senator/minister should earn more than 500k/month. A president maybe 1m. Take away foreign medicals & education for them and their families. Cut off those rubbish allowances and benefits and watch how how only serious-minded people will seek political positions. But how can all these be possible without some form of revolution.

As the 79 Nigerians that were arrested in America did this year abi?

Is that the reason countless others are doing 419 in UK or Malaysia?

Nigerians are yet to be research oriented.

The Nigerian youth invest their time in BBN or armchair politics

Forget this talk of infrastructure or lack thereof.

A society that wants to succeed overlooks it's own flaws and soldiers on in focus.

India never had any of these things in place but they were designed to succeed and they have.

All you've mentioned boils down to orientation which can also mean education. Mind you, education does not only mean university degree. How many technical school do we have that trains mechaniics, tailors, plumbers, carpenters etc. When people are properly educated, they become equipped and can more easily fend for themselves.

Do you have idea how much India is investing in education and healthcare. They may still be far from the west but not to be compared with Nigeria in any way.

If our people gets those basic things, they will have sense of belonging and once that happens, they will not be running helter skelter all over the world seeking greener pastures - at least it would reduce drastically.

It's contempt of the court!!!

But as the National Assembly, is "an organ" of the APC, they looked away!!!

INEC is also done and dusted organ of the APC

CJN couldn't even condemn the happening under his own nose, what justice can that one deliver to the masses

Punch newspaper now has my respect and I am sure so many sane Nigerians feel the same

It took the bravery of a sane girl "Mordi" to expose the atrocities in our universities to the world cause the Nigerian government played dumb!!!

The press has kept quiet long enough.

Enough is enough!!!

Abeg don't mind the useless man. Did Nigerians tell him they are embarrassed? In fact more institutions should take stands too so we can know who is who. SAN title has become so rubbished.
