Statistics shows one is more likely to get shot in the US and stabbed in the UK than Nigeria so it's not so gloomy. So should you eventually decide to visit, worry not much as long as you're not loud/lavish. As a mulatto, you may notice more eyes (its only natural). A few dont's. 1. Don't hang out late nights (if possible) 2. Dont go to places you're not familiar with alone. 3. Don't come and stay for long. Few months should do. The longer you stay, the more you're likely gon get pissed. 4. If you decide to visit beaches, parks etc go in group (probably with fam) but never alone. 5. Don't trust 100% but be calm/diplomatic about it. 6. Don't get carried away if you start getting lots of love/favour. Give out as much as possible also. 7. Avoid areas/states notorious for kidnapping/bombings etc. (Sorry I can't mention.) 8. Stay out of open political debates/arguement, the clime is charged and lots of people are intolerable nowadays. ...and you'll be just fine. |
johnmba:Any interpreter in the house? |
The government is working (hard) ![]() |
People just like seeking vanity. So what effect will a wife not adopting husband's name have on her or the universe? What we should be discussing is how to build happier homes, reduce divorce rates, raise better kids not this shit. This generation sha. |
Stevengold:The thief probably getting it as replacement for the one stolen from him. Fuel attendants are prime suspects in this. Experienced this first hand at a filling station. ---- This Corolla heartbreak is just getting louder, I'm now scared of that car. |
Seeing this two years after but it feels freshly pressed. Some of us didn't get to experience/master them before that age and have paid dearly but thank God for grace. |
Gerald454:Bro, the direction you're pushing the conversation may not necessarily be true. The problem with Nigeria is not about Yoruba being fearful. It is about how a few set of people with power manipulates majority of people by every means possible making them distracted and fighting each other. One of the strategy they use is fear. You keep mentioning professors/educated people being swayed. We all know not many irrespective of what they know would challenge a crazy man with a gun - it's simply called wisdom. Moreover, we live in a country where votes don't really count (a system created by the same powerful few). They dont want this to happen though, but the day everybody in Nigeria (especially youths) realized this and speak with one voice, that will mark a new beginning. Just look at what happened in Bolivia. |
Some cone heads will come now and say this reports are the works of PDP - PDP people have suffered sha. Anyways, I wonder how the ex-coup plotter was able to fool some people so much that they'd even kill to defend him. The only thing I can say is God should open their eyes. |
Its a jungle out there |
The level of some people's retardation eh, you go just dey wonder till you turn wanderer. |
Corporate conductor. But wait first make Sun wire you small... |
1x2x3:Word of caution. Trump has made several blunders, he is only being egoistic. Just go and find out out much farmers in the US are suffering and are angry with him. |
I can bet that he will come back in 2023 to blame PDP for his inability to complete the project. Don't argue just wait and see. |
solmusdesigns:Abeg go and sit down. Which fame would Deji Adeyanju be looking for *risking his life to help another person. Someone is trying to do what is right you're here talking anyhow when common relevance you cannot spell. BBN generation, it's not a must that someone must comment on every thread. |
Pinky, are you thinking what I'm thinking? Does that mean Maina is getting back his properties? Ok let me wait first. |
Normally Profs are meant to be very smart people but for Osunbade I just can't understand waisgoinon. When we try to push idealism, zombies/sycophants become red because we're all not facing same direction. What you fail to learn on day one, you will on day seven; only it would have been late... |
A wasteland called country. Impunity & senselesness everywhere. One day Osunbade will grow sense. A nation to cry for. |
Simple life just like moi |
So the default Cam floors GCam? |
ibkonekt:May God bless you whoever you are. The truth is many don't know it's a strategy by this evil regime to perpetually keep fear in the hearts of the people and keep them subdued. The primary reason can only be because they are carrying a burden of illegitimacy (the feeling of not being accepted) and it's difficult finding peace. Just think about it. Imagine, sending military people into peaceful cities where many are illiterates without gainful employment and even IDs. Only an irredeemable fool from Devil's Hell would support this. Don't be surprised when they start checking people's phones too. If only they can use half of this energy against BH boys. The wicked flee when no one pursues - Proverbs 28:1 |
Admitted, they were wrong but now the plot may twist in their favour. If they are smart, they should sue his ass immediately. They just might end up getting part of the pie. Kidnapping, assaulting, dehumanization, humiliation and more. |
Hahahaha, one empty-head said it's not money that was in the BullionVan. I thought deeply about it and agreed with him - may be it's FuFu that's inside. I dont envy these folks at all, It's a lot of work defending the impossible. ZOMBIES are so hopeless, even Adeboye cannot REDEEM them. |
While at it, they should also not forget to regulate the air we breathe. Misplaced priority. |
Saintp:Really, nothing can be worse than this affidavit General. We can't afford another incompetence + cluelessness at the same time; we'll just have to pick one of the two (worst case scenario) and that's also if our people still choose to remain dumb. God help us. |
Lastly... That's me staring as the Sun slowly sneaked into hiding. Peace and blessings.

For the good people on this forum, pls be vigilant don't let them turn Nairaland to Mumuland for whatever reason. Contest every reasoning till only the truth is standing. Peace. To those who may be interested:

NGpatriot:Some people just messaged me that you're a bot and I've been here trying to conversate. Thanks people for bringing things to my attention. (The only section you're active is Politcs) I'm back to work. Bye. Mr BullionVan defender - either you're bot or not. I'm done with you. Have a good day.
|
NGpatriot:Hahahaa!, so you're so pained you're striking my post. You're definitely a pussy... Edit: It's a matter of time all the looters will rot in jail (including your demi-gods) then your stipends will stop and your eyes will clear. Oponu. |
NGpatriot:Sorry, you're now also confused. Ibos are IPOBS, Zombies are those who do not have capacity to use their heads. Ibos are never known to be Zombies (I respect them). Olodo calling somebody Olodo. Bobo Mumusco & company. By the way, I'm a 100% Yoruba guy. Forget your moniker, I'll school you on what patriotism is, you definitely have empty head. Continue to dance naked in the market. |
NGpatriot:You're actually more dumb than I thought. Your reasoning is so clouded that you're beginning to shoot yourself in the foot. It's apparent you cannot even understand yourself how much more a legal document. See here's an interpretation that should be easy enough for you https://lawpadi.com/8-things-the-average-nigerian-should-know-about-the-money-laundering-act-2011/ Chew it properly without your clouded brain, then come back to me to argue. You're definitely an original/confirmed zombie. |
