Thanks so much.

Pls, let's start idiomatic expression and proverbs. They have embedded meanings.

It rained cats and dogs means that it rained heavily.

Dogs and baboon will be soaked in blood means ...?
If you can, repeat the idiom the way he said it. Let's dissect it
PoliticsRe: Can PDP be A viable Opposition Party? by theV0ice:
Without trying to be condescending, I can confidently say that nobody in PDP can lead any opposition movement.

PDP as a group only thrives where it has access to power. Their bigwigs behave like children born into royalty who never have to fight any battles to survive. This was so evident in the way they were begging and pleading with OBJ to come lead their campaigns despite his open disdain for them. Patience Jonathan inspite of her flaws would do better at mobilisation of the commoners than gej, sambo, mark, wike (who can only mobilise thugs) etc.

The only fear I had about an APC victory is slowly being realised.......the death of opposition politics in Nigeria because those gifted in that game have now being propelled to the centre cry

But GMB and APC know better than to take us for granted.....because the raw materials to start another viable opposition will be created from the usual suspects cool

Ehm, dogs and baboon nko?

Sorry, our voices are gagged.
Just like you saying "it rained cats and dogs in my town" means I'll find cats and dogs lying on the street after the rainfall right?

Pls don't let's start lessons on idioms and proverbs wink

the igbos are in a mourning state now because of the outcome of the 2015 election... They feel so disappointed that Goodluck lost to buhari....

No one is mourning pls. Its an election, not war.

You guys should stop these childish threads pls.

Pls let this period be used for healing abeg..... not taunts on a whole region

So, why has he not been blacklisted?

Let me not talk about dogs and baboon.
Maybe gej his friend begged for him.

Anyway they won't blacklist an elder that decided to display some irresponsibility before a global audience. Its not yet a criminal offence

Neo colonialism.

What happened to those who threatened to make the country ungovernable?
That is Alhaji Lawal Kaita. A member PDP board of trustees and gej loyalist.

He too is a candidate for rejection if they wish to apply it

One hell of a crazy guy.

Only a madman (from the SS) would attempt to stand against the might of a SS presidency plus an aggressive and brutal first lady plus a wicked wike and still believe he won't be crushed.

He's just a crazy man.......but I like him

He neutralised South west and the so called Lagos votes with those visits. Remember how you guys were baning on 3 million votes from Lagos? He ended up sharing the 1.4 million votes almost equally.
cheesy

My bro, I won't argue with You. Politicians on both sides boasted that even Mary Magdalene was on their side. Even gani Adams promised gej 6 million votes and got himself a pipeline contract (maybe to guard my borehole pipes).

The incontrovertible fact is that he spent 4 weeks of the 6 weeks extention gallivanting all over SW begging for understanding because those that know told him point blank that his salvation was dependent on the SW.

If SW really didn't matter in the long run, then it means he was scammed twice

Jonathan had more northerners than anyone else surrounding him, yet your brothers will always turn their hate on Igbos.
The elections have been won but it seems the so called winners are the bitter ones.
I don't like the focus on Igbo actually (why should I when I'm married to an Igbo queen and have lived in ss and se all my life?), but I really wished Igbo weren't as vitriolic in their speeches against Hausa and Yoruba. I know countless times that even in my own personal attempts to engage igno monikers on NL in civil conversation, I've been rudely dragged down the hate path. I've also been shocked by the attacks of some Yoruba monikers too.

We all must decide to heal and I wish the visible leaderson all sides can be mature enough to do it at a round table devoid of Ghana must go bags of money.

Someone like me has a lot to lose on both sides in the eventuality of any conflict

PoliticsRe: Was GEJ Scammed By The Southwesterners? by theV0ice: 8:00am On Apr 01, 2015
Those who knew his money wouldn't sway the Yoruba told him the truth but he decided to listen to businessmen like Jimoh Ibrahim, thugs like gani Adams, crooks like kashamu and paper weights like mimiko.

Even if he had won, mainstream Yoruba would prefer to remain opposition than go back to their vomit.

He wasn't scammed. He was simply impervious to the truth

This line in your comment gave you away as someone who knows the trends in Nigerian politics.

In the first republic, we were in opposition.
In the second republic, we were in opposition.
When Abiola built alliances and won, the election was canceled. We were in NADECO, also in opposition.

When OBJ was imposed on the country, we found ourselves both in power (nominally) but essentially in opposition (Alliance for Democracy).
When PDP rigged SW, it was Tinubu that built ACN, the most organised opposition political party
It was Tinubu that engineered the alliance that crystallized into APC.

Where is Orji kalu's PPA?
Where is APGA and peter Obi that used to be the face of APGA?

The real challenge now is the East has never really played a traditional opposition role. Will they rise up to the occasion and provide a vibrant opposition? can they reform PDP ? Let wait and see.
The PDP I know can never play opposition politics but let's wait and see sha

PoliticsRe: Jagaban by theV0ice:
I never really took to ojuyobo (i see that name from his first tenure as gov has been dropped wink ) but I cant discountenance his political astuteness. The man has foresight and understands politics inside out.

Tinubu will never have the impact awo had and still has on Yoruba people as awo's impact transcends politics but Nigerian politics will never forget him. He knew the power of political compromise. An attribute awo terribly lacked.

My only problem with gmb's victory is that opposition politics is dead in Nigeria. Those gifted in it have been pushed to the centre.

I will congratulate US and the UK also. Their economic interest is protected wink
Imagine rivers with all that blood, death and violence having 75% turnout?? I throway salute for you and wike o grin

How about the 1.4m from rivers where gun shots started since Friday plus killings (not forgeting the prof that suddenly couldnt read what he himself claimed to have written) and the 1.2million from delta that no one heard a thing about until the man appeared wink

On US, UK and economic interests, suffice to say that since we're addicted to help from them, they'll always pokenose into our affairs and a weak leader will not be able to tell them to buzz off. Also they don't care if the devil rules Nigeria as long as misgovernance doesn't create 170million refugees for the world to manage.

GMB has dared the UK before.....jona will never be able to even if u give him 100 terms as president

PoliticsRe: Analysis (GuardianUK): Election Of Muhammadu Buhari Is Truly Revolutionary by theV0ice: 8:42pm On Mar 31, 2015
Below is one of the reasons I concluded PDP is an agglomeration of drunk clowns

The president’s campaign did what it could to try to discredit Buhari, but in a haphazard fashion. One day Jonathan’s people would accuse Buhari, a Muslim, of wanting to introduce strict Sharia law throughout Nigeria, the next they’d insist he wants to legalise same-sex marriage

How could the horde of jesters not see the contradiction in their propaganda?

That in bold should be the collective resolve of ALL NIGERIANS.....
I tell u. After IBB annulling June 12 with all the ward campaigns I did in phalga ward 20 (PH) even as a secondary school boy, I resolved never to take politics too hard again but the campaign of calumny against GMB brought me back into the fray. PDP took us all for granted hence they thought they could refuse to articulate issues and they'll still win.

I wanted people power to prevail and I'm glad it did.

We'll be watching GMB and his team very closely cool
