HzRF:At least he'll start. The journey of a thousand miles behind with a step....gej was never interested in going down those routes. At least GMB will start it |
menesheh:Really?? He should have prosecuted Tinubu during the campaigns? Why not wait until he's sworn in? |
nagoma:OK. Thanks for the correction |
camelus:My friend, gej became a godfather of the ruling and looting class. GMB will not place a barricade to stop people from coming to greet him. Even if fayose or ffk with all the hate campaigns they orchestrated against him come calling, courtesy demands he welcomes them and smile with them. Judge him from may 29th |
karlnyeno:Keep quiet abeg. What is this rubbish idea you have that anybody that speaks against gej is a northerner? Go drink the oil na....... since na u plant am for ground |
mmmustapha:That's good to know. I wish he can be persuaded to come serve the fatherland. In a way, I trust him more than I even trust buhari |
agabaI23:agabal23, you're a very wicked guy ![]() You no know say my fingers dey pain me from typing? ![]() Manage this one for now abeg ![]() |
agabaI23:Who told you over invoicing has been dealt with?? Go to PH and ask any contractor why NDDC contracts are more lucrative than any one from Total or Shell ![]() If we continue loosing 400,000 barrels/day with oil at $50/barrel, the economy will continue to lose $7.2B/year. Subsidy fraud continues till this very day. Funny enough, I just came in now from buying fuel for my gen @ N95/ltr yet we are told govt is still subsidising it for N87/ltr My friend, let GMB assemble his team first. He never claimed to be an economist the same way you will not honestly arrogate economic prowess to gej. A man is as good as his team. Let him assemble the team and we take it from there. |
fr3do:I'm not scared of the north and its violence. The truth is people would die on both sides if war erupts and it will be a very unnecessary war. I also believe in and support regionalism. Let's go back to how we started. That's the only way we can respect ourselves but until then, we must make what we have presently work. |
GentleToks:He's the brave kano Prince who though a diehard IBB boy, looked IBB in the face and told him he was wrong on the case of the annulment of June 12 1993 elections. He was military governor of Kaduna state and is reputed to have made the statement "I can follow IBB to war blindfolded" to show how much he believed in IBB as a general. He lost his commission because he refused to support the annulnent or Abacha's takeover of govt instead of handing over to MKO. Rumour has it that he would have been killed if not because he was a blue blood. All these despite his famed dislike of MKO whom he viewed as arrogant but he insisted justice and fairplay demanded MKO be sworn in even if he was a devil He left the Army and government unceremoniously, a simple man without money or scandal. The last I heard of him is that he was into poultry farming. I think gej offered him chairmanship of one probe committee in 2011 but umar declined. |
Col Abubakar Dangiwar Umar if he's still alive Edited: a little bit about him He's the brave kano Prince who though a diehard IBB boy, looked IBB in the face and told him he was wrong on the case of the annulment of June 12 1993 elections. ozoigbondu: ![]() Cool down abeg |
ozoigbondu:My friend, do you really mean this or you're trying to be politically correct? Really the over pampered tout should shut it and go enjoy his fortune in Cotonou. He shouldn't endanger innocent folks going peacefully about their daily bread. How many Igbo or ND youth got a share of the largese he's been lucky to enjoy? |
Is this off the top of your head or there's a veritable source?? |
todayboy:Its to the eternal Shame of PDP and gej that you have details of tinubu's sleaze and the worst you could do to him was spend tax payers money on documentaries. Tell gej to prosecute him in these remaining 2 months after all he has nothing more to lose. Is that too difficult? I trust GMB won't be that forgiving |
2nd Niger bridge must be completed. |
On malabu oil deal alone, Nigeria was scammed of 1.1billion dollars Sanusi said $20B was missing but even if we agree to the wuruwuru PWC verdict, that is still $1.48B missing 400,000 barrels of oil goes missing daily. At a price of $50/barrel, that amounts to $20M/day making $7.2B every year. Subsidy scam is over a trillion Pension scam was over N30B. My friend, buhari is more than correct. If we can stop all these leakages, we will start the journey to redemption |
oyb:You guys took a lot of stick from them and a times I wonder what kept you guys going. I know those of you I have so much regard for and I wouldn't want to sound patronising otherwise I would mention names. However, you'll prove you're bigger by not repaying them in their own coin. Their consciences are already dealing with them. Cheers bro |
winniz:I have to laugh ![]() Why not ask him if they gave him receipt so he can take them to court to get the money back? When sensible people were telling him and you that it doesn't work like that in the SW, didn't you sneer at them? Even the awujale of ijebuland told him it doesn't work that way yet he preferred the counsel of folks like gani Adams etc then you now turn round to accuse people. Is a bribe a legal thing to do? Why not ask gej to come out publicly and call them chameleons himself? Let him come out and accuse them of breaking a deal now since bribery is a core tenet of this govt. Your thought pattern no be here |
chukwudi44:In 2011, buhari couldn't get 25% in any state in the SW. If that scenario had been repeated on march 28, do you think he would have been declared winner? |
winniz:Which means if you were inec official and was given money to sell your conscience, you'll sell so you won't be called a chameleon or a traitor? Your value system is very 'rich' in a morbid way |
Eurobomber was one moniker that used to irritate me so much before this election because something told me he knew how bad the gej govt was but was very happy to continue spewing hate and division in its support simply to get on the nerves of the SW and North. It was obvious he was deriving some morbid enjoyment from it. Its almost unforgivable because we could have been stuck with this same rot (which he fully was aware of) for the next 4 years if not for resilience on the part of the change proponents. But then, you've written one of the most interesting piece I've seen since the results were announced. The truth is that we all need ourselves and no one part is or should be more important than the other. I wish combatants on both sides of the divide will sheath their swords (keyboards??) And let bygone be bygones because tomorrow beckons and we shouldn't be caught napping. Change is here Weldone bro. |
Wonderful write up. I couldn't agree more. Jonathan's closest associates ruined his presidency and his reelection chances This is a warning for GMB |
DesChyko:Now that is the "devil in the details" of all the threats........ the contracts But who would blame them? Nigeria had always been about patronage but I see things changing. |
Very interesting |
SEE ANOTHER DISCOVERY By NIGERIANS Election figures APC – 15,424,921 1+5+4+2+4+9+2+1=28 PDP – 12,853,162 1+2+8+5+3+1+6+2=28 Date of Election = March 28 Coincidence? Hand of God? Plain Creepy? What do you think? |
Me sef was shocked seeing it yesterday. I just said I should see nta after a long boycott to see what they had to say and low and behold they said GMB had a masters in strategic studies and he was known for being incorruptible. ![]() I had to wake my wife to come tell me I wasn't hallucinating ![]() |
Seriously, I had to wake my wife to hear and see it so she can confirm I wasn't hallucinating. And to think they misled the nation for so long ![]() |
Elder Eziachi, candid as always. welcome back. So nice to read you again ![]() I'm your witness bro........you sounded more than enough warnings.....in fact too much. This election has shown us there's now something called people power which relies on numbers. If you don't have the numbers, you can't win and gej simply refused to listen he was loosing numbers faster than could be remedied. I just pray the peace and acceptance of the times we are in now will be sustained. |
PDP lacks the shrewd politicians to make that happen. They lack strategists. Go and ask tinubu how they got PDP reps to rebel against the might of the PDP led fg. It sure wasn't by wishful thinking |
oyb:I supported GMB and glad he won. However, what joy would I derive from taunting him for gej loosing? The political gladiators are already speaking nicely to each other, why should folks here not display such maturity? Its easier to say he deserves all the taunts but can't we be big enough to ignore him? |
I've never wished to join the arguments on any thread by the op or about the op and his changing of positions because really they're highly unnecessary and only serve to massage the egos on both sides. Also even though some seem to make a political fortune from their activities on sites like these, a lot of what goes on here fall into the realm of childish and pedestrian nonsense. Let everyone cut the op some slack pls. He won't be the first to change positions and he won't be the last. he made his decision, his candidate lost, let him have his peace. We derive so much joy in causing others pain on this forum its sickening. Even the op seems to enjoy causing himself pain otherwise how many threads will he open to explain himself? Abeg op and his traducers should let nlders rest |
