Who cares what Nigeria thinks or does?

As I said, one failed and corrupt state recognising another failed and corrupt state is of no interest to real countries

1st offence:  The castration and sterelisation of men and women wouldn't work - it's barbaric, Human Rights organisations across the world would have a field day, and Nigeria would come across as a country of savages. The damage would equal or even exceed that done by Nigerian scammers worldwide.

What about the human rights of their victims? Human rights apply to humans, these 419 scumbags are animals so this does not apply. Nigeria already comes across as a nation of criminals, that is the reason we need to act to get back on track and join the world community as a valued partner 

2nd offence:  The amputation will not work either, for pretty much the same reasons stated above.

It seems pretty popular in islamic countries and is a good deterent. Saudi Arabia is a prosperous country without 419 scumbags, so it must be a good deterent and there is no reason why it should not be made law in Nigeria.

3rd offence:  Not a good idea - what happens when it later transpires that the neck that was stretched was an innocent one? How do you revive the dead? How honest are those passing judgement, and implementing legislation / capital punishment?

There would of course have to be very strict rules and then only as a last resort, but if you have a sterislised amputee criminal who continues to steal, then why should his neck not be stretched. What good is this person to Nigeria?


People are always thinking of ways to make life easier for the Yahoo boys and there is never any word for their victims. Nigeria = Failed State with no morals

When most of the world unofficially do not care to recognise Nigeria as being a serious country, I do not really understand why Nigeria not recognising Kosovo / Serbia would be an issue?

One totally failed state not recognising another surely is not news worthy?

Firstly, the death penalty can be the only way to deter these filthy animals. There would of course have to be strict rules in place regarding the death sentence and 100% proof of the crime.

I would suggest a three stage punishment plan in terms of severity and giving people three chances:

1st Offence

Castration for men and sterilisation for women - This would prevent the criminals from fathering or giving birth to any more bad criminal stock and their names would be published in national newspapers. The castration / sterilisation would be carried out without the use of an anesthetic!

2nd Offence

Branding & Amputation - The scammer would have the words '419 Thief' branded on their faces with a red hot iron for all to see in the future and their right  hand and left foot amputated.

3rd Offence

Hanging by the neck until dead in public - This would be televised on national TV and DVD rights sold. All money raised would go towards paying back victims any stolen money.

I think this is a fair and just punishment structure and gives people a chance to change, but is harse enough on those that decide not to change.

I think you are acting very blinkered, the majority of Nigerians support it and are or directly or indirectly involved.

I think a new gene pool needs to be established in Nigeria to save the nation, that means killing off all the bad eggs.

Name one country that is scamming the whole world?

Name one country where millions of people are involved in a single crime like 419?

Name all the other countries that are seen as lepers by the world community? (other than the obvious like N. Korea)

There is nothing you can say to protect these animals or lessen the destruction they reap on Nigeria. NOTHING AT ALL 

They should all be executed!

I agree with allot of what McCloud say's about Nigeria not having a soul and it being so fragmented. The difference is there are many other nations in Africa where people struggle, just seems they do not resort to scamming, stealing and thieving to try and get by 

As for people scamming because they need to eat and live, do not forget one important point, the really poor people can not afford to sit in Internet cafes and buy mobiles phones and SIM cards 

It is not the really poor and needy people that commit these dirty scumbag crimes, it is people who are lazy and without any moral backbone

I am very sorry to hear your story, I am afraid it is very common the romance scam, which dispels a common myth that only greedy people fall for scams. That is absolutely not true, these filthy criminals prey on people feelings to steal money, they are the worst kind of sub-human garbage 

What is for sure is the majority of people here support these animals and as such it further goes to strengthen what McCloud says 'This country is as good as dead.This country is a cemetery'.

The reason why he was doing the 50 concerts was that he was broke and all his assets are held by banks and other institutions as security.
