Delivered just last week, looted this week. We need to start guarding our homes now. When they are done looting from the government, the mob will turn on their fellow masses to loot some more. |
ruffhandu:Exactly! This is an old supply. Where is their own new supply? |
aarin29642:How did the Governors lie when they have their records of delivery showing recent supply by the CACOVID team? Do you know if the same Borno has its own recent supply also waiting to be looted by the mob once they get the location? Boy Better Know. At least you agree this was shared months ago, so does it mean the states claiming with evidence that they just took delivery, did not months ago also share palliatives? Hunger and anger should not result to a human devoid of rational thought. |
Beremx:So even with all the evidence showing recent delivery by those who donated the palliatives, all of our Governors are lying? Even the twitter timeline from the Lagos State government showing delivery on 22nd September and distribution from 1st October is a hoax? That you are hungry doesn't mean you should become incapable of rational thought. You already concede these pictures was for a distribution that happened months ago. So why is it so hard to accept that this was delivered months ago to this affected state, hence the sharing months ago? Or did the states now being looted not also share out palliatives many months ago during the lockdown? Did Lagos state not share out palliatives months ago during the lockdown, and even involving tribal leaders to share out to their people who then went on to foolishly boast that their tribesman was sharing palliatives and should not share out to Yorubas in Lagos state? Just as a legislator in Lagos state got some from this recent supply, but was waiting for his birthday to begin distribution and launder his political capital and goodwill. Do you know if this old pictures is for a comparatively very late sharing of the items that other Governors had long done theirs during the thick of the lockdown, and as such should even be lampooned for being a late comer relative to other prompt Governors who distributed their old supply earlier than this state? When did we as a people become so antipathetic to facts and records? When did it become cool to flaunt our incapacity to modify our initial stance when evidence is provided? |
It is obvious that the many states whose warehouses have been ransacked recently got this new stock of palliatives as shown by the twitter timeline evidence from Lagos State and the delivery note from Akwa Ibom. These palliatives are not the same stock that was received during the thick of the lockdown. Also CACOVID which has delivered these items should help clear the air so as to convince the army of hungry educated illiterates who sadly can never be convinced by any factual evidence once they have set their minds to believe anything that cajoles their "victimhood". In the case of Lagos State, delivery already started for this recent stock via middlemen social organizations, unions, and some inglorious politicians that wanted to use it as a birthday giveaway as if it came from his pocket. Anyone trying to loot what is meant for many, should be shot on site. That a mob of 1000 people in a single local government loot what is meant for 100,000 people spread across 10 or more local governments is not something I will ever applaud. Also, the respective state governments should be more prompt and efficient in the delivery. Items don't have to age in the Warehouse for 2 weeks or 1month before complete delivery is effected. You should know that your vast population are hungry, angry, and irrational. Also, some involved government officials who must have siphoned some of the items will disclose the location so that the hungry mob will do its expected job and help cover their own tracks. |
I talk am say these people are not involved in Nigeria. Are we saying there is no hospital in Abuja public or private that she could have been attended to? Are we saying state house clinic cannot handle pre/post natal and actual delivery? |
I believe I've seen this picture before today. If anything happened to anyone in Oyigbo today, it couldn't have been this same picture. |
Igbodicool:Is there something wrong with your ancestors? Did Sahara Reporters not lie? Is that not a shameful misinformation? We are talking of Nigerian citizens being lied to by the government and deserving to know the truth, yet rather than join me and condemn such lies from the media who should behave better, your natural reaction is to reveal your tribal and emotional shortcomings? If you have no explanation for the lie and misinformation from Sahara Reporters, must you vent your tribal frustration and bigotry? Go and educate yourself before you have a conversation with me. |
"They said Seyi, my son, kidnapped, here he is," he added, pointing at Seyi Tinubu, the owner of Loatsad Promomedia Limited, an advert company based in Lagos. So Sahara Reporters lied that Seyi Tinubu and his family ran away to London. Even the media has no truth. |
Sapientia, come and wail that 31 officers being prosecuted by the Lagos State is not enough, and that the Governor told lies because you have poor comprehension. |
This useless Buhari had a report submitted since June 2019, despite recommendations for prosecution of some of the SARS officers he did not begin any prosecution till this protests. What a useless thing. |
sapientia:Is the below link not what you cited? https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/422622-endsars-lagos-govt-names-police-officers-facing-prosecution.html Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor, inaugurated the state’s eight-member panel on Monday to oversee all matters pertaining to police brutality in the state, while awaiting two representatives from the youth to join the panel. So please explain to everyone here how the Governor lied that those being prosecuted were just charged recently or due to the then ongoing protests? People have to be careful of your type here. Armchair critics who just stoke hatred of government based on their own poor education but are never at the front lines protesting. How can he lift a list from 2016 and show us in 2020 as those who will be prosecuted.Did the Governor claim they will be prosecuted, or that prosecution is already ongoing since whenever, and availed us of the next court hearing dates? Improve on your comprehension before your cause trouble not intended. |
sapientia:What exactly is your issue with what the Governor cited? So it is no longer that he lied, as you have now finally realised you have a comprehension problem? Your anger now is that the cases he cited are from 2016? So you did not know the cases are already ongoing prosecution of police men, whose next court hearing are coming up soon, hence why they were the ones cited by the state government? Devious minds like yours only need to be kept talking long enough to inadvertently admit that their initial vexation was misplaced and due to poor comprehension of even the evidence they are presenting. I shame for you. |
Lagoon0:The governor inaugurated a panel just on Monday, and even informed that the panel is incomplete, as it is pending the 2 youth representatives to complete the panel. He further went on to inform about ongoing prosecution by the state that involves police men and listed the case charge and the dates of the next court hearing. The same Governor has also just announced that petitions of police brutality can be sent to the panel which is now seating. A miseducted Nigeria suddenly wakes up and claims to have done an investigation that indicates the Governor was lying, and the cases cited are old cases from 2016. Please answer this question. Did the Governor ever claim the cases he cited were from Police brutality that occurred on the day he made the disclosure? So why is someone lacking comprehension and trying to discover River Niger like Mungo Park, when the many villages that lie on the boundary of the river have long been traversing the same river? Did the Governor lie to anyone about the ongoing nature of the cases he cited for Lagosians to follow up with their next court proceeding? Miseducation is a danger to the society. Government need to spend money on quality education. |
baby124:Comprehension is your problem. How can items clearly stated to have been received just 2 weeks ago, with signed delivery note as evidence, be termed as "since May"? When did it become cool to be antipathetic to facts and figures? |
SalamRushdie:I concur that a lot of people working without guns are also extorting fellow Nigerians in their own stations of authority. It is a Nigerian disease but it is curable by prompt, ruthless, and merciless reaction to such complaints when made with evidence. |
That is the only proof of what happened without anyone's battery going dead at the most important moments to be captured. The government should release the footages so we can confirm how many bodies were deposited with the military. Everyone deserves to know the truth separated from fiction. |
TruthinAction:I hope the police IG is not sleeping, same for the Army top brass. Until another protest start, then they begin to promise heaven on Earth, and become alive to their responsibilities. |
Nigeriabiafra80:Don't let the OP miseducate you. He has imagined what the Governor did not claim, and has only disproved his own imagination. Even the evidences he provided, rightly shows that the Governor clarified they were ongoing cases, and not new cases from a panel that has not even entertained any petition yet. |
princechina:How can I be wrong about a news whose source was the Governor, and which has also been cited by the poorly educated chap who is brewing a storm in a tea cup due to his own poor comprehension? Did the Governor ever claim the court cases he rightly cited as ongoing, are newly prosecuted cases arising from the then ongoing protests, or from the recommendations of a newly constituted panel that has not even entertained any petition? If we must lie or do a political hack job, do it with commonsense. |
sapientia:You knew it was "you people"? As in it is a crime to ask for evidence to back up your lie? What manner of anarchist will go about falsely misinterpreting the statement of the Governor, then you disproved your own misinterpretation, and you are upset that I ask for evidence that will show you misinterpreted the Governor? People like you don't know when to stop once you've set out with your own miseducation. You are a stain to the honest aspirations and protests of Nigerians who have suffered for so long. Your hideous agenda will only serve to diminish the gains achieved by the likes of Aisha Yesufu. |
sapientia, You are an anarchist and purveyor of false information. You have been enlightened that you are in error. You do not want to apologize and take back your false claims. Are you a political hack doing your master's bidding? |
sapientia:The shame is on you for not accepting that you are in error here. Show us anywhere the Governor ever said the cases he cited were for new charges in court, when we all now the different state panels for such matters have just been created? You are just discovering Mungo Park for nothing where there is no discovery to be made. We may hate the government, but we are not stupid illiterates here. Stop putting words in the mouth of government, only to turn around to dispute the words you put in their mouth. We already know that our legal system is slow with prosecution. That is why the reforms I have also clamoured for here goes beyond SARS. Is bail free at any police station? Are there not many remanded in jail who are still waiting for over 2years for their next court date since the last appearance? Why are you surprised that a criminal case has begun since 2016 without conclusion? Are you not resident in Nigeria to understand that is part of the problem that need to be resolved? Now that we know the ones ongoing that concerns murderous police men, it is our duty to follow up on those cases, and being in the spotlight now with the citing done by the Governor, the judiciary will have no choice than to fast track the case so justice can be served. Any new case that will emerge from the new panel, must also be followed up so we do not have a repeat of such delayed trials. As for you, go and work on your comprehension skills. You problem is that you do not realise that there is a difference between "those whose prosecution is ongoing" as rightly stated by the Governor, and "those who will be prosecuted" as you claim/lie the Governor said. |
The greatest problem in Nigeria is lack of comprehension. Our educational system has helped to create a lot of educated illiterates. Now OP are you sure you comprehended the information released by the state government/governor? How can a newly constituted panel that is yet to sit and deliberate on any petition, already recommend the prosecution that already has court charges ongoing? Please stop stoking anarchy with misinformation. The governor only released ongoing cases of prosecution of police/SARS by the state prosecution, and the next court dates for those cases. Every educated human being already understands that those are ongoing cases that could have began years ago going by how slow the judiciary is in Nigeria. The panel has not sat on any petition, and the Governor never made any such claim about those ongoing cases he rightly cited for our collective follow up. Can't you even see the title of the different news report from the Governor that you referenced yourself and realise those are ongoing cases? Isn't it obvious enough to a sane mind, since you can atleast read and write? Do yourself a favour and compare the first part with 2020 list"currently being prosecuted", "under prosecution" Half baked eduction can cause anarchy. Stop being a Bebeto. |
sapphiere:Wizkid announced as, not, wizkid announces. |
sapphiere:Was it Wizkid that released this information or Puma? |
BizBayo:Buhari can fire Osinbajo's aides, because Osinbajo only recommended them, but it is the President that actually hires the aides of the Vice President. So it is left to see if the Buhari inner caucus will strike back. We already know Buhari will claim to be shocked if such happens. |
RedPanthar:Why the deliberate propaganda to discredit Falz? Who knows you and what have you done to get global awareness on the protests, besides character assassination of those who have staked something? |
Ooops! Regardless of my support for the protest and pleasure in the pain and losses suffered by the useless and barbaric police, I am very certain that political hawks like Reno Omokri have a hand in some of the misinformation that has bedeviled this righteous anarchy. As for Buhari being a shame, even his family daily suffer harassment from people who have no business residing in Aso Rock, yet the useless fellow does nothing about it. All Buhari cares about is Muhammadu. |
Why do people always ask this rather stupid question every time the President makes a speech? Is it that they never learn from the previous recurring explanations or it's just a fad that will always resurface with every presidential address? |
