If Obi can succeed with a coup, he will give Igbos what they want. Atiku is cumming, Obi is couping. So I urge all Igbos to continue waiting to see if Obi will succeed, before they proceed to burn down the zoo in their region.

Greattha:No need lamenting. Provide the evidence of your truth so I can swallow it like hot coal, otherwise get the rehabilitation that you need since you have already inadvertently admitted you are only here for political propaganda. Shame on you. |
SIRTee15:I remember that phone call recording. Very strong evidence. |
I hope Obi and his anarchist Obidients would not be arrested someday too. Trump lost an election like Obi and continued to use every devious means to claim he won. Imagine Obi was an incumbent President stuck on 16 federation units where he managed 25% and finishing 3rd? Him and his mob of illiterates would have insisted that he would not relinquish power. Now they have all become lovers of military coup just because they lost in a democracy. |
Greattha:You will always believe the worst because you are already mentally handicapped from rational reasoning. You hate facts and desire fiction to satisfy your own shortcomings. Shame on you. Find a beer parlour to sell your propaganda, not a forum where sane and rational minds still exist. |
dyera:He exposed an evil of N2m statutory vacation allowance that he as Senate President is responsible for? Stop thinking like a frog. |
Bluntemperor:Fake news was already identified since the 2016 elections in the USA, as a very grave concern for democratic societies. A lot of people just want to believe the worst of everything, so fake news serves such market. |
Greattha:We believe it. We even saw the evidence in bank alert. Infact, Senators regardless of party affiliation have confirmed this fact. Go and sell your own propaganda without any single evidence elsewhere. You are the daft one who is an anarchist ready to behave like an ignorant mob. |
christejames:It would always be a necessity as long as it is a statutory allowance. Abi no be so all Labour Unions from Medical Doctors to ASUU dey demand for their rights based on previous agreements not fulfilled, not to talk of vacation allowance that has always been paid all fully employed staff all over the world. |
helinues:While it is true that it is the statutory N2m vacation allowance that was received and not some bogus tales of sharing billions of Naira, SP Akpabio need to stop courting a negative perception for both the Senate and the Federal Government. There are way too many anti-government anarchist already in the country. He should not put them on overdrive to create chaos. |
callthefred:You would rather believe allegation without fact than believe fact with evidence that it was a N2m alert that is vacation allowance that all Senators received? |
christejames:Was it only APC Senators that received their due vacation allowance? |
JASONjnr:Again I tell you that we Nigerians would also rejoice when the same military coup you are supporting in Niger happens in Nigeria with the future sacking of any Igbo President. Nigeria too would be regarded as a sovereign country not to be harassed by any external concerns. Your tribesmen are too myopic and fueled by hate to ever reason logically or stand for truth. Continue with your foolishness. |
wilmant:Nope! A lot of jobs racketeering going on in the public service. This must be investigated fully and punitive measures applied. |
JASONjnr:Same way ignorant Ghanaians would say Ghana's leadership should leave a sovereign Nigeria alone, that the majority of Nigerians are happy with the dismissal of President Peter Obi by a military coup led by Hausas and Yorubas. You Igbos are very myopic in your reasoning. |
JASONjnr:Would you say same if a future Peter Obi regime is terminated by the military and Yorubas and Hausas and Fulani and Kanuri are rejoicing? You guys have no sense in your heads. |
The military dictatorship in Niger must be delusional. Once removed, them must all be prosecuted for treason. |
KEVIND:I knew a stupid comment would not be far fetched on this topic. |
ufotunang:You are very right, but it seems their calendar has been set long before this current class. Also, it would seem that it is not a Nigerian only phenomenon. The US Congress of both Senate and House of Reps that we have copied in Nigeria, also go on recess quite frequently. In fact, it would seem that an August Recess is an international standard amongst many other recesses in the year. According to them, it is not only for enjoyment but to reach out to their constituents back home and also to work offline on their planned bills to be initiated. comrChris:Weirdly enough, I have nothing to gain except for Nigeria to work. However, I strongly believe that our news media prefer sensationalism over factual information. As such, a lot of people have become so anti-government that they are willing to believe the worst and behave like a mob, rather than be better educated with the facts. As for the justification for their recess, just as Nigerian workers in both public and private establishments are still going for their statutory vacations and enjoying their vacation allowances, so are these public officers allowed to do so as already laid down in their annual legislative schedule. Or did the many opposition Senators complain that a crime has been perpetrated with the funds they received, or that the Senate led by APC was wrong to proceed for a recesses that was already delayed to screen Ministers whose nominations came in late? Ignorance is the reason why many claim a serious Government should do so so within so so time, or stop so so practice, only to get there and see that the previous assertions made are not practical. I am not a member of the ignorant mob. You may disagree with my submission, but it has been proven right by the many critics who later found themselves in power and became lame.

Well since taking hostage, General Tiani fearing a military intervention to release him has broken all the link fighting terrorism and demobilised all the units he brought to Niamey for his own protection as he also sent forty (40) vehicles of the special forces to keep his parents in his native village in Toukounous. Not surprised at all. The wicked are always afraid of their own shadow. When you commit treason against the constitution and country, the fear of death is always palpable. The military junta will only destroy that country. |
ambale:Nonsense is when every other employer and employee go on vacation, but somehow expect the legislators not to go for theirs. Isn't that selfish? Didn't they show patriotism and good work ethic by delaying the recess to accommodate the late nomination of Ministers by the Tinubu Presidency? As you are not a Robot, so are they not a Robot. Or due to the "situation" in the country, you want them to pass a labour law that all employees must continue working without vacation and all employers must stop paying vacation allowance? Let stop reasoning like a mob. |
Let them continue only on very strong and actionable intelligence. Do not bomb civilians and law abiding citizens by mistake. |
comrChris:What has oppressed and oppressor got to do with the Senate going on recess and getting their N2m recess allowance as confirmed by many sources including Senators who shared the alert screenshot? Must we lament aimlessly? People like me work and get paid. I go on vacation and get paid. N2m recess allowance for Senators whose direct salary is about N29m per annum, is certainly not outrageous. Many Nigerians working for top multinationals earn more than N20m per annum. Some even at entry level roles. So why would I be vexed that Senators earn N29m per annum or earn N2m for their recess? So maybe that is why I do not reason like a part of the ignorant mob. |
ambale:Nothing unusual.
|
Solsix:My point is that I answered your question with a global perspective/reference. Except you were just lamenting aimlessly and preferred to remain ignorant? Then I'm sorry for the enlightenment. |
Solsix:Frequent recess by the legislature is a global standard. For your education, see below.
|
GO0DHardDick:I am not saying they will not share N70b among themselves. Yes they will share it as budgeted, but it is not for vacation or recess enjoyment that the N2m is for. Even if Nigerians are suffering, that will not stop every organ of government from budgeting funds for their operations. |
BoldBrainz:You must have believed all the anarchy you have been reading online. Even the truth has become unattractive to you. Google it an set yourself free from suppositions and embrace facts. |
Morbeta11:So what was posted to convince you that the money is markedly bigger than N2m? |
GO0DHardDick:Dude calm down. The N70b will be shared to the new Senators as per its purpose in the budget. It is more of a starter allowance to help them settle their official needs for their 4yr term. What they have received that was loquaciously disclosed by Akpabio is N2m vacation / recess allowance. This fee would always be paid for every vacation or recess that they are entitled to. The N70b will be shared later for the planned purpose and not for vacation enjoyment. And when the N70b is indeed shared, will it still amount to billions for each of the over 100 Senators as you scandalously asserted before? We should all take responsibility for our claims and stop being scandalous and ignorant. |
Morbeta11:You will always chose to believe anything negative. Even the bank alert that was posted online by a source showed it was N2m. |
