Ucheosefoh:My brother those people killed rail system for their trailer business to strive. Haven't you noticed that a particular tribe owns all the trailers businesses. That is why they are not supporting GEJ bc he is spoiling their monopolised businesses in many sectors. Haven't you noticed also that he is being criticised more by these same people who will oppose anything good for the country. |
duni04:You read when they reminded him that his immunity will soon be over. Even if they report him now, there is nothing police, efcc or court could do. The best place to prosecute him now is the court of public opinion so that when he is eventually arrested after his tenure nobody will say he is being persecuted bc he belongs to opposition party. |
emmyw:...why won't they when Facebook, Bbm, Twitter, 2go and baba Ijebu will not allow them to read. The same reasons there was mass failure at the law school... |
emmyw:...why won't they? |
wabuk:Is it because Apc lost at the poll and now at the Tribunal? We should learn to accept defeat once. I see another looming nationwide crisis if GMB loose again next year. Election are not won on social media. APC should connect with the masses, that is Fayose's plus. Apc won in Osun and nobody is disturbing Ogbeni Rauf, they are all waiting for tribunal's decision, that is how to be a looser. |
But why waiting till the day the tribunal threw out their (Apc) case against Fayose? Were they thinking Fayemi will be returned? I suggest they reconcile and stop allowing third party to make them throw stones into their own homes. Ekiti belongs to them all. |
It happened to one of my friends, they will kidnap you, collect your ATM card, force you to disclose your pin, pass the card to another member, go to ATM Machine, withdraw till daily limit, keep you till 12am if you still have money in your account to withdraw more and if not, release you to go. Olorun ma je ka rin ni ojo ti ebi n pa ona. May God continue to order our steps. |
holluwai:...and this is the definition of democracy Buhari is coming to offer? |
UnknownT:Even the Director General that exposed that our population census were fraudulent was kicked out bc he dared exposed the fraud of the past. I remember how this same ACF and Kwankwaso led his recommendations for sack. When it concerns the North, the more you look, the less you see. They want GEJ to "defeat" Boko Haram but don't want him to appoint non Northerners as NSA, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence. |
Anaskie:Even the new wigs in my office can't make this fundamental mistake. Instead for PDP to engage seasoned, current and practising lawyers, they keep engaging this political lawyers (SAN) who are out of touch with current trend in legal matters. I am ashamed to see the useless mistake our learners silks are making this days. One wonder if they ever qualified for such privilege in the first place. |
balash:Agbejo eti kan da, agba osika ni. Even when they are not addressing him, because of the life he lives, he will think he is the one they are taking to. For example, if the pastor say don't drink, don't smoke, don't womanise, He will think the pastor is talking to him. Tell me, which of the above a sinner will hear and be comfortable? |
Awaja:When he was in CPC in 2011 and lost the election, the North has not known peace till date, now that he has extended his nest to ACN/Apc southwest, I pray we do not have a repeat of northern crisis in Southwest if he losses again. |
Pataki:E ni ti Sango ba t'oju e wo'le, ko ni ba won bu obakoso. We have been there before, if not for tribal politics, APC has better candidates that could do better than this old and expired man, Rochas is there, Fashola is there, Oshiomole is there etc but bc of the mentality that it must be North, see where we are. (Rochas and Nda that was allowed to contest was just to give it color that Christian & other tribes are allowed to contest, they know what the are doing and who will fly the flag ab initio). |
Okeikpu:My fear now is, if he chooses a Southerner and a Christian as his VP and dies few days into the government and the VP becomes the president, the North will say they are short changed again and yet they presented a quarter to die man again like in the time of Yar Adua. |
Frankenstein:Don't forget he won't be a Military dictator by then again, so all his actions are subject to check and balances by the Legislators and the court. Wake up, the game is different! |
Eziachi:My people have an adage you are not expected to see blood in the mouth of a witch when she kills. I wish him well 2015 is close, may the Lord keep us all. I witnessed his rule as military head and God willing, we shall all see that what an elder sees seating, even if a child climbs Iroko tree, it can't see it. Finally, integrity dictates that when you make a promise, you keep it, in 2007 GMB promised he will not contest again, in 2011, he made the same promise. He has not kept any. Even if they say GEJ made the same promise, it is not to the whole nation but to selected few but GMB was to all of us. He that wants equity, must come with a clean hand. |
Immune1:I agree with you on this. i hv said it before, all these days, some prominent Northern leaders by their words and actions have been giving tactical and unconscious support to BH and Buhari, Sultan, El-Rufai etc are some of them. They even pleaded with the President not to use force on them and suggested he dialogue with them like Niger Delta Militants, not knowing that some of them were only using delay tactics to buy time for BH to get more daring and empowered. When Ihejirika came, before the appointment of NSA Dansuki, he killed many of the Boko boys, the same Northern Leaders started accusing The President and Ihejirika of ethnic cleansing and even threatened to report Ihejirika to ICJ. The moment Dasuki took over, Boko boys started having upper hand. For me, I blamed GEJ because he played into the hand of some hawks who do not wish the country well. But again, I understand his predicament, he need extreme caution because anything he does or fail to do will be misinterpreted either on ethnic or religious ground. All of us criticising him should go back to history, it is still recent. Secondly, I know Buhari may be the APC flag bearer but for some of us who witnessed his military rule may not support his ambition because most of his selling are not realistic or true and do not meet the current reality of the nation. Corruption I strongly disagree with the propaganda that Buhari is corrupt free. During his rule with late Gen Tunde Idiagbon, he made several decrees to ban free press even if the publication is true. We all got to know about GEJ corruption because the press are given freedom to publish anything even if it is a lie or exaggerated. For him to claim now that he is not corrupt is a lie. He cant be trusted, because we are not privileged to know all that happened during his iron reign and does not have house of Rep or Senate to submit his budget to except the so called PRC who are soldiers that were trained to obey the last order. Many supporters will be disappointed bc this is democracy, all his actions will be subjected to Legislators and Judiciary. Even if he arrests anybody for corruption, the person must be charged to court and the drama will begin thereafter. Thirdly, Now that he seeks to be the president of the country, what support does he want from the former leaders and Nigeria? This is a man that has not contributed anything, suggestion or advise to the government since he left office except inflammatory statements that gave birth to the crisis we have in the North today and by extension, the birth of BOKO crisis. Buhari does not attend Council of State meeting and the only time he associated with GEJ government was when he was given Centenary award (selfishness). That is not a leader that could be trusted. |
Boss13:He should just decamp to APC, he will be accepted and be rebranded. |
. |
I expect the Returning officer to come up soon to say that it was an error when he announced that they had 806 delegates, he meant to say 860 delegates. That settles the matter. But how are we sure that it was not Koro that imported the 'ghost' extra delegates and now worked against him? |
bamidele029:The figures are the same, just re position the 0 and 6, the figure will balance either for 806 or 860. |
madridguy:Sorry Bros, I just dey observe events. Probably according to you, it is PDP that bombs whenever they (PDP) organise any programmes and give total calm and bomb free gift to APC Programme. Like I said earlier, I am just observing. It is either APC is sponsoring Boko Haram or it (APC) is getting sympathy or support of Boko Haram as some of us are supporting either of the parties here. |
In a sane society, this is how it should be. Deputy succeeding their superior for continuity. It gives room for growth. |
Have just observed that all APC leaders and their anointed are winning? Now I know the reason why some of the leaders can not be subordinate under anybody in other parties, they want to be in charge. The godfathers! |
Was there bomb blast during the primary? I know there won't be any but if it is PDP primary or any special program, scores would have been killed. Just observing sha! |
DavidHume:Gomina Lateef Jakande Chief Michael Otedola... |
tit:Statute of limitation does not cover crime. Crime could be prosecuted anytime however long unless it was not an offence as at the time it was committed. More so, the perjury on Inec form is recent. |
9jauk:So, it is not human rights when Boko Haram kills but it is when soldiers killed Boko Haram? America should respect itself, Nigeria is a threat to them and they do not want us to grow and have influence in Africa. Remember what happened during Ebola case, they refused to give us their overhyped Zimap until God helped us to show them that Naija no dey carry last. The truth is, America don't like us. The best Head of State to deal with them so far was Abacha. |
BiHung:No contempt order will be issued. IG has not disobeyed any order of the court. Status quo could mean different things to different persons, depending on the angle you perceived it. As at the time of the order, IG has withdrawn Tambuwal security details, stopped recognising him as the speaker, that is the IG's status quo. But seriously, IG is right for refusing to recognise Tambuwal as speaker. Our constitution is clear on defection, police are empowered to enforce the law as it is. They don't need to wait for court interpretation before arresting a suspect or charge anybody to court. It is your duty to challenge them in court if you feel they wrongly enforced the law. That is why lawyer go to court for the enforcement of fundamental right when a suspect is detained more than 24 hours. The constitution says, once you defect, you loose your seat. That is the law as it is, every other argument is sentiment not law. |
akinsadeez:res ipsa loquitur the fact speaks for itself. You either believe the story with the picture or the story with no corroborative evidence. The choice is yours |
soroptimist:I beg to differ slightly sir, the issue you raised is not about ACN or PDP Reps betrayal but regional greed. The party zoned the speaker's office to the South West, yet the North used their numbers to hijack it, when you add their numbers and with the majority of APC/ACN from the west, they can achieve whatever they want. That is the reason I guess Jonathan does not want to table the National Conference report now bc the north will kill it with number strength while West APC members will join them notwithstanding the benefit to the region, just to continue to blackmail GEJ As a failure. Imagine what would have happened if it was the north that the position was zoned to and another region hijacked it? Ordinary that Jonathan constitutionally finished the tenure of Yar Adua and stood for another election, see where we are now with most of the decampees, crisis, antagonism, insecurity coming from the North and Northerners with the support of the opposition party from the west and south. Yet the North has: Vice president Senate President "Speaker" of the House Chief Justice of Nigeria Chief of Army Staff National Security Adviser Chief of Defence Inspector General of Police Etc and the only position occupied by the South is being threatened daily and the one zoned to the west was hijacked by the North. |
9:15, She is here now, collection going on smoothly. Three persons hv collected so far. |
