OBSESSION Trip.

Two words with great deal of importance, both to the universe itself and the inhabitants therein, two major players keeping the universe in equilibrium "Human&Nature".

This two major players keep the universe in motion with the former pressurizing the existent of the latter through their uncanny instincts and ever sorted for "illuminism", human and his daily activities causing incessant ravage of the once abundant natural resources. Am not talking of gold, not diamond, not ruby,not gem and certainly not the mighty crude oil, but the priceless flora&fauna that keeps the cycle of life intact,the trees providing us with oxygen unpaid for,the animals operating both the nitrogen and carbon cycles,thus natural resources are used effectively in apparently all sectors of human livelihood,to the extent of accumulating wealth through the expense of this resources, with mild regard and cavalier attitude to the conservation of this resources.

Its time for the human race to implement strict conservation and save nature, undoubtedly, SAVING NATURE WE SAVE HUMAN RACE.

Thoughtfully the most underrated gift of nature endowed with clusters of grace, an embodiment of peace, sheer display of strength, utter beauty and glamor and a multipurpose convention of usage which highlight the service they render to man and his environment. Trees are used in virtually all areas of life encompassing Health, Agriculture, Fashion, Culture, Industrialization, Education, Construction, and most importantly the acute sustainability of our environment which brings me to the part of reducing the effect of emitted green house gases in the environment.

Trees are so important to us but we fail to ascertain that as the perfect truth, manifestly some people are not aware of various basic essence of trees, like; Trees are used in pulp and paper production, alcoholic drinks, drugs, rubber, cotton, matches, toothpicks. But everything has a source and the source giving topmost respect, just like Brian Tracy said “Many of our concerns in life have to do with money”, a small change to that I think “Many of our concerns in life have to do with trees” I believe trees are resourceful utility provider accustomed to keeping human being alive.

With great enthusiasm of what lies in stock in terms of game viewing and attractions i prepared for my journey to old Oyo National park,only to be met with damning infrastructural and technical management,extending to invisible research work which may probably enable the RE-introduction of unavailable animals to the park,animals like Elephant,Lion and much more,which formerly grace the vast area of the park.On getting to Igbeti range which boast of Oyo-ile[relics of Old Oyo empire dating to the reign of Alafin Sango]we had to fuel the park's patrol vehicle to convey us, all this problems generating from inadequate funding of what may turn out to be a gold mine to buttress Nigeria's GDP. And political influence in selection of Directors in all levels of the park management up to the post of conservator general, case of an Accounting/Finance graduate with the post of a CP,highly ludicrous!! perhaps he his required to conserve money in place of flora&fauna.Nigerian government and Nigeria as a nation should wake up from her slumber,and revitalize a sector some other countries cherish.
