I'd just like to know if one has to do anything special to go there apart from getting the uk visa.

the man who wants to be worshipped by his wife must do things that are worth worshipping. He cannot be a fake guy and expect his woman to lick his shoes soon as he steps into d house. In the days when husband worshipping was the ish, it was cos the husbands were the all in all of the house. the man goes out all day, works himself to the ground in the farm or where ever, comes back home sweaty, provides her with yams, provides her with a few cowries for that wrapper she's been asking for, still has time to mend the leaking roof and even goes to mend a broken wall in his parents place and when the day was over, he still had time to give 'it' to her! of course he was worthy of worship! no be now wey after working 8 - 4 (same hours she's worked) he comes to sit home and expects the worship his fathers got. you wanna be worshiped? earn it like yo daddy did!

Now, i have to be careful how i put my views here. I believe men and women are equal. . . but not in the way women think. for instance, a woman cannot have the physical strenghth of a man. even elementary science will show u that. so, in that, men win women 1-nil. however, not many men can beat a woman in her managerial skills! that's why women are 'home makers'. If women are allowed to use those same home making skills in d office. . . so in that, women are better. now, by the time u sum up the weaknesses and strengths of men and women, they kinda even up. so, I think instead of fighting for equality ( and then still expecting the man to hold open d door for u or stand up for you to sit), know your strenghths and roles as men and women, rock them well, and know you're not less or more than anyone.

Thanks I understand the concern. but its not the type of money traffic that will cause concern. (at least not that I know of). its mostly withdrawals. and its for things like land that he can explain as he has submitted the documents for the land. the only big deposits in the account are explainable as well. na im salary.

I've never really paid attention to the stress of gathering documents for visa application. i'v always applied as family visitor. and most for most of the applications, na my mama go do everything for me. almost fill the form for me sef. all I had to do was append signature. i've only applied 2ce as an independent person and by then, I didnt have to be too careful with my applications.

abeg, make una no vex o. should he also add his flight booking even if he's not paid for it and the booking will obviously expire before the visa comes? also, he transfered some bulk money from his fidelity bank to his other bank account a few weeks before he printed his statement. he has included both statements to proove that both accounts belong to him. should he add any information about this in the area where you're asked if you have any other information you'll like them to consider while assessing ur application for a visa (i.e section marked 'additional information'?

Sorry. More questions. He has a good job and earns a lot. He wants to knw Hw he can prove he has ties to Nigeria. He's not married and Doesnt have children. Is It a Good idea to add land docs as proof of ties?

Hallo, I've never applied for a visa as a tourist. a colleague of mine is doing so and would like to know what is required as 'itinenary'.
to apply for visa to uk as a tourist requires itinenary and proof of places to visit. How does he show that in the application? by simply listing places to visit or does one have to show bookings for these places along with hotel and flight booking?

Is there a reason why UK visa is so expensive and all others are apparently cheaper? a schengen visa that will take me to even more countries costs less, U.S visa is cheaper as well. I really don't know how much other visas are but I hear they're cheaper as well.

I absolutely LOVE traveling! its the one thing i could splurge on! and I really dont mind where I'm going or how I'm going. . by road, by train, by air, boat sef to a place within Nigeria, or outside!
I love traveling by air (though the part I love most is take off!) then by road or train, I cant even read a book cos i'm sooooo caught up looking at the scenery. I think I have 'travel disease'.
within Nigeria i've been to Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Delta, Abuja, Enugu, Anambra, Rivers, Cross Rivers and of course, LAGOS. my fav city in Nig - Abuja! PHC used to be a nice place b4 all the fighting of 2007 and since then, its dropped down my list.
outside Nigeria (er. . its not like i'm the most widely traveled o!)

visited Cote d'Ivoire. . . It was a loooovely place (but i hear the war spoilt it all), lovely food as well

Been to UK several times and i'd say London no b am. . . noisy and dirty. . scotland has the warmest people but the climate's also the coldest. . . Wales just makes me wanna say green trees. . . and in England, the sweetest place 4 me is Exeter and the drive from exeter to London is the most heavenly I've been on (FOR ME O!) especially in the autum. . . soooooooo scenic!

visited Dubai! went with a group of friends. before we left, a friend of mine said Dubai's so hot you'd always think there was the exhaust from a plane blowing in ur face. . . thot she was joking. omo, the heat no be beans! I was constantly looking for the space ship exhaust that was blowing in my face! but the place is lovely. looks like a place for bored architects though.

and went to Holland some time ago. when I landed in schipol airport, i had to confirm by actually looking at the lights that said 'schipol' to be sure i was in the right place. it was not what i expected at all! expected so much more! which reminds me, airport for dubai na die! lovely lovely lovely! the hague was nay bad. clean wide streets with people driving in the correct side of the road. . .

Hello! please i have an odd question to ask. . . i know its probably silly but i know the uk embassy can b quite funny sometimes. . . i've always applied for uk visa through abuja but due some some reasons, i'm more likely to apply through lagos this time. i've always got my visa, but i have this silly feeling that applying from a different place will some how result in a refusal. is this my concern completely unfounded?

As I looked @ d calendar today, i realised democracy day is coming and I had been planning to go to abuja to visit friends. But I was suddenly gripped by fear that Boko Haram would attack again and I've sharply rescheduled my visit.
