your post made me smile. remember some of the lines frm a movie |
sunical: Linda is a self-published journalist.ok na. |
sunical: It worries me the way journalism is going in Nigeria and other parts of the world. What will it take a journalist to verify a story's authenticity before publishing it?Linda no be journalist o. she's not even a writer on any gossip column of any newspaper or mag or anything. and some people said RMD shoulda just called her to clarify. . . but being that she's not exactly out to give u guys truthful info like journalists should, the next thing you would all have heard is RMD SECRETLY CALLED ME TO BEG ME TO ACCEPT BRIBE TO REMOVE THIS STORY or some other 'story' along those lines. |
kilanko5: The topic and the right up contradicts. Nice right up anyway.true o. the topic's bout mood swing during pregnancy but it talks about how her pregnancy went. but yup, the write up was nice. |
my now late uncle gave me N1 when i came first in primary one! i thot the world had ended! i was sooooo proud! another friend of mine remembers when as a child, she danced at her some occasion and someone sprayed her N5 note. and when she showed her elder bro, he shook his head and said 'after all your dancing, this is all you were given?' he decided to HELP her double the money and gave her 2 N1 notes. his logic was that since there were 2 notes, she now had more money. she being a baby that couldnt count yet thot she'd hit the jack pot! Sylverbox: I can see dat agriculture was key in 9ja den, its all over d coins...i used 2 earn N2.50k per wk in pri schl those days..wow! Good old days!interesting o! i ddnt even look at it like that. good stuff. |
gulfer: The Nationalization of Senior posts is breeding extreme Nepotism in my organization, and I dislike it!you sure say me and u no de work for the same place so? |
mu2sa2: Love a lawyer; it's legal.i like this one o! and here's my contribution JEHOVA BU EZE LET THEM SAY |
all these arguments on whether or not to leave Nigeria is a little old na. to each his own. life na per head. Nigeria favours some while obodo oyibo favours others. security and standard of living outside Nigeria is good stuff, and then in Nigeria, with a certain kinda job, u can afford the kinda life that wont mean u're missing much on what oyibo land has to offer. Canada temporarily closing skilled visa applications must b bad news for people who were considering moving. i think canada has received more applications this yr especially as uk don tighten belt. |
^when britons themselves do not make similar statements, i wonder wetin come be your own. Brits have one of the highest emigration rates in the world.
lol. tell them |
claremont: Guilt-free sex!interesting! what makes s.ex guilty or guilt free? companionship is what i really what in a relationship. you dont have to be in a relationship to get the other things. |
in truth, its hard to find a way to explain or say where its written. there's no where its expressly written that a man can only marry one wife. however, there's a part of the bible that says a man shall leave his family and cleave to his wife and the 2 shall become one. some people like to argue that he can be one with as many women as he wants. but i think that argument is only for people who wanna marry more than one at all cost. |
who say make my water no boil, kettle no go de im house inside who pound yam and who chop am, na who pound am no de forget if shame catch mouth, hunger go catch belle |
is Dare art Alade short? those his heels will put any woman to shame men. |
thanks. but there's no e-copy of the book. only hard and paper backs. |
Weave: That so wrong. You have a typical Nigerian man mentality. Ignorant. I don't see anything wrong with dat. My bf cooks for me alot& I don't take it for granted. It's called love. That y whenever he wants me to do something, I try to do it REALLY well and respect him alot tooTell them jare. |
2buff: We're talking girlfriend here. Not wife and not fiance. Very different dynamics. boomssey: No b gf go turn to wife? ![]() |
I've always said that a real man is not defined by how little he does in d house or how much money he spends. A real man can help out in d house and still remain the HNIC (that's Head Nigga In Charge). Being a man goes beyond just staying away from chores. When ur woman has issues at work, with her family, with her faith, with her dreams, with herself generally, who does she go to? D ur words immediately bring an end to her issues? Are u the person to meet? Does she knw that U have her back? If u'r not all these and u think simply staying away from the kitchen and bringing some cash when she needs it is all u need to b a man, then u got it wrong man. Help ur woman at home. A woman who disrespects u cos u clean up with her will disrespect u even if you don't. Also, I'm guessing women also use their money for the house which is out of her 'traditional' role. |
Up on all the time u've spent on this thread you could not even find an easier word for us |

kemmy16: i wanna travel to UK and i don't want to use my US passport so can i get visa with my Nigeria passport?I think you should go to the uk general visa enquiries thread to ask bout this. they'll know better there. |
kramer: Well if you think about it the visa grants you access to 4 countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Irelandwell, Schengen grants you entry to even more countries. . . except we'll also consider the British Tourist territories. But i think Netherlands also has some of such territories. |
I don't know if i should open a new thread for this or if its ok for me to just ask this here. there are some countries that one can visit using UK visa. they are called British tourist territories or so. I'd just like to know if one has to do anything special to go there apart from getting the uk visa.
well? |
