chidyke77: good observation,Utaka and Yaya are in the same level bt Utaka surpasses Yaya in the sense that City has world class players to compare wt poor Montp who were in tougher contention wt rich PSG.Remember that Utaka scored a meagre 7 goals in a lesser league compared to EPL. Yes, PSG is a formidable opposition that Montpieller did well to witstand but EPL is a league where every opponent is very tough and Yaya proved himself here, scoring crucial goals. I've never mentioned how versatile he is sef. He is Man City's engine room but in Montpieller u cant call Utaka that. Giroud is their engine room....Utaka just made headline cuz of the brace he scored in their last match to lift the cup. |

For u slow thinking people who reason that God takes side in sports, check out this scenario: Its the African Cup of Nation final, Cameroon v Egypt or Ivory Coast v Egypt. Cameroon/Ivory Coast players gather round and pray in the "christian" way. Egypt gather and pray the "muslim" way. Naturally, who do u think SHOULD win? Churchgoers would automatically give both matches to Cameroon and Ivory Coast, but what really happened? Of course Egypt won those 2 matches! Does that make God a muslim? Maybe islam the right religion? Why didnt God answer his own "children"? . Think, what makes Chelsea better than Bayern that God will side them and overlook Bayern's "prayer"? What makes u think there arent more religious people there in Germany who may have prayed more harder for Bayern to win? Why didnt God answer them? Why Chelsea? . Think again, does God support a particular boxer to win a title considering the rules of the sport, that is inflicting injuries to an opponent? Does God love violence? Remember, football is sports so if God has a hand in football, he must have a hand in other sports as well... . Guys, think well before u reach a conclusion. I'm a Chelsea fan and im VERY happy we won but in NO WAY was God involved in the match nor in any sport whatsoever... . KTBFFH! |

RuuDie: Dumb post, idiotic follow up comments. . . .Newcastle was completely outplayed in that match so there was no way he could have influenced the match. But this time, Webb can influence the match cuz as expected, Man Utd will outplay Sunderland so Webb can award PKs, Red Cards, goal line stuffs etc in favour of Man Utd. He couldnt do that in Newcastle v Man City cuz the ball was always in Newcastle's 18. Expect a harvest of controversial goals tomorrow.... |

How i wish RDM will play Team B in this match. Even if we lose 10-0 and finish 6th, no wahala. Just rest the big boys for final. Who knows, losing today might be a blessing in disguise...it will spur us on to win the final and qualify for CL next season via 'defending champions' 3 Likes |

logica: I thought about that as well, but commonsense should tell you it's a mistake (they posted EST times) since week day games (apart from holidays) cannot be played that early. Today is obviously not a weekend day or public holiday. The funny thing was the correct time was on the site even as at the moment I responded because I did check.Yea, I know that during weekdays matches cannot be played that early but what confuses me is the FA cup final on saturday. I thought the FA wanted Chelsea to play early enough to allow them rest and prepare well for the final considering that Liverpool played a day ahead. All the same, ur correct. The time in the site was on a different timezone from GMT... |
