Then lastly, if I turned on the ac while driving at a stable speed of 100km/h, my temperature gauge rise. If I turned it off it will come down to normal. But if ac is on and I don't exceed 80km/h, the temperature gauge stays normal. Please help.

I think your car is displaying the Trip Counter and not the Odometer reading...

It's advisable to get a smaller car (eg Corolla) if you are not yet very good at driving.

You are comparing a self contained mini flat with a four bedroom bungalow.

1. The amount of Toyota Corolla, Matrix and Pontiac Vibe will increase.
2. More people will carry out VIN check and pre purchase inspection before.
3. Fuel will be scarce in December.

Means it has luxury features like leather seat, premium sound system, some have DVD display and reverse cam.. In short it has some things same model basic edition car don't have.

I am planning to change both the engine and the transmission oil because the transmission oil is getting dark too. Actually, one kazeem have recommended a visco2000(forte oil) for the engine. Please which oil will you recommend. Gurus in house please come to my aid o.

What has previous owner been using?

My brother I use Camry n corrola. 98 candy 03 corrola. I did this. Camry was bought in naija used corrola imported. No such thing as u claim oga abeg. I give my wife d camry I'm using corrola so park well

You can open throttle anyhow when you are in lokoja-Abuja expressway. But be careful oh or that road wee kee you. Just make sure you don't journey those roads too early in the morning or late in the evening.....

I've already sent money to the person that will be traveling to the place the vehicle is to conclude everything tomorrow so that I can make payment.

Goggling about faulty airflow meter is actually giving me a concern.

Pls someone should help. Another is that , the person I sent for inspection said he noticed the Abs wasn't tighten well, of which he did and when I asked the owner, he said there was a time they worked so so and so place so the have to by-pass the abs. Didn't really know much about those stuffs. Though the mechanic I sent said the engine and every other things are ok just that the airflow meter is bad.

Should I worry much about that even when the airflow meter has been fixed? thanks

Do not buy an 18 year old car to replace a 15 year old car, get something newer and maybe smaller...

I think the avensis verso is a 7 seater while the corolla is a 5 seater. I don't know about yaris verso never seen it before.

but those vehicles are just used to replace some vehicles in certain continents to bypass government taxes. Eg the sienna isn't sold in Europe but the previa was. The verso were sold in some Asian countries and Denmark, Austria etc.

just have in the back of your mind that majority of those verso are converted from RHD to LHD ensure that your specimen of choice was well converted. You can look for the below ones for they have LHD from factory

1. Toyota Picnic

2. Toyota Avanza

Corolla verso is 7 seater.
Abundant in Germany, mostly diesel engine though.

Good day pals.... I've got a lexus es 330 2004... that's been having various issues for sometime now.... these issues include;
Rough idle/misfiring...
Shorts engine oil regularly...
Doesn't accelerate fast enough for a v6.(even v4 better)
Then engine doesn't seem to produce enough power when accelerating....
Consumes fuel.....
.
So I decided to take the car for a scan and the technician advised that if I can afford it... I should change the engine...(that's after the following codesteps popped up...

P0300 (random/multiple cylinder misfire)
P0302 (cylinder 2 misfire)
P0303 (cylinder 3 misfire)
P0304 (cylinder 4 misfire)
P0325 (knock sensor 1 circuit malfunction bank1 or 1 sensor)
P0330 ( knock sensor 2 circuit malfunction (bank2))
P1135 (manufacturer control fuel air metering)
P1351 (manufacturer control ignition system or misfire)

NB- Codes P0300,p0302, p0303,p1351 all reappeared again.

Before now I had changed all coils and plugs...


Let's hear ur own opinions

Please, list all other things you've done to fix the car.
All codes relate to intake system.

So I'll recommend you do the following:
Check fuel pump filter
Do a pressure test on the fuel pump and compare result with standard expectation
Check fuel injectors for blockage
Check throttle body if butterfly is blocked
Check air filter
Confirm state of ignition coils and spark plugs.

If all the above are clean and operating properly, you shouldn't have any performance issues
